Chapter 13: A New Evil Friend

Princess Mary is upset with Jane, whom she believed to be her friend. To calm herself down, Princess Mary decides to go to a bar and have a drink. Additionally, she hopes to meet someone there. Surprisingly, the witch Felicity is also present at the bar and notices Princess Mary. Felicity is curious about why a princess would be in such a place and devises a plan to ruin the royal family, enlisting Princess Mary’s assistance. However, once Felicity is finished with her scheme, she intends to harm Princess Mary as well.

Princess Mary noticed a woman’s gaze on her and grew angry.

“What are you staring at? Do you not have anything better to do?!” she snapped.

The woman, named Felicity, quickly apologized and complimented the princess. “I didn’t mean to offend you. I was just admiring your beauty. It’s not often one sees a princess in a place like this,” she said.

Princess Mary explained that she didn’t want anyone to recognize her and needed a drink to calm her nerves. Felicity empathized with her and revealed that she too was there for the same reason.

“Would you like to form a friendship?” Felicity asked kindly, noticing that Princess Mary seemed in need of one.

Princess Mary hesitated, unsure.

“I’m not asking you to come to my house. We can meet here and talk. My name is Felicity,” Felicity introduced herself.

Curiously, Princess Mary asked, “Are you the witch that the police are searching for?”

Felicity defended herself, claiming she had been framed. She offered to help Princess Mary in destroying her enemies and even becoming queen. Princess Mary, however, expressed her reluctance to overthrow her brother but admitted she wouldn’t mind causing harm to her sister Elizabeth and Elizabeth’s mother.

Princess Mary found solace in having a companion who truly comprehended her. With this newfound ally, Princess Mary now had assistance in her mission to undermine Anne, Elizabeth, and her soon-to-be stepmother Catherine. Felicity chuckled to herself, lost in her thoughts. Helen entered her mother’s room, gliding in gracefully.

“What are you plotting, Mom?” Helen inquired.

“Princess Mary is going to aid me in dismantling the royal family, and once they are destroyed, I will turn on Princess Mary herself. That girl is incredibly naive. She believes I actually care about her!” Felicity responded, laughing. Helen joined her mother in laughter.

Jessica, Anne, and Edward were now 14 years old and attending high school. Edward had a large circle of friends. Edward had developed feelings for Jessica, but Jane, his mother, advised him that he was too young to have a girlfriend. Jane informed him that he could have a girlfriend once he reached his senior year of high school. Edward respected his mother’s opinion and did not argue. He was content with having Jessica as a friend. Meanwhile, Jessica had romantic feelings for Edward. She was aware that Edward would eventually become the future king of England. However, she was uncertain if she wanted to marry him and become queen.
