Chapter 21

The next morning, I woke up from the sun. I snuggled closer to Xavier and sighed. I was about to fall back asleep when the alarm went off.

I groaned and shut off the alarm. I got u out of bed and walked into the bathroom while rubbing my eyes. I shut and locked the door then looked at myself in the mirror.

I gasped in horror at my reflection. I looked horrible from last night. Just thinking of last night put a smile on my face. Let’s just say Xavier and I finished the mating process.

I smiled and turned on the shower. I jumped in the shower when it got warm. I washed my hair with my shampoo and conditioner and was about to wash my body when I felt muscular arms wrap around my waist.

I jumped and quickly turned around, thinking it was like a murderer, but sighed in relief when I saw Xavier.

“Xavier you scared me!” I yelled and he chuckled. I smiled at him and pecked his lips. “How did you get in here? I locked the door,” I said confused. He chuckled at me.

“I have a key,” He whispered and then smashed his lips to mine. I kissed him back right away. I moaned into the kiss and he smirked.

After about 20 minutes we finally got out and got dressed. I sighed when Xavier came over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

“We have to go and unstrap Emma,” I said and he nodded. I looked at him and pecked his lips.

“I-I love you Bliss,” he said and I smiled at him.

“I love you too Xavier,” I said back and kissed him. He kissed back instantly.

I pulled back after a while and smiled. He returned it and grabbed my hand.

“Let’s go,” He said and dragged me out of the room. I smiled and followed him to where Emma is.

“Okay, remember Emma, you can’t talk today,” I told Emma. She nodded and stood up from the table.

‘Thank you,’ she said in Xavier’s and my head. I smiled at her and nodded.

“Your welcome,” I said back and we walked out of the room.

“Emma!” We looked up and saw Jackson running towards us. When he got to us, he picked up Emma and spun her around.

She smiled and hugged him back. I smiled at the two of them and Xavier and I walked away to give them their privacy.

“Training starts in an hour,” Xavier said. I groaned as I grabbed an apple. I bit into the apple as Xavier smirked.

“What?” I asked and he shrugged. He turned around and started walking out of the kitchen.

“Be ready in 30 minutes!” He yelled over his shoulder and finished the apple than went upstairs to get ready for training.

“Come on Bliss, you can do it!” Xavier yelled and I huffed in annoyance.

I got up off the ground and ran over to the wall. I grabbed onto an edge that was sticking out and pulled myself up.

I kept doing that until I got to the top of the rock wall and flipped down to the ground.

I kept running, doing the obstacle course and 5 minutes later, made it to the end.

I was panting as I stop running and bend over, my hands on my knees as Xavier walked over to me.

“See that wasn’t so bad!” He said, trying to cheer me up. I rolled my eyes and walked over to the knife area.

“Yes it was!” I yelled and picked up 3 throwing knives. I aimed it at the target and threw one, hitting it in the red circle. I did that with the other 2 and smiled.

I walked over to the bow shooting area and grabbed a bow and then some arrows. I hooked an arrow on the string and then pulled back.

I moved my feet so I was standing sideways and put my hand at an angle but didn’t grip the bow tightly. I made sure I had everything right and then shot at the target. I hit inside the red dot and smiled.

I did that a couple more times and then put the bow up.

“Nice job everybody! Now get some rest and eat then we will continue tomorrow bright and early!” Xavier yelled and I sighed in relief.

I put the bow n’ arrows up then walked into the house and upstairs to Mine and Xavier’s room. I walked into the bathroom and locked it.

I turned on the shower and waited for it to warm up until I stripped out of my sweaty clothes and jumped in.

I sighed in contentment as the warm water hit my tight muscles than and finally relaxed. I smiled as I washed my hair and then body.

After about 20 minutes, I jumped out of the shower and dried my hair then body. I got dressed into my clothes and then walked out of the bathroom.

I walked downstairs and into the living room to see everyone sitting down and talking.

I smiled at them and sat down next to Xavier. He kissed my forehead and then continued talking to Caleb who was next to him with Ayana.

I smiled at them and turned to look at Emma.

“How you doing?” I asked her and she shrugged while Jackson played with her hair.

‘Okay I guess. I just want to talk instead of use the mind-link all the time,’ she said and I nodded. I totally understand how she feels.

“I know how you feel. I was worse than you though. I couldn’t talk to other people through a mind-link. I had to write down my answers because I wasn’t in a pack. I could only talk to my siblings. I love them and all but sometimes they got annoying,” I said, laughing.

Emma smiled. Xavier grabbed my hand and pulled me up. I looked at him confused.

“Go get ready. I’m taking you out for dinner. Dress nice,” he said and pushed me in the direction of our room.

I sighed but nodded. I walked over to our room and walked to the closet. I looked through my close until I found the perfect outfit.

The outfit was a peach color and a dress. The front of the dress was short then got a little longer in the back.

I smiled and set it on my bed. I walked into the bathroom and stripped then turned on the shower.

Once the water was warm, I jumped in and started washing my hair and body.

After about 20 minutes of showering, I jumped out and wrapped a towel around my body.

I walked back into the room and walked over to my dresser. I got out underwear and put them on then put my dress on.

I then got out my jean jacket and put it on. I grabbed my purse and put on my wedges.

I blow dried my hair and then straighten it. I did my makeup natural and put some lip gloss on.

I smiled at my reflection. I walked down the stairs and to the living room. Xavier had his back to me and was talking to Emma and Jackson but stopped when he realized they weren’t paying attention to him.

