I lean against the wall as Demon torture the information out of James with a special smile on his face. That smile is like the one that he gives the boys and me but with a twisted glint in his eyes.

There’s no hint of red in his eyes, Shadow must not have control over Demon.

The human is the vicious beast while the wolf is the one to be merciful.

Mika sighs, “This has gone on long enough. We need to find the boys before the sun comes up.”

“Why what will happen if we don’t find them before?”

Mika shakes her head, “I don’t know but I feel like Demon and Shadow wont ever be the same if they aren’t found by sunrise.”

He turns to me with blood covering his arms and his eyes matching the blood.

“They’re in a pack about twenty-five miles to the west of here.”

I head towards the door, “Then let’s go get our boys back.”

Out the tent I head towards the edge of the territory with Shadow beside me, “The entire pack will be there, Onyx.”

I nod my head, “Okay why is that important?”

“Because I plan to kill everyone there and no one will be spared, no one”

I smirk and look at my devils red eyes, “Just make sure that you leave a few for me to kill as well.”

His eyes changed to black as he looked away and he whispers to himself, “She keeps this up and I’ll marry her.”

I blush a little before I shift into Mika’s body and we run the 25 miles and hear laughter mixed with someone crying softly as if they were trying to hide it.

Demon growls and their fur all stands up making him look feral and dangerous.

Zack and Nathan run towards us with a few others in human form.

Demon has his eyes locked on the pack, searching for the boys. I turn my head towards the others and wait for someone to say something.

Nathan gets on one knee and puts his fist on his chest, “We follow you and Demon as Alphas until the day we die.”

I shift and watched as all the others kneels and repeated what Nathan said.

I raise an eyebrow, “Why? You all know that we know nothing about leading a pack and we never planned to have a pack so why and why now?”

Nathan and Zack look at each other and shrug their shoulders. Zack is the one to speak, “To be honest we don’t know why but when we met, our wolves felt a connection to the both of you almost like how a pack is connected to an alpha. And it just felt right so we all went with it.”

The others nodded to what he said and stared at us waiting.

“We’ll discuss this after getting the boys back and wiping this pack out, understand?”

They all nodded and stood when Demon shifted.

“They’re in there. Alex said that he has a few bruises, but Micky is the one that needs help. Micky is blocking his connection.”

Demon’s voice is calm but his thoughts and emotions are running wild and he has a one track mind to kill anyone that had something to do with this and get the boys to safety.

“They’re in the middle of the territory surrounded by everyone in the pack. That’s why there aren’t any guards to stop us now.”

He looks at me with determined tar pit eyes, “How many are there?”

I listen to the pack and try to figure out how many wolves are in this area minus our wolves, “Based off of what I can hear, there’s more than 100 but less than 150.”

He nods his head but doesn’t turn around to say, “When we murder everyone in this pack we will be hunted no matter if we were in the wrong or not. So do you still want to do this?”

The others nodded and agreed. Demon turned and looked at me, “What about you, mate?”

I saw the fear in his eyes dancing with the worry and anger that was trying to hide the loneliness. The loneliness that he began to when he thought I would run in fear.

That irritated me, “You know that I care for you and the boys. So why the hell do you think I would leave?”

He shrugged, “Maybe because we never talked about this? Or maybe because this changes everything, and you may not be able to handle the change? It’s okay if you want to leave, I won’t blame you.”

I glare at him as my anger boils over, “You’re right we never thought this would happen but it did and now we will get through this TOGETHER. I am not leaving so get that into your head. Now quit fucking doubting my loyalty and lets get our sons.”

I turn my back to him and walk towards the stupid pack of wolves that are going to die today in the slowest way possible.
