NINE-THE HISTORY OF THE BLUE ECLIPSE PACK

Staci POV

After conversing with my mate's and Beta Carter's parents, my mate led us into the castle.

"OH, MY FUCKING GODDESS!" I thought, looking around at everything with Monica beside me.

The massive dining hall was to the right, and next to it was the kitchen; on the left side was a sitting area with a gigantic fireplace, and next to it was the game room, which housed the pool tables, game systems, a large flat-screen TV, arcade games, and a DJ booth for music.

"All of the young kids like to hang out in there; sometimes it gets a little wild," he chuckles and continues on this grand tour he was giving us.

The kitchen was massive, with six refrigerators, two stoves, four ovens, and a vast dining area. I'm guessing they only used the enormous dining hall for special occasions.

"We only use the big dining hall for special occasions, like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other family events," my mate said.

"The second floor is the living quarters for the un-mated warriors and omegas."

"The third floor holds the guest rooms for visiting Alphas, Betas, and other guests, of course."

"The fourth floor is our offices, which have a private gym and a conference room."

"The fifth floor has a massive library, the Pack Hospital, and daycare. We even have in-school sessions for kids who choose to do private schooling."

"The sixth floor belongs to our Gamma Juliano and his family."

"The seventh floor belongs to Beta Carter and his family."

"The top floor belongs to us, my love," I gasped as he explained each floor.

I couldn't believe how massive the castle was. On the inside, it felt very homey and warm. I wondered if the castle had an elevator and chuckled at the thought.

"Antonio, where is your family from?" I heard myself ask my mate; he looked at me as if he knew that question was coming.

"Let's go to my office and talk my love," Antonio said as I followed him to a set of steel doors when I saw him push a button.

They opened up to an elevator. I gasped and chuckled.

"Something amusing you, my love," he said, making me chuckle again.

"I was just wondering if you even had an elevator in this giant place since this castle is eight stories high," I watched him bend over, laughing as we stepped inside the elevator.

He had calmed his laughing phase and pushed a button for the fourth floor. When the elevator lifted, it felt weird, but it quickly disappeared; it was a short ride as we arrived on the fourth floor. I followed my mate out as we walked down a long hallway.

I saw portraits lined up on the walls; one side was for the men, and the other was for the women. I guessed that these were the previous Alphas and Lunas of the pack as I saw portraits of my mate's parents and a few others I didn't recognize, but a few of the men resembled my mate.

As we came upon a door at the end of the hall, my mate turned the knob and pushed the door open; the office was massive; painted in warm colors, had hardwood flooring, a huge desk, a large flat screen tv on the right side of the wall, bookshelves lined the other side of the office. In addition, it had at least three couches on each side of the walls.

Antonio POV

As Staci was admiring my office, I sat at my desk and motioned my mate to join me; she came around my desk and sat on my lap.

"So, a history lesson it is, then," I saw my mate roll her eyes and chuckle at my silliness.

"So, Staci, I saw you noticed most of my pack is mixed, right?" Staci nodded and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Well, my family is from Manaus, Brazil," I heard her gasp as she nodded for me to continue.

"The language you heard me speak to my parents earlier was Portuguese," I told Staci as she blushed.

"It was quite sexy," Staci said, nodding for me to continue.

"So, my Father wasn't always an Alpha even though he comes from an Alpha family; he's the youngest son of my Grandfather Adonis Silva; my Father's older brother Helio became Alpha of my family's pack," I watched her as she listened intently.

"So even though my Father knew he wasn't going to be Alpha, he wanted to travel and see the world, but fate had other plans. See, my Grandfather also had a brother named Ricardo."

"This is where things take a turn; my Uncle wanted to find his mate, and when he turned 18 and couldn't sense her, he left our family's pack to look for her."

"He came to the States and moved to California for a year while he was out shopping. He just so happened to bump into her. She was an Alpha's daughter from," I paused to ensure Staci kept up with me.

"Can you guess which pack, love?" she chuckled.

"Blue Eclipse baby," Staci said, kissing the tip of my nose as I nodded.

"Ok, so where does your Dad fit into this?" Staci asked eagerly, making me chuckle.

"I'm getting to that, babe. Well, my Uncle and his mate had four daughters and no sons, and his mate's Father had no sons either, so my Uncle called my Father up and asked him to come to the States to take over the pack; my Father was hesitant at first, but he eventually put his dreams aside and become Alpha of Blue Eclipse at the age of 18," I said as Staci's eyes widened.

"So, what about your family in Manaus?" I heard Staci ask me.

"Well, to be honest, my Uncle Helio is an asshole, and all my cousins are spoiled brats; he has five daughters," I chuckled to myself.

"I think he's jealous of my Father because my Father and Mother had three boys, I have two younger brothers," I heard Staci let out a light gasp.

"My Father would always tell me how Uncle Helio would pick on him and tell him he would never be Alpha just because he's the younger brother; he always used to say the moon goddess has a sick sense of humor too," I pause and think about the stories my Father told my brothers and me growing up.

"I guess that's why Uncle Helio only has daughters," I continued as Staci listened.

"So, most of the pack members here are from your Uncle's pack?" Staci asked.

"Yes, babe, he ran my family's pack into the ground once because he was not with his fated mate but took a chosen mate."

"Two, all of my cousins are all mated to dumb-ass Alphas or Betas."

"Three, my Grandmother is hoping once my brother Acilio graduates high school, he'll move and take over the pack," I told Staci, praying that my brother doesn't want that headache my Uncle started.

"What about your youngest brother, babe?" Staci asks as she runs her fingers through my hair.

"Hmm, well, Adriel is only 15, but he said he wanted to travel, so we'll see," I said, smiling as Ares purrs.

"Carter's and Juliano's families came over with my Father; that's how our families are so close," I said as Staci smiled.

Staci POV

After hearing Antonio talk about his family's history, I realized he and his family went through a lot to get where they are today; it just makes him much more impressive. I sigh, just staring dreamily into his eyes.

"My love, what's your full name?" I heard my mate ask me.

"Staci Marie babe, why?" I asked, curious to know what Antonio was up to.

"I, Antonio Gabriel Silva, accept you, Staci Marie Blackwind, as my mate and Luna," I gasped and greedily kissed my mate's petal-soft lips.

My mate accepted me; after everything that was going on with Grayson, we hadn't officially accepted each other.

"Goddess damn!" I thought as Solaris howled happily.

"I, Staci Marie Blackwind, accept you, Antonio Gabriel Silva, as my mate and Alpha," I said the words eagerly after we pulled apart, and Antonio growled seductively.

"Mmm fuck," I moaned and felt something hard pressed against my side.

I kissed Antonio again and felt him lick my lip as I gasped, and he slid his tongue into my mouth; it wasn't long before I was a moaning mess and running my hands through his soft waves, loving the way he tasted the kiss was hungry and full passion Solaris was purring and howling in my head. When Antonio pulled back as we both gasped for air, he looked deep into my eyes; I saw his desire and lust for me; it made my core weep.

"Oh, My Goddess," I moaned.

"Come with me now," my mate growled as he took my hand and led me out of his office.
