EIGHT-WELCOME TO THE BLUE ECLIPSE PACK

Staci POV

As we drove toward the Blue Eclipse pack, I looked at my mate and noticed he was deep in thought, so I reached my hand over and grabbed his, feeling the sparks of our bond course through me; he looked over and gave me that million-dollar megawatt smile.

"Antonio, what's your wolf's name?" I suddenly asked my mate.

"His name is Ares, love, and he's completely smitten with you," Antonio said, making me blush and Solaris purr.

"What's your wolf's name, my love?" I heard him ask me.

"Oh, it's Solaris, honey," I smiled.

"Beautiful name for a beautiful wolf," I heard him say.

Solaris was purring and howling at our mate's comment.

"We should go on a run with mate, babe; I would love to see that fine piece of wolf of his," I chuckled as my mate looked over me, confused.

"Sorry, Solaris was saying something about running with your wolf," I told my mate.

I watched him chuckle, which brought a smile to my face.

"I'm glad Ares is making your wolf all giddy, my love," Antonio said and smiled.

"Goddess, this man," I thought I hadn't noticed that we pulled up to a big iron gate with a guard post next to it, and one of the guards stepped out to greet his Alpha and Beta.

"Welcome back, Alpha Silva and Beta Hernandes," the guard said.

"Hmmm, Silva and Hernandes?" I tapped Monica on the shoulder, and all she did was shrug, too.

From our conversation last night, I knew Antonio's last name was Silva, but it made me wonder where he was from. Our mates nodded to the guards as we proceeded to the gates.

As we drove through the pack lands, I couldn't help but be amazed at how beautiful it was; the land was lush and green, full of trees, crystal blue lakes, and ponds. I also noticed how cute the pack members' houses were painted in royal blue, whites, and grays, I'm guessing for the pack colors.

"Antonio, how many pack members live in the pack?" I asked my mate as he looked at me.

"Just over five thousand, babe; why?" I gasped.

"Holy moon goddess!" my mate's pack was huge, I thought with my hand over my mouth.

I also noticed many members were mixed; some were tan-skinned, and some were white-skinned; it made me wonder where my mate's family was from now; I would have to ask him that later.

As the packhouse came into view, I noticed it wasn't a packhouse but a fucking castle.

"WHAT THE FUCK!" I yelled, heard my mate laugh at my expression, and scowled at him.

"What's so funny, Antonio?" I asked with a low growl.

"Your face and Monica's love," Antonio said.

I looked over and saw Monica with the same expression I did, with her mouth hanging open. The castle was at least eight stories high, painted white with royal blue and gray trim. A flourishing garden surrounded it, with a giant fountain in the center. A wolf statue howled at the moon in the fountain's center as water flowed from different sprinklers. I was amazed at the pack I now call my home.

"We have koi fish in the fountain," Antonio said as I smiled.

"Welcome to the Blue Eclipse pack, my love," I looked over and heard my mate say as we got out of the SUV.

The omegas were already taking out our bags and taking them inside the castle. My mate took my arm. As we walked up, I saw two couples standing on the castle's stairs. The first couple radiated power. I assumed these were my mate's parents. The older gentleman looked precisely like my mate except for his eyes, which were dark blue. He had light tan skin and short jet-black curly hair, whereas my mate's hair was wavy. He was about 6'5 in height, with solid muscle.

The lady to his left was about my height with long brunette hair, beautiful sun-kissed skin, and deep forest-green eyes. She had a gentle smile, and I knew this was Antonio's Mother; they shared the same nose and plump lips.

The other couple I assumed was Carter's parents; he was a mix of both his parents; his Dad was a tall man about 6'3 in height, with the same golden eyes as Carter, with light brown short hair and lighted tanned skin; his mate is a woman of 5'6 height had long curly blonde hair, deep blue eyes, and sun-kissed skin.

Before I could say anything, I heard my mate speak a language I'd never heard before to his parents, and I just looked at him as I tried not to jump him in front of his parents.

"Goddess, that accent of his is sexy as fuck," I thought as I squeezed my legs together.

Antonio POV

"Olá pai, olá mãe, como você está?" (Hello Dad, hello Mom, how are you?). I said to my parents, who smiled as they looked at my mate.

"Oh, Este é meu companheiro Staci," (Oh, this is my mate Staci). I told my parents, and I could feel Staci's eyes on me, probably wondering what the hell I had just said.

After years of living in the States, you would think my Father would've considered speaking English to be natural to him. But I still talk in Portuguese to appease his better nature.

"My love, this is my Father, Aquila Silva, and my Mother, Evelyn Silva," I said to my beautiful mate as she looked at me all flustered.

Staci probably didn't know I spoke Portuguese, then again. We haven't gotten to the point of telling each other anything about ourselves, but all that is about to change soon.

Staci POV

As I was not trying to eye fuck my mate in front of his parents, I came up to them to introduce myself.

"Hello, Alpha and Luna Silva; my name is Staci Blackwind, daughter of Alpha Brady and Luna Grace Blackwind, and I'm from Crescent Moon pack along with my friend over there, Monica," I pointed to my best friend, who waved awkwardly as she continued her conversation with her mate's parents.

"Oh, hush now, child. You can call me Aquila or Pai (Father); none of that Alpha stuff I've longed for since retiring and giving that piece of a headache to my Filho (Son)," I smiled gently at him.

"Ok, Aquila," I said and smiled.

"You can call me Evelyn or Mama, my dear; now that you're here, my Luna duties will pass to you," Evelyn said as she gently patted my cheek.

"Oh goddess, my Filho (Son), she's beautiful and so sweet," my mate's Mother said, and I instantly blushed at her comment.

I was surprised when his Mother reached out and hugged me while his Father gave my hand a gentle kiss like the gentleman he is; I was instantly smitten with his parents.

I loved them already; they reminded me a lot of my parents.

"Mother, I was thinking of having a ceremony soon for Staci and her friend Monica to introduce them to the pack as the Luna and Beta Female," I heard my mate tell his Mother.

Antonio POV

"Of course, my Filho (Son), I'll organize everything for you kids; don't worry about a thing," she winked at us.

As we conversed, my Gamma Juliano ran up to us and bowed.

"Alpha, Beta, sorry I'm late. Marcelo ran training late again. Is this our new Luna and Beta Female?" my Gamma asked me. I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, Juliano, this is my mate, Staci Blackwind, and Carter's mate, Monica Davis," I said as he smiled widely.

"It is a pleasure to meet you both, Luna Blackwind and Beta Female Davis." I watch as my Gamma steps forward to his Luna, kneels before her, and grabs her hand.

"Luna Staci, it is my greatest honor to be your protector when my Alpha is absent from your presence," I growled as Juliano held Staci's hand, making Ares uneasy.

I had to rein Ares in before he lost his shit and ripped into our Gamma.

"Ok, Juliano, you can get up now; we will do your protector bond with Staci when we have her Luna ceremony," I watch the smile spread across his face as he beams with pride.

"Thank you, Alpha. I promise I won't fail you," I watch him bow to us as he runs wherever and return my focus to my mate and parents.

Staci POV

"So that was his Gamma Juliano. He freaked me out a little," I thought as I watched the Gamma leave.

I couldn't help but notice, although a bit weird, he was also handsome, 6'2 tall, built like a bodybuilder, with light tan skin, chocolate brown eyes, and short jet-black hair.

Juliano

"Are all the men in this pack some goddess damn eye candy?" I thought as Solaris growled and told me to focus on Antonio.

Deep in my thoughts, I couldn't help but admire how well Antonio ran his pack every minute that passed; being here with him makes me love it more and more. I can't wait to see what the future holds for us.
