Chapter 346 I Want Them All

Gwendolyn averted her gaze, refusing to acknowledge him, while a solitary tear trickled down from the corner of her eye, silently seeping into her hair.

What Charles wanted was something she could never give, nor would she ever be able to provide

She would only love Cedrick alone for the rest of her life!

Charles slumped on the side, a mix of tears and laughter escaping him. In his peripheral vision, he glimpsed Gwendolyn reclining on the sofa behind him. A deep crimson bruise marked her once pristine, snow white neck, strikingly conspicuous.

The bruise on her neck was the result of him strangling her.

As his rationality resurfaced, he apologized, "Sorry, Gwen. I didn't mean to hurt you." Filled with remorse, he extended his hand, yearning to touch the red bruise on her neck. Gwendolyn dodged him and turned around.

Charles' fingers momentarily stiffened, but within seconds, his face hardened once more. He firmly grasped her shoulders, compelling her to meet his gaze.

A corner of his lips quirked up. He wanted to see how important Cedrick was in her life.

As she glared at him, Gwendolyn caught a fleeting glimpse of Nico entering through a window nearby.
