Carmine trembled so badly that it was a wonder that she remained standing. A knot formed in her stomach and she curled her arms around herself, mind going numb.

A blond was hanging on his arm, talking animatedly with the group she was with.

uppress her fear. When they were on the balcony, he made her stand against the w and growled. “Do you know my wolf suffered because of you for five years! Now that [ have found you, I am going to drag you back to my pack and chain you to my bed!”

A tear ran down her eye. She hadn’t felt this repulsed by anyone in her life. “You are the same as sh ole,” she said, pulling her arm from his grip. “You are married.”

“So what?” he snarled, taking a step towards her and she started walking backwards. “T told you that time that I would never accept you as my Luna, but you will always remain by my side, give birth to my pups” He sniffed the air surrounding air. “You do smell a little different, though. Have you been whoring?” Provoked as hell, she lifted her hand to slap him, but he caught it in the middle with amusement in his eyes. “You’ve become brave.” He shoved her hand down and lifted a strand of her wavy hair in his hands. Rubbing the golden tips in his hand, he scoffed, “Once this night is over, you are coming back with me. She lowered her voice and said. “The Alpha Supreme is about to come. You better come in fast!” She was going to take care of this situation soon.

Kade nodded. He hated Theo because not only he took over his pack. Theo made him his puppet. And he didn’t know why Theo always kept a close watch on the Blue Moon pack.

He gripped Carmine’s upper arm and pulled her with him inside even as Ruby seethed. “Please don’t do that, Kade,” she requested him, blinking her tears away. “We are in a very prestigious gathering and have to look like a couple in love.”

Kade narrowed his eyes at her. Because of her, Carmine had run away, and he had punished Ruby for that by whipping her. This time, he won’t let her interfere. He leaned over to Carmine and threatened, “Don’t you dare to leave, Carmine. I will watch you the entire time!” His wolf had been extremely restless without her and now that she was here, for the first time in so many years, it was slightly calm.

They all came inside and a wave of dread coursed through. She had to leave instantly, somehow, her thoughts going to her son. Kade stood only a few meters away from her. keeping a watch on her. He smiled and pointed his index finger at the entrance. She followed the direction and her eyes landed on Scarlet. But disbelief rippled through her when she saw Scarlet entering with her fingers intertwined with none other than Theo Wilson. Her breath lodged inside her throat and, though she didn’t know why, her eyes turned misty as her heart stuttered.

The moment Theo entered the main hall, everyone present turned their attention to the Alpha Supreme. They gazed at him with pure awe and respect. But his eyes went to Carmine.
