Chapter Seventeen

Rapunzel's POV

I groaned as someone gently shook my shoulder "Dylan wake up." I opened my eyes to find Dylan looking at me with worried eyes. Huh what's he doing in my house? "You fell asleep and the doctors were trying to wake you for a while now." I sat up straight as I remembered where I was "How are they doing?!" I shouted grabbing onto his collar, a singe of fear ran through his eyes as he stuttered out a reply "they are stable as of now and are resting." I sighed in relief as I slumped back against the wall, thank God they are alright. I got up slowly regret filling my chest as pain shot up my back and limbs, pins and needles had me biting the inside of my cheek as I finally stood straight.

"Luna, it's good to see you awake." A melancholic voice washed through the empty corridor, I stretched my arms above my head as I turned towards the exit *let's find that bitch.* Amima snarled as I let him lead me towards the exit. "L-luna!" Who's this Luna person this man keeps referring to does anyone here looks like the moon "Dylan!" I stopped short and turned to see Dylan staring at me in amusement, I raised a brow in question as the man who I now see is a doctor walked towards me with a grim face "you do know you are the Luna right?" His tone of voice didn't sit well with me and it seems it didn't with Amima either since he grabbed the guy lifting him in the air. The man gasped in shock as my hair crawled itself up and around his throat "watch your tone." I growled out annoyed as I dropped him on the ground "Dylan take care of them for me I have something to take care of." I spoke not even sparing him a glance as I continued on my way. Now where are you witch bitch?

Dimitri's POV

A soft groan escaped my lips as I tried to turn on the ground below me, why am I on the ground? Confusion shroud me as I opened my eyes blinking away away the grainy feel as I slowly focus on the white ceiling above me "Honey he's awake." The soft but firm voice of my father spoke causing me to turn towards him, he was sitting in chair pushed up against my bed as he searched my face. "Sweetie how are you feeling?" Mom came into view as she pushed dad out the way "I'm fine mum." I soothed as I saw the deep worry and concern rolling around in her eyes "Oh thank God, we thought we lost you." She muttered hugging my frame as she sighed in relief. "What happened?" I asked as dad came to help me in a sitting position. "After Jemma came around yesterday you just left, like the real you left." I frowned in confusion as this sounded both weird and new to me. "What do you mean left and weren't the witches not supposed to send over one of their unmated young and foolish slaves?" I asked as my wolf's hackles raised "That's the thing when we left the house -because trust me you're an asshole and under the control of Jemma you were an even bigger asshole- we went to ask the head mistress to ask what it was about and they had no idea that Jemma had left their boundaries." Dad answered as looked ahead a bit angry, I am too who does that slimy slut think she is to put me an Alpha under her influence, how did she even do that I'm mated......."Dylan?! Where is he?!" I shouted as I struggled out the bed Dad put a calming hand on my shoulder as mom looked down sad. "You don't remember do you?" She asked as I feel my wolf howl in pain and discomfort remember? Remember what? "At breakfast he came to speak with you and it seemed Jemma knew that unmated and unmarked wolves can be tricked into thinking that the witch is their mate. There's a potion made by an ancient that when taken orally affects any rank wolf from Alpha to Omega." She finished but gasped loudly as she stared at her husband in shock "She offered to carry out the juice as I gave her Dimitri's coffee at the same time." I growled lowly mostly in annoyance but anger as I tried to remember what happened. As I was about to ask the question the door slammed opened and a frantic Omega came rushing in, he looked around the room until he caught my eyes and ran towards me "You need to find him now!" He shouted as he grabbed my hand and tugged hard, I steeled myself as I pulled back on him he was dragged close to my face as I held his throat "Have you no manners?" I growled out my dominance seeping through my voice however he had not submitted like I expected him to but what he did shook me to the core.

I stared in shock at the omega as the sensation of his hand lingered on my cheek, did he just..? "I don't care what you do to me later but your mate is fucking on the brink of killing someone and I need you to stop him before he comes to his senses and regret it later." The omega said in a firm voice as he glared directly at me, if this was any other time I would've thought he had wanted to challenge me but what he said registered in my brain as I stumbled out the bed and ripped the useless hospital gown off "Honey you're not fully healed and-" I glared at my mum so hard she flinched back into my father. "This is my mate we're talking about, fuck it if I'm sick." I snarled out as I shifted into my massive pitch black wolf and ran out the room and into the busy hospital corridors, ignoring them I ran to main lobby only to screeched to a halt at what beheld me. There were bodies strewn all over the floor, the little nurses that had been saved from whatever did this were rushing around to help the pack members "What happened here?" My voice boomed throughout the pack link as everyone came to a halt and bowed their heads in submission "Alpha." I looked at my beta walking towards me with a slight hunch "Sebastian what the fuck happened?" I questioned as I went to meet him in the middle since his healing was just starting up. "The Luna had wanted to leave but we couldn't let him since your wolf would've needed his presence or contact to aid in the healing process. He was unresponsive at first and just kept walking towards the door mumbling to himself, Connor blocked his path along with some doctors and warriors as they tried to turn him back, he hadn't and just kept moving forward but one of the guys had touched him and pushed him hard and he fell a few feet back and he just looked at them before his hair was all over them, deep gashes here and there, she had done something to them as their wolves wouldn't or couldn't get out and in a last straw as to stop them from stopping him he threw them against any visible surface." I sighed in relief as I realized that he had not killed anyone. I shook my head as I turned towards the door "I can feel the bond stretching and I need to find him before the pain starts." Sebastian nodded as he shifted into his ash grey wolf and trudged behind me. Where are you going little mate?
