Xylia looked at him with a calm face but from inside she was fluttering. Why was He trying to humiliate her in front of others? She awkwardly looked at Nathan for escape. 

“Mr Lockheed?” Nathan grabbed his attention who was looking at Xylia unblinking like waiting for her response. Nathan didn’t like his nonstop gaze at her even a bit, the way He was staring at Xylia bothered him badly. 

Theodore smirked, looked at his hand and stepped back. “I Am seeing a human assistant for the first time for an Alpha, Mr Elrod. That’s why I was just curious if she knew me too!” He smoothly twisted his words and observed how Nathan was addressing him in a formal way around his office wall. So He did the same. He had no intention to give any respect to the people without any means. 

Theodore saw how Xylia gulped her saliva through her thin slender neck and it enticed him. But Nathan pressed his lips tightly not liking the way Theodore was involving her in his curiosity. 

“Lia is well educated about the werewolves and perfect in her profession, Mr Lockheed. May we proceed?” He gestured to him for the seats, not showing interest in discussing any other topic than business. 

Theodore nodded. “Interesting!” He levelled his eyes at her before walking to his seat. So now she had become fearless among werewolves and mingled with them openly but showed disdain towards his touch. Thor snorted inside him. The hell He will let her stay there for long. He was already liking his game to torture her. 

“That’s why your father chose her beside you for this project, she must be extraordinary then.” He commented. 

Xylia flared her nose and slumped her shoulders before going back to her seat beside Nathan. 

“Exactly! Shall we start?” Nathan asked him and Theodore beckoned him with his hand to proceed. 

Xylia was minding her own business as Nathan was explaining to him about the newly launched firm. But she could feel his intense gaze making holes in her head as she kept reading the file in her hand to divert her mind. Theodore was sitting opposite of her and in the middle was the grand table separating them. 

“Xylla, pass the printout of your interior designs.” Nathan asked Her to show them the design for selection. Xylia looked up, startled and nodded hurriedly. She gathered the printouts and handed them over to him but he instructed her to give them to their clients. 

“Lia prepared the interior designs herself, please take a look if you like them. She had a creative approach to

Xylia blinked twice, now she had to go near him to show him the designs which she didn’t want to. But it was her duty, so shrugging her clothes. She walked towards him to place the articles in front of him, avoiding any physical contact with him. She stopped her breathing not to let his musky scent affect her senses. Xylia knew this man had planned this wicked game with her. 

“It would be better to see them on a digital screen, Mr Elrod.” Theodore let out immediately before she could leave. Nathan nodded at Xylia who clenched her jaws. He passed the pen drive to her. 

“Start it on the screen in front of Mr Lockheed.” 

The laptop screen was placed in front of everyone on the table to get the overview of the whole plan and Xylia had one pen drive to show the content. She was totally pissed off. She thought to share the screen from her laptop but now she had to do it on his screen first. Her highness! The mighty Lycan king. 

Xylia closed her eyes, grabbing a long breath and his intoxicated scent tickled her nose. It was exciting her body. in a way which she hated. 

With a sour face, Xylia attached the pen drive to the screen near him while bending down. Theodore looked at Nathan who was talking to his beta about something. 

“What have you given him in return for this position, Love? He seemed to be guarding you everywhere!” Theodore asked tauntingly and sinisterly smiled as He felt the angry fog erupting from Xylia’s body. He always pointed a finger at Xylia’s character for which she hated him the most. She slightly looked at him and threw an 

incensed look.. 

But she kept silent as she didn’t want to create a scene there, disclosing herself and getting punished by the Lycan king because she knew how much power He holds on every one of them. 

Theodore neared his face towards her sniffing her sweet fresh scent and Xylia tensed. She was worried about his sanity around her. Because that man can do anything with her anywhere. 

“Mate is delectable!” Thor mused. 

Theodore hummed looking at her milky slender neck and the half–side view of her bosom from her first two- opened buttoned shirt. His jaws locked as He imagined her working with that Alpha in his office. How dare she? 

He wanted to kill Nathan for being close to her every fucking day. Xylia lifted her front body slightly when she felt

his gaze on her. Theodore didn’t like it but it made his Lycan crazy.

Theodore smirked slightly, guessing Thor’s idea. He was drinking her beauty from close and kept sniffing her alluring scent. Xylia stiffened, her lips quivered but her fingers ran fast on the keyboard to get over it. After the screen was all set she sighed in relief. 

“Alright. Everything is set now.” she cleared her throat with a fake smile at them. Nathan nodded and started giving detail further opening his laptop as well. Xylia gave Theodore a sharp glare for a second before turning 

around. 

But as she put two steps ahead, she stumbled over something and a gasp left her mouth as she directly landed on Theodore’s lap. She let out a small scream when Theodore squeezed her into his arms tightly, feeling her body. 

“Fuck! I missed her.” Thor rasped. 

“Lia..” Nathan abruptly stood up with a mad face. Xylia nervously looked at herself in that position and her face flushed. 

“Oh..iam, iam sorry.” She breathed out with widened eyes. She didn’t know to whom she apologised, Nathan or Theodore but it felt embarrassing and wrong to her. 

Theodore felt her soft body against his hard one and cursed under his breath. How much He craved her? His hungry lycan was convincing him to just snatch her out of these useless Swines and never let her go out of his sight. 

His hands caressed her waist sensually and Xylia stiffened. She tried to stand up but his iron–like grip didn’t even let her move a bit. Xylia nervously looked into his eyes and recognized the golden waves in his silver orbs. Her heart palpitated at this. Was He angry at her? 

Xylia fought his hold and Lycan groaned lightly. “Don’t move, Xylia. You are enticing Thor badly.” He gritted in her ear and she paused her movements, horrified as she understood his words. And then She felt a hard thing poking on the back of her thigh. Xylia wet her lips, sweating badly. She started shaking in shame, 

embarrassment and anger. 

Theodore took a few deep breaths to calm his inner beast but was enjoying her proximity as well. Staying away from her was becoming impossible for him now ever since He found her.
