Trevor was taken aback. Then, he said, "I do." "Which one?" Sonia asked.

Trevor then pointed to his bedroom door.

Sonia said, "I'll stay in your room, and you can stay in your sister's. How about that?"

Trevor was somewhat surprised and said, "That'll work. But I don't stay here very often, so there isn't much in there. It might be inconvenient for you."

Stella said, "It's okay. After Sonia settles down, well have a meal and see what the room lacks. Then, well head to the mall and buy whatever that's missing."

Jaylene spoke, "Actually, she should just stay with me. I have everything in my room."

Sonia politely declined, "Jaylene, I sleepwalk sometimes. It's more convenient for me to sleep alone."

Jaylene stopped insisting upon hearing her words. "Okay. Since we're living under the same roof, just let me know if you need anything."

Stella raised an eyebrow as she thought, 'I thought Sonia was very close with Jaylene because of how friendly she was earlier. It seems like that might not be the case.

'Sonia speaks so politely with Jaylene but rather naturally with Trevor. After all, why would a girl suggest sleeping in another man's room?' After unpacking, Trevor drove the girls out for a meal.

Perhaps they still were not very familiar with each other, but Sonia did not speak much. Although she looked very cool, she was very well-behaved and had great table etiquette.

Stella could not help but feel pity for her when she thought about her losing her father.

Trevor had mentioned before that Sonia was a genius in blending fragrances but was somewhat slow in understanding interpersonal relationships. Perhaps all geniuses would be different from ordinary people in certain aspects.

Her mother was always busy with work, so they spent little time together, and their relationship was average. However, her relationship with her father was particularly good.

Her father resigned from the airline industry to become an instructor just to care for her. When Trevor was getting his pilot's license, he often saw Sonia following her father, coming in and out of the training ground. After work, he would often take her out to meet new people.

Her father's death was a heavy blow to her, almost severing her connection with the outside world.

Stella could not help but think of the time when Rainee had just had her accident. She was only two years younger than Sonia is now. At that time, she felt utterly isolated and helpless, thinking the whole world was nothing but darkness. She knew too well the feeling of losing the person she depended on the most.

Stella kept putting food onto Sonia's plate, fearing that she might be too shy to get them herself since everything was still new to her.

Sonia looked at the pile of food in front of her, hesitated, and pushed the plate toward Trevor.

Stella was taken aback as she did not understand what that meant.

However, Trevor seemed used to it as he said, "Rest for a while if you're full already."

Sonia nodded and began playing with her phone.

Then, Trevor picked up the food from her plate with his fork and ate them.

Stella was shocked. 'What is going on?'

Stella's phone vibrated as she thought about that.

She looked at it and saw a text from Keegan: [I heard that you want to break my legs. Is that right?] Stella raised her brows and replied: [Did you hear it from your precious Jaylene?] Keegan replied: [I never knew Mrs. Kane can be so bold when I'm not around.] Stella humbly texted back: [I'm just putting on airs, knowing that Mr. Kane himself is backing me up.]

Keegan was puzzled.

Stella added: [Your precious Jaylene has forwarded my vicious remarks to you.

Don't you want to do something to reassure her?]
