Chapter

After the absurd human–dog wedding ended, Becky freshened up. She then lay down on the bed.

Naturally, she was the only one in the bedroom. The black and cold–toned decor exuded a chilly atmosphere.

To fit into the wedding dress, she had not eaten all day. She had also toasted alone. She now felt a burning sensation in her stomach. She was in pain.

Becky curled up in bed. For a moment, she could not distinguish whether her stomach or her heart was in pain.

Just as she was about to fall asleep, the room door was suddenly pushed open.

In the darkness, a man stumbled and lay on the bed. Becky then smelled the scent of alcohol all over his body and the strong fragrance of perfume.

Becky was instantly awake. As she smelled the feminine scent of the perfume, she found it laughable.

“He didn’t attend our wedding, but he was with another woman?” she thought to herself.

A snap could be heard. The glaring lights then lit up.

Instinctively, Becky closed her eyes. However, her shoulder was firmly gripped in the next moment. The force was so strong that she felt it could crush her.

With cold eyes, Sigmund questioned in a chilling tone. “Who allowed you to sleep here?” he said.

Pressing her hand against her stomach, Becky spoke softly, “Brigham got very angry today.”

Sigmund was momentarily stunned. However, he did not explain himself eventually. He sneered and said, “If you hadn’t made such an unnecessary move and brought up the subject of organizing a wedding, he wouldn’t have been angry.”

Becky furrowed her brow and said, “It has nothing to do with me.”

The idea of holding a belated wedding was proposed by Brigham. He insisted that Becky should not be treated so unfairly.

Becky knew very well that Sigmund did not have such an intention at all. She turned down. Brigham’s suggestion. However, Sabrina took matters into her own hands and decided everything on her own.

Sigmund had initially agreed to hold the wedding, but he now blamed Becky entirely.

“It has nothing to do with you?Sigmund said.

Sigmund’s eyes turned menacing. He sneered and said, “You’re pretending to be innocent now, but

it was you who handed me the drugged drink that night. It was you who climbed into the bed, and it was you who brought up the subject of holding a wedding.

“Becky, I thought you have strong principles and would not compromise your own values, yet you are willing to go so far as to complete the wedding with a dog. Why are you pretending now?”

He released her. Then, he wiped his fingers that held her shoulders earlier on his clothes, showing apparent disgust.

Standing at the bathroom entrance, Sigmund added coldly, “Before I come out of the bathroom, pack your things and get out.”

Becky sat on the bed. She had waves of heartache. There was a moment when she felt so angry she wished she could stitch Sigmund’s mouth shut with a needle.

However, her stomach pain grew worse. Her lips turned pale, Cold sweat broke out all over her body.

that

After relaxing for a while, she got off the bed. Just as she wanted to leave the room, she noticed the door had been locked. No matter how she tried, she could not turn the handle.

Becky walked to the balcony, intending to climb over to the next room from there.

Just as she had barely climbed onto the windowsill, an arm reached out and forcefully pulled her down

Sigmund’s voice was cold and angry as he said, “What are you doing? I told you to get out, and you plan to jump from here. Feigning suffering to gain sympathy and trust, huh?”

Becky was tossed to the floor. Her pain intensified, so much so that she was out of breath.

She lifted her gaze. Her tone was cold and confrontational as she said, “The door is locked, so I climb over. Isn’t that what you want? You’re so good at imagining things, so why don’t you become a screenwriter instead of a CEO?”

Sigmund was taken aback for a moment, seemingly surprised that the usually obedient and submissive Becky would dare to speak to him in such a manner.

He glanced at the distance between the two balconies.

“Even if her legs were fully stretched, she still couldn’t reach the balcony, yet she still wanted to climb over?” he thought to himself.

Judging from his mocking look, Becky could tell that he did not believe her at all.

“Becky, stop playing these clumsy tricks with me,” Sigmund said.

After Sigmund finished talking, he immediately went into the bedroom.

Becky chose to simply keep quiet.

After all, he would not believe whatever she said.

She struggled to stand up. She intended to continue climbing over. However, a wave of nausea suddenly hit her.

Becky rushed to the bathroom. She then leaned over the sink and retched.

She had not eaten for the entire day. Hence, she vomited only bile. Her stomach was in severe pain.

Sigmund frowned.

As Becky finished rinsing her mouth and came out of the bathroom, he stared at her with a cold and stern gaze. “You aren’t pregnant, are you?” he asked.

Becky curled her lip and said, “I just drank too much. I did take the pill. Have you Sigmund’s gaze swept across her stomach. Something flickered quickly in his eyes.

Becky poured a glass of water, Suddenly, she froze. Something crossed her mind.

She thought to herself, “Wait a minute.

“That day, I accidentally vomited the pill.

forgotten?

“It’s unlikely that it would be so coincidental. It was just one night, and it’s not that easy to get

pregnant.

“I didn’t have any symptoms before this.

“But if I’m really pregnant…

Sigmund sat by the edge of the bed. His black–silk bathrobe fitted his slender physique closely. His fair and long neck was well–defined and alluring.

His hair was still wet. He pulled open a drawer to get a hairdryer.

A scornful sneer appeared on his thin lips when he saw the items inside the drawer.

“Becky, are you that desperate?” he said.

Becky was facing away from him. She took a deep breath. She was still alarmed by the speculation. of being pregnant.

She did not know what misunderstanding he had again. However, she was in had no strength left. Even more so, she was unwilling to argue with him.

Seeing her lack of response, Sigmund’s face turned even colder. He grabbed Becky’s arm and pulled her up.

Becky clenched her fists, enduring the pain. Her voice trembled slightly as she asked, “Mr. Moolery, what’s the matter now?”

Sigmund threw the hairdryer in front of her and leaned back against the head or

said, “Come here and blow–dry my hair.”

Becky was momentarily dazed.

She used to pester him in the past, wanting to blow–dry his hair for him.

As Becky looked at Sigmund, whose eyes were closed yet displaying a cold expression, there was no trace of the previous tenderness and affection in her eyes.

Becky was infatuated with Sigmund However, his repeated humiliation had completely made her come to her senses.

Before the wedding. Becky might still expect that Sigmund would have a change of heart toward

her.

However, after leashing the dog and toasting with it, Sigmund was just a fart in her eye

“You aren’t disabled,” Becky said. “Can’t you then blow–dry your own hair? Go to the city hall tomorrow to get the divorce certificate. We won’t have any relationship anymore. I don’t think I need to attend to you.”

Sigmund’s expression turned serious. He narrowed his cold eyes and scrutinized her.

It was as if he wanted to see what tricks she would play again.

Becky looked at him, holding her breath. She intended to get her phone and call someone to unlock the door.

As she walked to the bedside, she immediately saw the things inside the drawer that had been opened.

The drawer was filled with numerous layers of stacked condoms.

Becky suddenly understood the meaning behind what Sigmund had said earlier.

He thought she prepared those condoms.

However, there was no point in explaining.

She averted her gaze, bent down, and extended her hand across Sigmund to grab her phone.

Sigmund’s gaze turned cold. He suddenly lifted his hand and switched off the light. He then grabbed her wrist and pulled her downward. In an instant, his hot and strong body fell onto hers.

Sigmund forcefully ripped open her sleepwear.

Becky felt extremely uncomfortable all over her body. She instinctively reached out to push him

away

Sigmund sneered lightly. He gripped her wrist and her lip harshly, showing no trace of pity. He

quickly took a small box from the drawer and said, “You prepared these condoms carefully just to make me desire you, didn’t you?”

He whispered in her ear with his low, husky, and magnetic voice. “Since satisfy your desire then,” he said.
