“Lia!” Hansley called her friend who stupidly looked at both of them. How come the people from her past had been showing up suddenly. Dr Regina smiled at her and gestured to her to take a seat. 

“It’s good to finally see you, Ms Cortez.” Dr Regina said and Xylia wet her lips, today another shock greeted her after Theodore’s entry into her life. And it was making her more troubled. 

If Dr Regina is sent by him? Did He get to know about Thunder already? He is a lycan king after all, who can do anything. Xylia thought horrified and shifted on the chair uncomfortably. 

“So Dr Volkov, could you tell us what these reports say?” Hansley asked her. Dr Regina nodded and looked at Xylia who slowly shook her head at her, pleading with her eyes not to disclose her old records. 

“Hey Little Prince, Come here!” Dr Regina instead, cooed at Thunder who silently looked at his mother for approval. Xylia reluctantly nodded at him. 

He walked to the lady doctor who looked into his silver eyes and rubbed her thumb under his ear, Same eyes, same attitude. She was thrilled to meet the Heir of the Lycan king. Now she got it why! When his blood sample was sent to her, she immediately recognized the powerful DNA in it. And why not? He was the royal blood of the Lockheed family. But unfortunately a curse too. 

“You are such an incredible child!” 

“Dr, am I sick?” Thunder asked nonchalantly and Hansley puffed her cheeks. 

“He is going to eat her mind now!” She muttered in Xylia’s ear. Xylia closed her eyes and sighing, praying to the Goddess for her son’s well–being. 

Dr Regina stared at him in wonder and chuckled before shaking her head. Like father, like son. Serious and Straight forward! 

“No you are not, how a strong prince can be sick. It’s just an infection that we will kick out of your system. Nothing else.” she smiled at him before patting his soft cheek. 

“But I hate those colourful tablets. Don’t give me any capsules.” He didn’t hesitate to show his disgust in the 

medication.

“Alright! I won’t prescribe any capsules to you. Do you like sports?” She asked with enthusiasm. He nodded and she turned to Hansley. 

“Hansley, could you take him out for a play, we have a basketball ground out there. Till then I would like to talk to Ms Cortez!” Hansley took the message Dr Regina gave her with her eyes and Hansley walked Thunder out. 

Once they were gone, Xylia worriedly looked at the lady doctor who smiled at her politely. “How are you Xylia?” 

Xylia’s eyes warmed up as she shook her head. “Please don’t tell me He sent you…‘ 

“I was banished from the Lunar guardian kingdom, Shortly after your escape, Xylia so no, nobody sent me.” 

Xylia blinked at her in shock. “You what? Why?” She was shocked to hear this. Why would Theodore banish the talented healer out of his packdom? 

“Because someone stole the magical and exclusive potion from the infirmary. I was in–charge there and for being negligent, the King banished me.” She said and Xylia frowned thinking He kicked her because of that potion. 

“That so unfair…” 

“I guess someone got her hands onto that to help someone to hide their scent and run away which damaged 

King more than anything.” Dr Regina levelled her eyes to Xylia whose own eyes widened. Sarah helped her with 

that potion to hide her scent. 

So because of Xylia, Dr Regina was punished. 

“I…am sorry. I didn’t know. I Am really sorry..” Xylia felt remorseful for this. 

“At least He didn’t kill me.” Dr Regina shrugged her shoulders. But Xylia couldn’t help but ask eagerly, “If Sarah is alright?” 

Dr Regina raised her eyebrows and smirked, “So my doubt was right. Sarah helped you, didn’t she? She also begged me not to reveal your truth. But I never imagined you both were planning to escape.” 

“She…she too escaped?” 

“Well! I don’t know. As I said I was kicked out right after you.” 

Xylia nodded, feeling utterly guilty for putting both of them into trouble. She just hoped Sarah was fine.

“Thank you so much, Dr Regina, for not revealing my secret then. And I really apologise for your loss.” Xylia said dejectedly. 

“I didn’t do that only for you, Xylia. Even though I wanted to tell the King as I had no intention of keeping him in the dark. But again I didn’t want him to hurt you in his rage, which in return could hurt his own blood inside you. I knew the baby was his but the situation was not right to tell him the news. You had no idea how wild He turned after you ran away, Xylia. He killed all the guards who were patrolling the border that night. He banished me out of the packdom and still 1 kept my silence because if He got to know that you were pregnant, your punishment would have been unimaginable, Xylia. I know how Theodore’s mind works.” 

Xylia was shaking all over, her body turned cold as She cupped her throat when Theodore’s words rang in her ears repeatedly. 

She was flabbergasted upon hearing that He killed his people. For a second, she thought what if she hadn’t run away or waited for a day to tell her pregnancy to Theodore? After all, Dr Regina would have also proved It was his baby. Would He have believed her? 

‘And would it have cleared you out of the blame thrown upon you?‘ her mind shook and poked her. 

Xylis sighed. No, she didn’t have a way to prove her innocence for that. The situation was so messed up at that time and she hadn’t any idea who trapped her then. But whatever she did, she did right. She saved her child. 

But I’m happy you could make it, Xylia. Thunder is a very intelligent boy.” Dr Regina smiled at her. Xylia looked up at her and returned the smile. 

“You won’t tell Theodore about his existence, right? Xylia asked hopefully. Dr Regina tilted her head in 

confusion. 

“I mean, I know I shouldn’t have kept Thunder away from his father but I don’t know what to do anymore. And to tell him, I’m unsure about this. What if He snatch Thunder from me or worse hurt him. He still thinks ! betrayed him but I didn’t. It was schemed by someone else. I swear, I didn’t do anything.” Xylia’s voice shook as the fear of losing Thunder rooted inside her. 

“Xylia, don’t panic. I won’t tell him about Thunder, You or anything I have no connection with that Packdom and you also shouldn’t think about this. He is far..” 

“But He is back. He is here..” Xylia interrupted her, almost screeching. Or Regina looked at her flushed face. 

“He already saw me. He met me..and He warned me.” Xylia rubbed her face as tension hit her cold body.

Dr. Regina kept silent at this. She wondered if Theodore knew all about this. She asked her carefully, “Did He 

know about Thunder?” Xylia’s eyes numbed as she shook her head. 

“I don’t think so…and I don’t want him to know.” She murmured. Dr Regina looked at Xylia’s face calculating her state. She didn’t know how to explain this to Xylia but she knew it was necessary to tell her. If she wanted her 

son to be safe, she had to do this. 

But listening to her next statement, Xylia froze and her soul shook hard. 

“But it’s time to tell him the truth, Xylia, because He is the only one who can save Thunder, his son from dying.”
