Chapter Thirty-Four

“Come on show off’s schools finished.”

Damon says but I can see the laughter behind his eyes. I look at Nik and see him looking down at me. I stick my hand out technically saying that I need help up. It’s only because I can’t be arsed to get myself up. He grabs my hand and yanks me up in one swift motion, next thing I know I was in Nik’s warm embrace. I could stay here all day. I look over to see if Jen was up and she was, she was also in Damon’s embrace. We all walk to the changing rooms to grab our things. The guys wait outside whilst we run in and grab our bags. Once grabbed we make our way back out of the locker room but before we get to the door we are met face to face with the bitch herself.

“What do you want now Britney?”

Jen asks nicely. Ha, I can see straight through that.

“I only want to tell you to back off from Damon and Nik oh and Ethan. Otherwise, there will be consequences.”

When she said this last part she looked towards me. The fuck she meant about consequences.

“Look Barbie, one Ethan is our brother and two Damon and Nik is our mates. There is no way we are backing off. But you know what you can do. You can back off away and don’t even try talking to them because I will know and if I find out you have said even one word to them I will gladly rip that ugly little head of yours off that fucking fat body. RIGHT!”

Barbie takes a step back when I say this. She is petrified of me. Ha, that’s how it should be. With that said I brush past her and walk out the door fuming. Once I am outside I see Nik looking at me and when he sees my expression he says.

“What is wrong Little Wolf?”

“Oh just Bitch Barbie at it again. Don’t worry I will calm down soon. But thanks for your concern, Big Wolf.”

I give him a hug and start walking towards the car. There I wait for Jen seen as she has the key for it. Once Jen gets here which by the way took her five minutes, she unlocks the car and I slam it open and jump in and wait. I close my eyes just to calm down a bit and for a few minutes, it was quiet. Then I heard the door open but it wasn’t just one door it was three, I open my eyes and see that Jen, Damon, and Ethan has got into the back while Nik jumps into the driver seat. I give Nik a confused face and he just shrugs. Okay, I will just close my eyes and lean back then. He starts driving, and all too soon we arrive at home. We all get out and walk into the house and see that mum is home, she is sat in the kitchen with her head in her hands.

“Sup mum, why looking so glum?”

“Oh girl’s, erm could you two stay at the packhouse for a couple day’s?”

“What why mum?”

“Just do it for me please girl’s?”

I look at her and can see that she is scared. What the hell is going on.

“Mum, why are you so scared? What are you scared of?”

“Just go please girl’s, it is safer and Damon is that alright with you? I should have ask-”

“No, No it is completely fine Mrs. Christal!”

Damon cuts mum off and rather than looking pissed that he did so she looks completely relieved. Something is definitely going on with her lately. I just walk upstairs and pack my bag. I don’t know if Jen is doing the same but at this moment I couldn’t care less. Something is up and I need to find out what it is. I walk out of my room and as I am heading down the stairs I hear mum say.

“Yes he is back. And he wants Michelle so you two better go and soon.”

I stomp into the kitchen where they all are and stand there with my arms crossed, no one has noticed me yet so I clear my throat. They all spin around and see me stood there.

“Who the fuck is back and why does he want me?”

I ask this question and no one will answer me they all just look away. I can understand Damon and Nik not knowing but my own mother and sister looking away and not telling me when I know for a fact that they know something and won’t tell me that hurts. I just turn on my heel and walk out towards my own classic mini.

I jump in throwing my bags on the back seat and speed off towards the packhouse. Once I am there I park up and just sit in my car until one of them gets here. I close my eyes and quickly I fall asleep.

Next thing I know I am being shaken awake and whoever it is, is going to get a punch to the face. I quickly move and throw my fist and it makes a satisfying crack when it connects. All I hear are groans. I open my eyes and see that it is Nate. I burst out laughing when I see him on his back on the floor holding his nose which is bloody. I hear the sound of an engine and look over to the drive and see the jeep pull up. Mum, Jen, Damon, Nik and Ethan all get out and start walking over towards me and Nate. They look at Nate and give us confused looks.

“Did he shake you awake?”

Mum asks. I don’t reply I just scowl to them all. I am not in the mood to speak to people who don’t give me answers so why should I answer them. They notice that I won’t answer.

“Fuck that hurt Michelle why did you do that to me I was only waking you up.”

“Well, you should have shouted my name from a couple of steps away because normally as you know now I punch when someone wakes me up.”

He looks up at me and see’s that I am being serious so he keeps his mouth shut. Good, he knows what to do. I help him up and then grab my bags from my car and without another glance, I walk into the pack house, I could hear them all shouting my name but I just ignored them but the one person that didn’t shout my name was Jen because she knows when I am mad not to talk or interact with me until I am calm. Also, she has never seen me this angry and I have never been this angry at her as well. I walk up the six sets of stairs and make my way to the guest room we was in last time. I need sleep fuck interacting with anyone. Once I make it into the room I throw my bags across the room and literally flop onto the bed. I cover myself over and wrap the covers around me so it is like a cocoon. I fall asleep very quickly.

I wake up what feels like only 5 minutes later I look over to the clock and see it is 10 pm at night. I get up out of bed but not before tripping over something on the floor. Once I right myself again, I turn around only to be looking at Nate asleep so I look around the room only to see everyone there this all includes Nik on the bed, Damon and Jen asleep on the other bed Ethan on the floor on the opposite side of the room, mum asleep on the chair and of course the one I trip over Nate is laid on the floor still out cold bear in mind, right next to my bed.

I get up to my feet properly and make my way out of the room without waking anyone. It is very quiet in the hallway and I feel like I need some fresh air, so I walk down the stairs and make my way through the kitchen to the back door. Before I get to the back door I get knocked down. I let out a small squeal and lean on my elbows to come face to face with pure white fur and I know just by the fur that this is my baby Star.

“Hey baby, wanna go out?”

She gives a small howl that’s not enough to wake anyone up. I get up and open the back door and she bolts to the other end. I find myself a bench to sit on but rather than sitting I decide to lay down. My eyes slowly close. The next time I wake up it is because the sun is shining on my face. I open my eyes to be greeted with Star laid next to me but she is on the floor and the sun shining. Did I really sleep that long and outside on a chilly night? I stand up and stretch my legs. How I didn’t feel the cold I don’t know. I walk back into the house with Star and see everyone running around like headless chickens throughout the pack house. What is going on, I just walk over to the kitchen island and sit on the counter whilst I grab an apple. I just watch everyone running around.

“Hey, what’s going on?”

I ask a passing woman about 10 years older than me.

“We are looking for the Beta female, she has gone missing.”

Next thing I know this woman is taking a second to look at me properly and then she squeals like high pitch squeal that hurt my ears. I fall off the counter and onto my knees holding my ears shut with my hands it hurt me that much.

“O.M.G. you’re her your our Beta female. You’re not missing you’re here!”

“Yeah and now I am a deaf Beta female bitch, get out of my sight and find Nik or someone.”

She runs off and the next minute I am being picked up by strong arms, I could feel sparks running through my body and I knew then that it was Nik. I cuddled in closer to him as he sat on the floor with me on his lap. He whispers into my ear.

“Where the hell have you been? I have been so worried.”

“Why so worried, I only went outside for some air and fell asleep on the bench out there no big deal right?”

“Right but next time please wake me up so I know where you’re going. Promise me?”

“I promise.”

We sit there and it seems really quiet in the room. I move my head out from Nik’s chest and look up to see literally everyone staring at me and Nik sat on the floor.