He turned around and smiled when he saw me. He walked over to me and pulled me into his chest by the waist.

“You look Beautiful,” he said and pecked my lips. I smiled at him and he returned it.

“Thank you,” I said and he stepped back, grabbing my hand. He pulled me to the door and out to his Ford truck.

He opened the door for me and I smiled. I hopped in the truck and he shut the door.

He jogged over to his side of the truck and jumped in, starting up the truck.

“Where are we going?” I asked Xavier and he smiled.

“It’s a surprise,” he said and I groaned.

“I hate surprises,” I said and he laughed.

“I know,” he said and grabbed my hand.

20 minutes later, Xavier put a blindfold over my eyes. I huffed and crossed my arms.

“We’re almost there,” Xavier said, bringing my mood up again. Another 5 minutes later, I felt the truck come to a stop and got excited.

I heard Xavier get out and he walked over to my side of the truck. He opened the door and helped me out. We started walking with Xavier guiding me by the hand.

“I better not trip and fall or you are dead,” I threatened and he chuckled.

“Don’t worry, I would never let you fall,” He said and the seriousness in his voice made me smile.

We walked for another 5 minutes until Xavier stopped.

“Ready?” He asked and I nodded with a small smile. I felt him take the blindfold off and opened my eyes. When I opened my eyes, I gasped.

We were in the woods, at a small clearing. The tears had lights hanging off them over a table. The table had white cloth on it, flowers and a lantern.

Xavier pulled out a chair for me and I thanked him as I sat down. He pushed me in and sat down himself.

“Hope you like spaghetti,” he said and a waiter came and brought us both a plate of spaghetti. I smiled a thank you to the waiter and turned back to Xavier.

“I love spaghetti,” I said and he grinned. We both then dung into our food and can I just say this, it was delicious.

40 minutes later, we were on out desserts. The dessert today was these cookie muffins.

“Did you have fun?” Xavier asked me as I ate another muffin. I smiled at him and nodded.

“I did. It was so good,” I smiled and he chuckled, nodding.

“I’m glad you liked it,” He smiled.

20 minutes later, we were driving back to the pack house laughing at a joke he just told. I was slightly disappointed that we were heading back home but I was so tired so that made me glad to be going home where I could cuddle with my mate in our warm bed. Maybe even make-out a little bit.

We arrived back home a couple minutes later and Xavier shut off the car. He got out of the car and I was about to when the door open. Xavier held open the door for me and I smiled in thanks. He returned it and helped me out of the car.

We walked into the house, hand-in-hand, and walked upstairs to our room. We walked in and I walked over to our closet. I grabbed a pair of shorts and then grabbed one of Xavier shirts and ran into the bathroom.

I changed into the clothes and brushed my teeth then put my hair into a ponytail. I smiled and walked out of the bathroom.

Xavier was laying on the bed when I walked out of the bathroom in just his boxers, on his phone. I stopped in my tracks as I stared at his 8-pack. I licked my lips as he flexed a little, still not aware that I’m staring at him. At least I don’t think he is.

Shaking my head, I walked over to Xavier, still not aware that I’m in the room, and jumped on him.

“Oof,” He said as I landed on him. I laughed at him as he pushed me off of him then got an evil glint in his eyes. I suddenly got worried when he put his phone down and turned to me.

“Xavier, what are you-” I didn’t get to finish my sentence as he pounced on me, and started tickling me. I screamed and started laughing as he continued to tickle me. Yeah I am very ticklish. Dang him.

“Xavier.... S-Stop.... Please I can’t breathe....” I managed to get out between my laughs. Among my shrieks to Xavier to stop, I managed to hear his laughter also. It was deep but not too deep. It was music to my ears.

“Say I am the sexiest, strongest person in the world!” Xavier said and I shook my head. “I’ll stop if you say it!” He said.

“I AM THE SEXIEST, STRONGEST PERSON IN THE WORLD!!!” I yelled as I laughed when he scowled at me.

“Say Xavier is the sexiest, strongest person in the world,” He said and I shook my head. His ego is already big enough, we don’t need it to grow.

“XAVIER IS THE SEXIEST, STRONGEST PERSON IN THE WORLD!” I yelled as I had enough. Xavier smirked as he stopped tickling me and I gulped in air as Xavier sat back and watched me.

“Now was that so hard?” He asked me. I huffed and face-planted the pillow as I responded.

“Yes!” I yelled but it was slightly muffled by the pillow. Xavier chuckled and laid down beside me, staring up at the roof.

I turned to him so I was laying on my side, facing him. He turned on his side also and looked into my eyes.

“Xavier?” I asked and he hummed in response, still looking into my eyes. “What’s going to happen when the war starts?” I asked. I could tell he was taken aback by my question but then sighed.

“Honestly?” He asked and I nodded. “I don’t know,” He said with a sigh. “But I do know this. We will fight with Emma and Jackson. I know Rasputin has not only vampires on his side. I know he also has hunters, Rogues and many more on his side. We just have to believe in each other,” He said and I nodded.

He wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me into him. I smiled and he put his head in the croak of my neck and breathed in deeply. I giggled and started playing with his hair. He moaned and kissed my mark.

“Xavier,” I said, breathlessly. I felt him smirk against my neck and he started nipping at my skin with his teeth as I moaned out his name again.

He kissed up my neck, to my jawline and finally connected our lips with each other’s. I moaned into the kiss and grinded into him.

He groaned and kissed me rougher. I moaned and returned it. Let’s just say things got heated up from there.
