“I like the chase and you are exactly giving me that, Wife!” 

Xylia’s heart was thudding loudly which Theodore could hear clearly without any doubt. She stiffened. 

She knew He liked the chase, He always did. She grabbed a few deep breaths to calm herself down and slowly turned around, knowing that there was no way out from his eyes now. 

“But…” He took demanding steps towards her, Xylia looked at him and a cold shiver ran down her spine seeing his stiff eyes, “…It should be stopped now. Don’t you think so?” He smiled coldly but Xylia knew exactly what 

was behind that smile. 

“Theo…dore!” She managed to utter and stepped back as He reached near her, putting her body on the edge of panic attack by his dark emitting aura. 

“It’s good that you still remember my name, but I doubt…” Theodore cornered her at the side of some car in the basement. Xylia leaned back, hugging herself in fear. 

“Do you still remember what I am, My little human?” 

Xylia’s breath hitched as He snuck his hand around her neck, pulling her forward and holding her in a possessive hold. Xylia let out a cry in fear but Theodore’s chest puffed in overwhelming emotion as He touched his mate after four fucking years. 

The ecstasy and spark He felt was out of this world and He would never want to be deprived of this again even if He had to put this world on an ugly bloodbath. 

Xylia lowered her eyes not meeting his dark gaze whereas Theodore was still cherishing the moment of their proximity. It was different from when He first touched her. Maybe because now she was his mate or because of their separation. He caressed her nape, making her body break into dread. 

His hand slid in front before Theodore squeezed her mouth by holding her jaws and jerked her face before ordering, “Look into my eyes, Xylia Lockheed!” His calm yet deep’voice forced Xylia to look at him and every old memory she had with him flashed before her eyes like a movie. Tears gathered in her hazel brown eyes in 

seconds.

betraying me? Are you still hunting your next prey or you have already trapped a new fish?” He was calm, too calm to her liking. But His stiff smirk made Xylia sob openly. The void look He was giving her chilled her to bones because He was not the same husband who used to look at her softly before. He had changed completely. 

“Theodore, please leave…me. It hurts!” She uttered, trying to get her face out of his grip but He tightened it more. She winced and her hands caught his wrist to release herself. 

“This small grip is hurting you but what about the despair you bestowed upon me, hmm?” He growled and jerked her face up to see her neck cleaned of any marks. 

Thor sighed in big relief knowing she was not claimed by anyone because seeing Nathan He knew that man was Alpha blood in whom’s eyes Theodore saw desire for Xylia. 

“Have you 

fucked him?” He asked in a growl before pulling her close to his hard body. He wanted to know to which extent they had developed their relationship but this mere thought burned his body into a frenzy. To calm his inner beast, He put his face into his mate’s neck. Her sweet intoxicating scent allured him to reclaim her again but Theodore suppressed his desire. For now! 

“I want Mate!” Thor demanded eagerly. 

“No! Don’t forget what she did to us?‘ Theodore clenched his jaws in anger at his Lycan beast. 

“I don’t give a fuck. We can deal with it later. I want her right now!‘ Thor growled and snuggled Xyllia’s neck more, rubbing his nose into her skin, sniffing her scent to his content and purring. 

Xylia’s eyes widened when she felt Theodore sniffing her and she gasped loudly when He licked the soft spot on her neck. Her body reacted opposite of her thoughts. Every nerve of her body got excited at his proximity which suppressed her fear and which she didn’t like. 

But she was stupefied as she never witnessed Theodore like this before. He never showed this obsessive behaviour towards her before when they were together but again she never knew him deeply to know his fes or dislikes as most of the times He used to push her away from himself. 

But what happened to him now? Her hands shivered anticipating his next move when she felt him nipping her skin. 

“Theo…No please! don’t do it.” She stuttered. Even though Xylia unknowingly felt his predicament to mark her but she didn’t want him to mark ber anymore though she couldn’t ignore the elation she felt when Theadore sucked her neck eagerly and sniffed her scent again and again to calm his raging nerves.

Though He was restraining himself from touching her but his lycan was forcing him to be close to her. 

“Why? Are you afraid that your fucker boy will loose his chance now?” He snarled and Xylia looked at him shocked. Even though Nathan was her mate but he never imposed his right on her because he respected her wish. But She couldn’t believe Theodore still thought about her so low. 

She smiled bitterly at him. “What more I can expect from you, Theodore. You are still the same. Cold–hearted. beast.” 

Theodore gave her a disdainful look as his stormy eyes darkened. He clutched her neck and got to her face. “You don’t get to tell me what to do, your punishment is still pending, little human. You think I wouldn’t find you ever. That’s why you are still living like a whore to lure men around you, hmm?” He smirked, looking down at her dress. 

Xylia closed her eyes to calm her anger. She knew it was useless to expect any empathy from him. 

Theodore tilted his head and stared at his mate intensely. He still couldn’t believe this human girl would play him like this. Xylia’s mind was still pondering over what to do. 

“Who is he?” Though Theodore knew he was Lewis Elrod’s son but He wanted to know what he was to Xylia from her mouth. 

Xylia shook her head at him and let out a deep breath before shoving his hand away. 

“You rejected me, Remember? I Am not your mate anymore so I don’t deserve your punishment when you decided not to listen to my pleas when I begged you years ago..” Xylia screeched suddenly. She was angry with herself for still getting affected by his touch. Her chest was heaving, exploding with emotions as her past suddenly suffocated her. 

“I Am not your property anymore, Theodore Lockheed. You killed my father so you can do anything with anyone without giving a second thought. You are a heartless beast, Theodore. But now I have no weakness, so I’m hot obliged to stay with you. I don’t even know if you had killed my mother too.” Xylia chuckled, recalling her good for nothing parents who sold her to this heartless beast. But now she doesn’t care about anyone anymore but just her son. This only thought gave her power to fight her husband. 

She pushed him on his chest and Theodore willingly stepped back, getting slightly taken off by her outburst. The girl who never raised her voice at anyone, was rebelling the Lycan king. 

“So you also don’t get to tell me what to do. I’m happy without you and enjoying my life. You should also be

So why are you back?” She almost shouted. Although Xylia was not happy with this life, but she was afraid that He would get to know about Thunder. And 

she won’t risk this.

So she was feigning her courage. First thing She would do after getting out of there was to leave the damn city. Theodore found her, it would take him only a few minutes to know about their son’s existence and then only the 

moon goddess knows what He will do. 

“Just leave me alone, Theodore.” She said and walked out of there towards the elevator to see Nathan. She 

wanted to run from there as soon as possible. 

Theodore closed his eyes and curled his neck to left and right. Thor growled inside his head before He opened his eyes which were pitch back including its sclera. She not only Irate Theodore but Thor too who roared, 

“Take one more step ahead and see the consequences, MATE!”
