"Adriel!" Evelyn shouted.

"Family!" Adriel shouted.

"Is that my nephew," Adriel peeked inside the bassinet as Ace slept.

Adriel sat beside Acilio and started stuffing his face. Adriel looked up and smiled at everyone when his eyes landed on Staci, and they widened as big as saucers.

"Staci, meet the jokester of the family and my kid brother. Adriel," I said as Staci smiled and waved at my brother.

Adriel waved back and smiled as he continued eating his breakfast. He told us about his studies and Paris's attractions to kids his age. Our Parents pay for his education, and Adriel is intelligent. He gets into a lot of mischief.

"The game is coming on at twelve," Adriel says as he gulps his orange juice.

Like most of us, Adriel was a big football, basketball, and soccer fan. The guys started placing their bets on the game, and of course, I was the money holder.

I gave the money to Staci, and she smiled. We finished breakfast and helped our Moms clean up. After we finished, Staci and I grabbed Ace's stroller and took him for an afternoon walk around the territory.

The un-mated warriors like Rafael and Alphons ensured patrol rotations were in formation as we walked the pathway around the castle and into the forest. The weather was cold outside as Staci bundled Ace in his stroller.

Staci and I returned to the castle after an eventful afternoon walk. Once we entered, I could smell our Mothers cooking Thanksgiving dinner, and the guys were preparing the family room for the game. Staci called her family to wish them a happy Thanksgiving while she got ready to feed a fussy Ace.

"Will you two knock it off," Mom came in with drinks and fussed at my brothers.

I saw Staci stretching her hand out and pointing at the vase.

"What the fuck?" Adriel said.

"Adriel! Language," Mom shouted and walked over to pick up the vase.

Everyone looked at Staci, stunned, as she stared back at them. The same question ran through their minds: Staci had a new power. Of course, Adriel was wondering what was happening.

Staci and I filled Adriel in like we did Acilio when he discovered Staci had powers. Staci explained that her new ability was to freeze objects. Staci explained that the goddess admitted she would have multiple powers, but this was at the next level.

After getting over the shock of discovering Staci had a new power, our Moms finished Thanksgiving dinner. We had turkey, sweet ham, cornbread dressing, vegetable casserole, broccoli and cheese rice, scallop potatoes, rolls, strawberry shortcake, and chocolate velvet cake. We sat in the family room and watched the games, and the night was filled with laughter and family fun.
