In the Azure Skies Villa, Megan received a photograph that astonished her. The image was of an infant, a baby boy.

"Isn't he adorable? Your son," the message read.

Megan was seized in a violent spasm of disbelief - “What did this mean? Hadn't I given birth to a daughter?” She scrutinized the photo, and indeed, the tiny face bore a resemblance to her own. Could this be her son? Another wave of convulsions racked her body.

Jewel had deceived her. She had birthed a boy, not a girl! She was on the brink of a breakdown.

She had placed her trust in AK Group and the Boss, but they had stabbed her in the back, snatching away her son and replacing him with an imposter.

Megan stormed upstairs, pounding on Jewel's door in a frenzy.

Jewel, annoyed in the midst of her skincare routine, swung the door open, "What's the big idea, Megan?" She was convinced Megan had postpartum rage with worsening temper by the day. If it weren't for the boss to watch over Megan and the child, Jewel would rather not be anywhere near her.

Megan grasped Jewel's shirt in a tight grip, "Tellthe truth. Did I give birth to a boy or a girl?" Jewel was visibly shaken, "What's gotten into you? Why this sudden question?" Megan shoved the phone in her face, "Is this my son?" Jewel widened her eyes in shock, "Who sent you this picture?" "lI don't know," Megan said, her voice quivering with urgency, "Just tell me, is this or is this not my son?" Swallowing hard, Jewel struggled to maintain her composure, "No, you had a daughter. This photo must be from ssick jerk trying to mess with your head and drive a wedge between you and us. You can't believe this." Megan trembled her lips. She didn't believe Jewel. Right now, she didn't trust anyone.

"When the baby was born, you all whisked it away before I could even get a glimpse. Whether it's a boy or a girl, that's for you to dictate, isn't it? I bet your plan from the start was to swap my real child with a fake." Jewel shot her a dark look. Megan had guessed correctly. The boss had indeed orchestrated such a plan. But that had nothing to do with Jewel.

In AK Group, the boss' word was law.

"I'm done explaining. Believe it or not, it's up to you. The most important thing now is to find the baby. Once you see for yourself, you'll know whether it's a boy or a girl." Megan couldn't calm her racing heart. The baby was her talisman and trump card to assure her dominance in the matriarchal throne of the Stirling family. When she first learned it was a girl, she had nearly succumbed to despair.

Now, hope was resurfacing from the depths of the sea.

"I had blood tests and ultrasounds, all indicating a boy. How could I possibly have given birth to a girl?" Jewel spoke with forced calm, "The boss found it strange too. If you had a son, he wouldn't have had to find a baby of similar age to replace yours." Megan's mind was in turmoil. She desperately hoped her baby was indeed a boy.

"I expect you to find my baby quickly. Only by seeing him with my eyes will I believe anything you say." Jewel stroked her chin, deep in thought. If her hunch was right, the photo was likely sent by the kidnappers.

She needed to inform the boss immediately and trace the source.

"Giveyour phone. I'm getting our hacker to track the sender's IP address. We'll catch them soon enough." Reluctantly, Megan handed over her phone. The very act of sending her baby's photo meant he was likely still alive.

Whether a boy or girl, the baby was hers and Leopold's. Megan couldn't bear any harm befalling him.

After all, this baby might be the only one she and Leopold would ever have.
