Chapter 34 - Feelings and Thoughts

My feelings are mixed. When Rose got here, I felt some kind of connection to her. I felt the need to protect her from harm. I wanted to shelter her from anything and anyone. But now that I learned who she is and who her mates are I am conflicted. I need a direction because I feel lost.

I hoped that she might be my mate, considering the attraction I felt towards her. I mean, I could learn to love her. Who am I kidding? It would have gone from bad to worse. Because there is nothing sexual. I feel towards her like I would a sister.

I shift in my wolf so I could run. Running clears my mind.

I start running to a small river on the property when I smell the most intoxicating smell. Even better then Roses. I follow the smell and come face to face with a vampire.

The girl looks very scared at me.

My heart is beating fast and my mind feels like porridge.

„Hello. My name is Eloisa and I think you are my beloved. I mean no threat to your pack alpha. I have come here at my brothers request, Lucca.” And she smiles at me lovingly.

„I am here to see the daughter of the Moon-Goddess. Will you take me to her?” the beautiful vampire spoke. Her voice is melodic and angel like.

I go change behind a tree and find some shorts to wear.

„I am Alpha Kristof. And you are on my land dear mate.” I smirk but soon it fades when I make eye contact with her. She is so beautiful.

„Yes, my beloved. I know. May I?” the vampire asks, but all I can do is nod my head yes.

She comes in front of me and places a hand on my chest.

„Will you accept me as your mate, wolf?” she asks with caution in her voice, and if I didn’t have amazing hearing, I might have missed it.

„Yes … I Alpha Damian Kristof accept you …” I just realize I haven’t asked for her name, she might think I am slow … truth has it I am slow, because she makes it hard for me to think straight.

„Eloisa” she smiles at me lovingly

„… as mate and Luna of Lunar Pack!” with my words I felt a surge of power go through me and Eloisa was smiling again.

I adore her smile.

„The power you felt is from me. I am an old vampire. I was cursed not to have a mate by Goddess Luna because I was stupid to think I can seduce her beloved. Seems like her daughter has other plans. And for that she has me in her service.” Eloisa hugs me and makes me feel like I can win the world.

„We should head to the pack house.” I say and hold Eloisa’s hand in mine. Enjoying the sparks.

„Have you meet Rose before?” I try and make conversation and get to know my mate better.

„I have yet to meet her.” Eloisa answers.

„Love, they are almost here.” I say to Lucian making him confused.

„Who is here?” Lucian and Lucca ask together.

„Your sister.” I say, looking at Lucca. And she happens to be Kristof’s mate. Should I tell them or enjoy their reaction when they see them?

I smile wide at him.

„How did you know?” I can feel in the bond that he wants to know what else I have learned.

„You know everything. I am training with mom. She teaches me, and I think that I need so much more practice. It’s hard to control it, while it is connected to my emotions.” I am worried that I don’t have what it takes.

„Love, let me tell you. My father locked my emotions while I was a teenager because I kept starting fires and making teachers disappear.” I know Lucian wants to make me feel better and I have to admit that it is kind of funny.

„That is kind of funny. Thank you. I love you. But how did you get from there to this I wonder. I mean, you are calm and … I don’t deserve you …” I whisper the last part, but Lucian heard me. If Lucca heard I don’t know but he said nothing.

„You are my everything.” Lucian said.

„Rose, would you like to go on a date with me?” Lucca said, making everyone look at me. Lucian was looking weird at him and the others just wanted to wait and see what happens.

„I … just you and me?” I look at Lucian as he nods his head as a yes and has a small smile on his face. I think he knows more than he tells me.

I think that you are wondering how I know them. That is because my mother, Luna, told me about them. They are the oldest vampires. And the girl, Eloisa was cursed because she wanted to seduce dad.

„Eloisa?” she looks so beautiful, like a porcelain doll, no make-up, plump lips, eyes like they could see through anyone.

She blushed, embarrassed and looked at me like a child to a mother when they get a lecture for something they did.

„Rose, you know I have been paying for my sins. And thank you. I am forever in your service.” Eloisa said, wile Alpha Damian was looking at me like he wanted to give me a word or two. But I guess he is thankful because he finally has a mate.

Lucian ignored them and hugged me, looking into my eyes.

^I think he is starting to have feelings for you. He feels a connection with you that he has never felt. And it is enough to make him want more. ^ Lucian said in our private mind-link.

^He can be my protector not mate. ^ I said a little angry.

As we were talking, we didn’t notice that everyone left. And we were alone.

„Care to join me my king?” I ask him with a small smile on my face.

„What does my queen have in mind?” Lucian asked back.

„You will see.” I turned my back and started walking towards the pack house and in our room.
