Beverley couldn't help but curl her lips in disdain.

[Darling, I'm coming back htomorrow.] Aurelia quickly replied, [What time?] [Evening.] [I'll take a day off the day after tomorrow so we can have a little catch-up.] Beverley piped up from the side, "Sheryl, listen. You should take matters into your own hands if Fredric refuses to cooperate. It's not hard for a wife to 'borrow' her husband's seed without his permission." "Sheryl, I swear that Jelena and Fredric are strictly professional. She's got plenty of wealthy suitors. She wouldn't demean herself to be someone's mistress." Jelena had indeed had a fling with Fredric, but that was water under the bridge. She went abroad probably to put distance between them.

Still, Sheryl couldn't shake her unease.

After all, Fredric had once considered leaving her for Jelena.
