Chapter Eighteen

Rapunzel's POV

The witch gasped frantically running to hide inside a hut up in a big ass tree. I smiled widely as I slowly made my towards her the rest of the witches watching me but none dared to stop me. It was now nightfall and Amima had found the witch by looking through the memories of one of the warrior back at the hospital, it was a tad unexpected but then I remembered that he did the same thing when he outed those guys at school. It had saved a lot of energy although the walk here had my blood boiling over again as I thought about what she did to my mate and family *she almost killed them if not for the fact that their wolves were strong they would've died.* Amima muttered in my head as I began my ascend towards the house "Who do you think you are trespassing on my territory demon." I turned towards the voice that held authority, there stood a woman about five feet eight, wearing a long black gown and black hat. *Talk about cliché* Amima muttered sarcastically, I looked into her eyes filled with years of wisdom as I replied "finishing some business witch." The woman's gaze narrowed as she stepped towards me "and what business is that?" My muscles clench ready for anything and anyone "that slut." I replied hatred dripping from my tone as I pointed a thumb behind me, the witch's eyes gazed up as she looked at the house her curious gaze switched to annoyance and anger as she realized who I was referring to. "Please my apologies for what she did to you young mistress, I assure you it won't happen again especially when I'm through with her." She said as her voice hardened at the end. She raised her hand and beckoned to someone behind me and I turned to see the bitch swaying her hips in confidence albeit her knees were shaking and the thin sheen of sweat proved otherwise. She brushed against my shoulder harshly as she passed causing me to stumble a bit forward *drop her.* Amima snarled out but I kept my cool as I regained my balance and stared ahead "your majesty called?" She chimed sweetly as she bowed before the woman. "It seems you have caused trouble yet again and this time not only was it with a mere demon but with one of very high status. What am I to do with you?" The lady growled out as she looked at the bitch. I snarled in my head as Amima's impatience was starting to affect me now. "I'm sorry your majesty but, but the alpha came unto me even when I told him I wasn't interested and those people were about to attack me for God knows what a-and I only defended myself." The bitch stuttered out a fucking lie from her filthy mouth and that did it. My hair lurched forward as it grabbed her by the throat and wrapped around her torso so she was immobile while I dragged her on the ground back to me. Her eyes screamed fear as she tried to escape or probably plead for the lady to help her "What did you say just now bitch." I snarled out as I tightened the grip around her throat, I felt the unseen force once again but it quickly disappeared when I slammed her hard twice in the ground below us, she gasped in pain as I writhed in anger, I lift her to slam the bitch once more but the lady had stopped me "this is a offence done in our coven and therefore she must be punished as the coven sees fits."

I glared heavily at the woman the words she spoke just now sounded like utter bullshit. "Your coven? Your rules? Your punishment? Where was that when this bitch almost killed my mate and my family huh?! Fuck you, fuck her and fuck all your rules I'm gonna skin this slut alive and if you think you're gonna stop me I'll make you second on the list." A guttural growl echoed as I finished my statement the lady eyes wide at what I had just told her "She harmed your mate and family?" The lady asked in disbelief as she stared wide eyed at the slut in my hand "Jemma how dare you, you know the importance of a mate in this world yet still you-!" She cut herself off as she turned her back on the slut. "Do what you will with her she isn't apart of this coven anymore." The lady said her voice firm but I picked up the undertone of sadness and betrayal. Jemma reached her hands out to the lady sputtering as she tried to speak tears rolling down her face as the lady and the rest of the witches got further and further away.

