Chapter 33 - Introducing my mother

„I fainted because mom wanted to talk to me.” I said, making them look at me confused.

„But your mom is human …” Lucian added.

„My real mom is Luna, Goddess Luna. She told me that gods cannot have children directly. They can but only through a human-vessel. That is why my surrogate mother is human. And I also saw my father and talked to them for a little.” I said, Lucca and Lucian were lost for words. but Alpha Damian was looking like he was having a conversation with someone, his eyes were glazed over and he was looking like a zombie. Hate that part of the telepathical communication. Even the word gives me a head ache. Can I just call it mind texting or mind calling?

„Please say something… anything … are you ok?” I looked at them and started to get scared.

„My mate is the daughter of the Moon-Goddess? What? Are you real? I am so happy!” Lucca said.

„Lucian?” I asked him because he was only looking at me.

„Oh, don’t mind him. He will be fine.” Alpha Damian reassured me and hugged me, making me feel a little better. He feels to me like my brother should be. Protective and kind.

„I am … I mean, I think that I need some more information.” Lucian finally said. Making me confused.

„What information? About what?” I asked a little too fast, letting him know that I am anxious to find what he is thinking.

„She is Luna, the Luna. And that means that you will take her place someday. And she had you. So, you can have …” Lucian trailed of in thought. He didn’t need to ask for more information he just wanted to confirm his thoughts.

My only instinct was to hug him. I could feel through our bond that he is confused, relieved and curious.

I hugged him and sat on his lap. He hugged me back.

„I can have children with the help of a surrogate. We can …” I whispered so only he can hear me. "We can have as many as we want."

I looked at him to see his reaction.

Lucian kissed me like no tomorrow. Like that kiss is everything. Like it was water and he was thirsty for days.

„Can you explain to me what just happened?!” alpha Damian said a little too angry for not being allowed in on our exchange.

„I am pretty sure you don’t need to know that last part. Trust me.” Lucca told Alpha Damian with an evil smile.

I cleared my throat, while Lucian was smiling from ear to ear and looking at me happy.

„Alpha Damian … I want to …” I wanted to help him as best as I can now that I am starting training with my mother and my powers are growing.

I can feel that Alpha Damian has a mate. I mean, he had a mate but she died before they could meet. And this only gave me an idea and an opportunity to use what I know and do good. He is a good man and a devoted alpha to his pack.

„Please Rose, I mean Goddess, call me Damian!” Alpha Damian said, I mean Damian.

„I am not yet there. But you can call me Rose anytime. We are friends. You have been friends with my mates for a long time. And I think that something good is going to happen for you. What do you think?” I try and be cryptic with him, to surprise him. But his reaction got me shocked.

„You are right … I am so … I feel like I need some time alone. To think.” Damian said and got up so fast I almost didn’t notice when he jumped from the window of his office and landed in his wolf form.

Damian left the office, leaving me with Lucian and Lucca alone.

„Are you ok?” I ask Lucian. Cupping his face and making him look at me.

„I am sorry. I got so jealous. And angry. I thought that you are leaving me for him. And I would have let you if that made you happy…” Lucian said with sadness in his voice.

„Why would I do that? When my mother has two mated, besides my father. It is hard being the mate of the King but imagine being one to the Goddess.” I was thinking about this power and how it might apply to Lucian as well.

„Baby? I am only a king. I might have powers coming from both fae and demon but they do not compare to your mothers. She could end me knowing I made you upset. Do you understand?” Lucian picked up on what I was thinking through our bond.

Lucca was looking at us and I want to know more about him.

I have a feeling. My instincts and smell are getting sharper and more refined, so is my sight. I have been feeling more powerful and I think that I am slowly changing and growing into my powers. All I have to do now is to train with mom and dad. Now I have only my beloved Lucian in mind and to get better acquainted with Lucca.

„Lucca? Want to play a game of questions?” I ask him. Even though I know that Lucca and Lucian are friends and know each other. I still don’t know Lucca.

„Sure … but I do not see the point in this.” Said Lucca.

„That is a great idea Rose because Baldur just informed me that I have some urgent matters to take care of and I need to leave you in the hands of Lucca for protection. And Lucca, if a strand of hair is damaged, I am going to torture you!” Lucian said while his eyes were changing. I have no doubt that he will torture Lucca if something happens to me.

„So Rose, you want to start asking me?” said Lucca unimpressed by Lucian.

„How old are you?” I asked the first thing that has been bothering me since I saw him.

„Wow, going straight for the kill, are we? I mean I think it is just curiosity but I am almost as old as Lucian, and before you get ideas. I was born vampire and not turned like you see in the movies or read in those romance books.” Lucca has a mouth on him, I contemplate he can have an entire conversation just with himself.

„Are you going to kiss me?” I ask with courage as I can see him doing his best not to come to close to me and frighten me.

„Yes dear!” was all Lucca said before we could hear noises and shouts from the front of the house.

I did not get my kiss with him. Anyone doing this chaos downstairs is going to regret it.
