Ch 11 Introduction

Kim's POV

"HaHaHa, who was that raising there voice at MJ just now, I wanna see who has the courage" Mr lawson questioned loudly, As he walked thru the front door arm & arm with his wife.

Maxwell Sr looked like a splitting image of his son just a little older and way more muscular, like The rock with midnight black hair and dimples.

His suit was Black with a red handkerchief, I'm sure he had on Gucci he looked like a movie star hitting the red carpet.

The Lawson genes are strong, I wonder if my son would look like max ? I thought while blushing. Beside his dad was Mrs Lawson.

Now she was beautiful beyond belief, she was about 5'4 slim strawberry blond hair and dimples too.

Im certain my child will have dimples for sure, she had on a black skin tight dress. It looked like Armani but I wasn't sure with a pair of black red bottoms to match.

"Now dear at least ask her for her name before you start yelling, so who might you be dear ?" Mrs Lawson stated smoothly.

"Kimberly, Kimberly Johnson ma'am" I said quietly. Somewhat shy now in front of these Apex predators.

"This king is Maxwell Sr and this Queen is Kacey," he stated while simply smiling, but his aura was full of killing intent. I don't know who for but it scared me.

"Ying to his yang I see, my baby likes em shy, he's very outspoken so he needs somebody like you." She said while giggling, yet her intent was full of love. It was definitely yin and yang with them as well.

"Okay okay mom you'll have all the time to talk to her, this is my mate. Can you show her your china collection or something, I have to talk to dad." Max said while pushing us together .

"Follow me honey, I haven't touched the china in years but if he insists," she said sarcastically laughing while waving me over to the stairs above wine cellar.

Max POV

As me and my father walked back into his office, I thought about what I was gonna tell him. I expected him to be back days from now, not today. It was a little to early, no homework was done yet.

"How was the meeting Dad," I asked trying to make small talk, as I closed the door to his office behind me.

"Ehh, nothing important Mj. Just a lot of begging I can't wait till you have to go to these meetings yourself." He said while looking bored in his chair.

"So what did you want to talk about, I heard she's your mate is it true?"

"Yes she is my mate, she just recently moved into town from Florida. I found her randomly" I explained. "She's actually accepting me, so you don't need to worry about the blood moon. I'll definitely reach the level of Alpha." I said out of breath, getting right to the point.

"Hmmm" was all he said for about 5 minutes, it was the longest 5 minutes of my life it seemed like.

"The blood moon is coming up, of you can't succeed. There's no point in coming back, one of your brothers will keep the bloodline going." He stated coldly, while looking me dead in my eyes.

"Get It Done, I'm not going to keep babying you. Succeed or fail it's all up to you MJ!" He yelled while striking his desk, cracking it in half. His hand transformed slightly, it looked like something out a movie.

"Get out, don't come back till you have results." He said while turning his back.

If only I could reach this level in my cultivation to becoming a True Alpha and only she she the key.

I walked out looking for my subordinates, I needed to figure this out the safest way possible. I was on very thin ice emotionally with Kim at this moment in our relationship.

She barley trusts me, so how can I get her to fully mate with me.....

Kim's POV

As Mrs Lawson went down stairs, she walked up to a rack of wine it all seemed color coordinated. Red wine, white wine, champagne, she even had whiskey down here. Maybe that last one was Maxwell Sr, but she spoke after grabbing a bottle to examine it.

"What are your intentions with my Baby boy, your very beautiful and I understand your mates but what's your true intentions. You know you could always cut ties, ooh this is a good one 96' Red Margaux blend" she said suddenly, while turning to face me.

I was somewhat put off by this question. I never that about severing ties and bonds if I needed too, and it made me feel very uncomfortable. My wolf longed for max now that she made that statement.

"Honestly I planned on loving him unconditionally, I never expected that we can separate so easily. Or wanted to so to say, I just met your son but I love him already." I stated proudly.

It seemed like she was thinking about several things at once, she smiled then spoke again.

"If you love him like you said you do, don't take his past for what it's worth he's made a few mistakes. Can you promise me one thing though" she said with a sudden seriousness.

"Yes anything !" I said suddenly worried. She reached down and touched my stomach. I jumped at the warmness of her touch, my core was burning in the area she touched on my stomach it was weird.

"Your primordial yin is still attached, you'll go into heat soon. Whatever you do, don't tell my son."

"Why not ?" I asked suddenly confused.

"Because it's very important to him, and I want him to choose you organically. Power isn't everything." She said with a exasperated expression.

I understood what she meant though, her husband must be pressuring max Jr to step up to the plate and be the pack leader. These are big shoes to fill but I wonder what power they're talking about.

If we mate fully during the blood moon, it would give him great benefits towards his cultivation and help him become a true Alpha since I have my primordial yin still. So many questions I need answers too, I'll definitely ask him when I get a chance.

Thinking about what she said I had to digest everything, as I was in mid thought he walked in.

"My two favorite lady's, Mother could I take Kim for a minute." He said with a devilish smile.

"Sure we was just done here, son" she said while hugging me, kissing my cheek and walking out.

As the door closed he asked "Have you and zach had sex before....
