Chapter 38 

Alexia looked at the faces of the two wolves in front of her as she slowly recalled the events that happened that day. 

She was beaten up badly by Clinton and his friends. She usually gets bullied by them and she was already used to the situation but that day was worse. 

They hit her several times and they even wanted to….wanted to rape her. 

It was just too much for her to take. She wasn’t going to let them rape her and so she fought back. 

But it was all useless. She thought they were really going to have their way with her but then Miles and Micheal showed up. They are the ones who saved her? 

Alexia looked at them with gratitude in her eyes. She didn’t even know if she would still be alive if it weren’t for the both of them. 

Thank you very much for saving me. If it weren’t for the both of you….I don’t think I’ll still be alive now” Alexia said. 

Other than the pain she felt in her body, her heart was also in pain. Kayla is her sister. Even if she doesn’t like her and even if she feels like she did something wrong to her, she is still her sister. Does she need to torture her like this? 

“You don’t need to thank us. We were just doing what we were supposed to do. As for those people who hurt you, don’t worry. They are going to get what they deservel” Micheal said. 

He was thinking of the worst ways to punish Kayla and her friends. They need to be taught a lesson so they know that they just can’t go around doing whatever they want. 

Alexia shook her head. Intimately, Kayla is still her sister. She can’t be as cruel as Kayla, although Kayla has done a lot of horrible things to her. 

“What are you…what are you going to do to Kayla?” Alexia asked. 

Micheal and Miles frowned. “Why do you care about that? Don’t worry. You just need to recover. We will take care of everything” Micheal said. 

The look Michael and Miles had on their faces made Alexia scared. She knows that they are the two most powerful wolves in the pack. 

If they want to kill Kayla, even their father who is the former beta won’t be able to do anything about it. No one will be coming to save Kayla. 

“No matter what, Kayla is still my sister. She has hurt me several times and I feel terrible that she can go to these lengths and treat me like this but she is still my sister. I don’t want anything to happen to her!” Alexia said. 

She knows that many people will call her stupid if they heard this but she really couldn’t care less. 

Kayla is her sister. If she stands back and watches as she dies, then will she won’t be any different from Kayla herself? 

No. It will only mean that she and Kayla are the same type of people and that Kayla was only able to bully her because she is stronger than her. 

She didn’t want to be the same kind of wolf as Kayla. A wolf who bullies others just because they are stronger. 

“Do 

you even know what you’re talking about? Do you know what Kayla did to you? She is the one who asked her friends to do that to her. She told Clinton and his friends that you are a slut and that you’ve slept with a lot of wolves. That is why they did what they did. She stood in a corner and watched coldly as you were taken advantage of. She was even taking a video! 

She wanted to take a video of you getting raped so that she can use it against you in the future! Do you really think that she would care about you if your positions were switched and if she’s the one lying in the hospital now? She will do anything and everything possible to make sure that she gets her revenge on you! So why do you have to consider the fact that she is your sister when she really could not care less if you lived or died?” Miles asked speaking up for the first time. 

He really couldn’t stand the thought of Alexia caring about Kayla. He saw all that Kayla did to her himself that day. 

Miles was sure that deep down, Kayla was hoping for Alexia to die after the ordeal that she put her through. She wants her own sister to die! 

Miles felt that Alexia must be really stupid to care if anything happened to Kayla. 

“Do you really think that I don’t know all of this? I know all that Kayla did. I know….I saw her there that day too. She was looking at me…. looking at me with a cold gaze in her eyes. She believed that I’m the reason the both of you broke up with her and she wanted to get some kind of twisted revenge on me. But at the end of the day, she’s still my sister. I can’t be as cold and as heartless as Kayla because I’m not her. If I decide to let you guys do whatever you want to her, does that make me any different? It just makes me another Kayla. It means that I’ll bully anyone as long as I’m stronger than them. It means that deep down, I’m just another version of Kayla who wasn’t able to bully others because she is weak. I’m not Kayla. I can never be like her. Although she’s been so mean to me, I still care about her. She’s my sister! She’s my family!” Alexia said. She had her own principles. Although her family has always hurt her, they are the only family she has. Maybe deep down, she will always hold a grudge because of what they did but that is where it all ends.. 

She can’t stand back and watch as her entire family gets destroyed. 

“And your father? Do you also think of him as family? Alexia, I’m not trying to burst your bubble but I need you to see the truth for yourself. Those people…they don’t care about you. Those people that you consider your family, they don’t care if you live or die! Your Father came to us a few days ago and he was only there because of Kayla who is in the dungeon now! He didn’t care about you who’s in the hospital! He blamed you for everything, saying that you provoked Kayla and so you deserved everything that she did to you! He said that he isn’t going to come see you, how can you consider those people family when they want you dead?” Micheal asked. 

He felt pain for Alexia. He really wondered how she had survived in that family for so long without dying. 

“No matter what, they are the only family I have. Can’t you spare them? Alexia asked.
