Chapter 20 " Dream in the meadows"

Avery P.O.V.

I felt someone behind me and one in front of me. Why did I have one person in front of me and behind me? I am not with anyone. I don't think I am dating someone.

But I felt my eyes are still closed. I opened my eyes and saw one set of blue eyes staring into mine. I saw his lips, but I saw his smile.

I can't see his face; it's blurry, and I know who is before me. They say you dream about your mate or mates.

But in this case, I have two mates. I can feel it. Because one mate is in front of me, and the other is behind me. But the weird thing is I am outside.

It looked familiar because I had been there before. But with who. I gasped when I felt the one guy behind me rubbing my shoulders and kissing back behind my neck.

I felt him nibble and bite me.

I groaned and moaned out his name.

But I didn't hear it. It's like someone is trying to hide it out of my mouth. I mumbled his name.

So, I was lying on my side. Now I see it's the meadow I had been with Elijah Woods: my bully, my childhood crush, and my monster.

I still couldn't believe why I went there with him. Well, in my defense, he did grab me over his shoulders. He made me go with him. I was in my own thoughts when I heard someone say

"Mate." I heard the male voice say in my ear. I gasped, and I woke up. I realized in my bed. How did I get here in my bed? Wasn't I in the woods of waterfalls? Now here I was in my house, in my bedroom.

I was covered up and warm in my bed safely. How did this happen? I was sitting in my bed and looking around when I heard someone say, Mate! But I didn't see anyone around. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

My birthday was coming soon. So, I must be getting close to meeting my mate or mates? I told myself. I was excited and thought about what I knew about them. What if it a guy hated me like Elijah?

What if it's one of his friends? I didn't know what I would do. I hope he wanted me. If not, it broke my heart, and I just died with no mate.

But if I die, I will be with the family that passed before me.

I see all my loved ones.

I would hate to be rejected. But I am my heart.

I know who it is, my mate or mates.

I got this strange feeling it was what the Goddess and God wanted. I hope I am good enough for my mates.

"Shh, You need to stop putting yourself down, "Angelstar said.

"You're going to be enough for our mates. Uh, Huh! So, it is true! We were going to have more than one mate." I asked her. She didn't say anything; she kept quiet.

Oh, okay, Angelstar Two can play that game, I told myself. She just ignored me. She rolled her wolf eyes at me, went back behind my mind, and laid down with one of my mate's wolves. They licked each other's noses and went to sleep. Lucky bitch.

Elijah P.O.V.

"Hey, when do you think she would wake up," I asked Jake.

He was staring out the window in my living room.

We played video games. But he stopped and started looking out the window.

"Now!" I heard him say. I looked at him.

"Let's go then! She needs to know. We are her mates." I spoke.

"No! We can wait, not until her nineteen birthday. She special man."

"But why can she feel us? I know she does." So I told him, and he ignored me, and then I heard him telling me to wait and no.

"We have to be patient with this; we don't want to scare her, do you?" Jake asked me.

I took a deep breath. "No, I don't want to do that to her," I told him.

"Okay then, but we must talk to her parents." He said. So, he got up and started walking out the down. So, I got off the couch and followed him out, and we walked over to the Williams residents.

Jake P.O.V.

I was sitting in Avery's living room. Elijah and I were seated across from her parents. Her parents were one of the BlueHawk Pack's best warriors. So, I didn't want to make them angry. I wanted to be with their daughter, and she was my mate.

So I can't piss them off, so I got to watch what I say to them.

Mrs. Williams got up and went into the kitchen or check on Avery.

"So, boys, what brings you back here again? I want to thank you for bringing my baby girl home safely. I appreciate you, boys." He told us.

I wanted to tell him I was chasing her because I worried about her. I was the one, and Elijah scared her, and she went into her spell with a panic attack.

But he didn't know. I should have known when I smelt Elijah on Avery's body. His scent was on there now. But now, he was saying it was true. So, she was his mate too.

"No problem, sir. You don't have to thank us." I told him with a smile on my face.

"So, boys, you ready for the Friday night game?" He asked me. I am the linebacker, Elijah is the wide receiver, Jayson is the other linebacker, and Eli is our quarterback. So, we are ready. We have been prepared since this summer break.

We are playing our first game Friday night against Frontier Cougars. But for now, I want to make sure Avery is okay and she is important to me. So, I knew she was my mate this morning at school.

But I knew the whole time of our junior year before I came to ask Avery and spoke to her about pretending to be my girlfriend.

So, I grabbed my sister away from my mate before she hurt her. I knew my sister was a fighter.

She was not just a dumb bimbo. She actually can fight.

I didn't want her to hurt Avery. She was not weak, but I knew if she started taking up for herself. Maybe people will respect her. They better start because she will be their new Luna one day.