I brought her close to my face as a sickening grin split my face in two "ain't so tough now aren't ya little bitch." I mocked her as she glared at me through the tears in her eyes. She spat a mixture of blood and spit on my cheek causing me to recoil in disgust she smirked at my face but it was quickly wiped off as I flung her towards a tree, a loud crack echoing from her impact. "You nasty bitch." I growled out at her as she stood on shaky feet. Amima cut this bitch down to size. Amima smiled darkly as I let her take control of our body, the slight sting in my eyes told me that my once brown eyes were now pitch black pits, my sharpened elongated teeth teased my lower lip as it grazed over the pink flesh. The slut looked up at us and screamed in shock as she took in our appearance, I took steps closer to her as she tried to back up "st-stay away from me!" She shouted hysterically and in a pathetic attempt to get away she crumpled around herself. "No-no!" Amima brought his hand up, his long black nails glinting under the moon light as he brought it down heavily. I braced for the feeling of nails tearing through skin but it never came as a large black wolf jumped infront of the slut and someone grabbed my hand. Spinning around I saw Sebastian looking at me with concern in his eyes "Calm down Dylan." He said softly as he brought my hand down turning back I saw the slut huddling around the wolf who seems extremely familiar "move." I growled out at it and at first it looked taken aback before he growled lowly. "I won't allow this Dylan." Came the voice of my mate as he shifted into his human form standing stark naked infront of the witch. " won't allow? She tried to fucking kill my family and if they didn't have their wolves I know for sure they would've fucking died and she tried to kill you for fucks sake and you're protecting her?!" I shouted incredulously at him. He shook his head slightly as he took a small step forward "baby you'll regret this when you come to your senses, trust me this anger is blinding you and I know you'll regret it the moment you snap out of this." He said softly as he held out his hands infront of him as if calming a raging dog. Laughter sputtered from our lips as Amima spoke out loud. "Move." He growled out at our mate who stood still at hearing Amima's voice. "Amima don't let the anger control you I know you'll regret it later please." We shook our heads in annoyance as I grabbed Sebastian and hoisted him in the air "you don't fucking know me!" we screamed at him as we threw Sebastian at him they collided into each other with a loud thud, momentarily dazed which I took the opportunity to attack the slut who tried to crawl away. I ran towards her full speed as Amima launched us into the air our right hand raised high to strike her. As I swung my hands down something flash infront of me and the grunt of a male echoed through the forest as my nails sliced against the man's back. I stared in shock and surprise as I looked up at my mate who had used his body to shield the witch. He spun quickly and pushed me hard a few feet back as I tumbled into the arms of Sebastian, I was so shocked as I watched his wounds heal in a second as he picked up the witch and hid her behind his body. My brain couldn't piece together what my eyes were seeing and Amima was even more shook than I was as he went completely rigid. I shook violently as rage, embarrassment and pain took me over. "You'd push your mate away for a slut?!" I shouted at him pain evident in my voice. This got his attention as his gaze softened "baby no I just don't want you to regret what you are about to do." He said as he stepped forward, however he stopped short as the witch latched her hand on his bicep even having the audacity to whimper. "Fuck regret." Amima growled out loudly as we lounged from Sebastian's hold and towards the two.

Dimitri grabbed me as I expected he would and he pushed the slut further away from my hand's reach. I chuckled silently as she wasn't out of reach for Amima though as my hair lashed out and around her neck. She yelped in shock as I squeezed mercilessly with anger, hatred a bit jealousy in my heart "no Dylan, Amima dont!" Dimitri shouted as he tugged us or at least tried to away from the witch only resulted in me dragging her like a horse. She clawed at my hair as it started to move in a snake like motion around the circumference of her neck, the taut sharp strands cutting her skin as blood streamed from her cuts. I squeezed even harder as the loud crack and choked gasp of the slut resonated in the now silent forest. I dropped the limp body on the ground and shook myself free from Dimitri's grip "don't fucking touch or come near me." I snarled at him as I shook out my hair to get the blood from it and made my way back to the hospital, the euphoria I felt after I killed her made me feel complete, no regret, not even an ounce. I could hear and feel Dimitri calling out to me but I remembered how he protected the slut and not side with his mate.

After I had arrived at the hospital, walking through the main lobby people parted like the red sea, gasps the only thing heard as they took in my appearance, ignoring them I went to the front desk where a snobbish blonde sat. "Where are the Webbs?" I demanded, her head was down as she sighed obnoxiously loud then replied "visiting hours are over." She barked out I grabbed her hair and snapped her head back grabbing her throat sinking my nails in the pale skin. She whimpered in fear no doubt of my appearance as I knew Amima was shinning through greatly. She gasped out their room number and the floor they were on and I dropped her walking towards the elevator, stepping in I thanked God that I was the only one. I pressed the third floor button as I sagged against the wall however my relief was short lived as I caught my reflection in the reflective surface of the elevator's doors. My eyes were still pitch black however my once chocolate skin was now a sickly pale color and my face was slowly turning black from my eyes. And honestly I scared myself and wondered if that's why persons where running away from me.



"Amima what's happening to me?" I asked him in slight panic as the black began to spread even further and faster to more my heart palpitate *we need to calm down or else I'm going to take over and it'll be too much stress on your body." He said his voice faint as if he were far away. The elevator dinged and I rushed out running towards one of the two rooms on the floor, the door cracked as it bounces on the wall from the force I opened it with. Inside I saw my family speaking with a man and a woman but they all stopped short and gasped as they took me in "who are you?!" The unknown man bellowed but I paid him no mind as my eyes zeroed in on my father. The need for his warmth great as I desperately ambled towards him "Daddy help me." I pleaded as tears ran down my cheeks he flung himself of the bed tearing the tube attached to his hand in the process as he ran towards me he engulfed me in a hug and I felt myself go limp as his familiar warmth and scent wrapped around me. I curled myself in his arms as he brought us to the bed and laid us down I clung to his shirt as I buried my face in his chest inhaling his scent which calmed my racing heart. I felt Amima pushing foward as he too relished in the warmth of our father. He rubbed our back soothingly as he hummed softly, something he always did when I was upset about something. I drifted to sleep in my father's hold and as the darkness began to pull me under a long loud howl filled with pain and sadness tugged at my heart strings as the sounds followed me into my dreams.
