Chapter 37 

“I was crying because I miss mom and dad. Didn’t you want to know why I’m crying? It’s because I miss them. I miss the both of them so much. I feel like they are the only ones who’s ever truly cared about me. They cared about spending time with me. They  ask some bodyguard to look after me and they didn’t get me doctors so that they won’t have to care about what I’m feeling personally!” Acella said. 

Ever since their parents died, she felt like she lost the two people who loved her. 

Now anyone and everyone can make fun of her in this place and her so called brother doesn’t even care at all. 

It’s enough to make anyone sad. 

“Acella I…..we can….. Axiel didn’t even know what he was supposed to say to her. He was hesitating. 

“You know, you don’t have to force yourself to show care to me. I know that you don’t want to do that. You forcing yourself. to care about me is only going to stress you out. I can take care of myself from now on” Acella said. 

She is done waiting for her brother to genuinely care about her. 

Acella got up and walked towards her room. Axiel rested his face in his palms. 

What has he been doing ever since? He thought that it was Acella being unreasonable all this while meanwhile, he is the one who just didn’t bother to find out just what she was feeling inside. He’s such a horrible older brother. There can’t be anyone who’s more terrible at this than him. 

Acella marched all the way up to her room. She used to have some kind of expectations from her older brother before but now she knows that she can’t expect anything from him. 

He doesn’t even care about her at all so why should she keep waiting for him! 

She met her personal guard Mathew standing by the door. 

“You don’t have to stand here all night like a statue. I’m not going to hurt myself tonight!” Acella said rudely. She was in a bad mood and so she took out her anger on the person closest to her. 

The guard. 

Matthew had a stoic look on his face. His emotionless face did not give away anything. 

“I’m serious but I can’t leave here, Miss Acella. His Highness had decided that I’ll stay here and you are not to be left without supervision. He doesn’t want anything to happen to you!” Mathew said. 

Acella rolled her eyes. It’s not that he cares about her. He just doesn’t want anything to happen to her on his watch. 

“Don’t worry! I’m too tired to attempt killing myself today!” Acella said. 

She entered her room and slammed the door shut. 

A few days later, Alexia was running in the woods. She felt like there was something chasing her, but then, she couldn’t see anything. 

Suddenly, a wolf jumped in front of her. The woll bared it’s teeth at her and Alexia screamed. 

“No! Let go of me! Let go of me!” Alexia begged. 

With a loud growl, the wolf pouched on her while tearing her to pieces. 

“Please let go of me. I’m Kayla’s sister! Beta Ray is my father! I’m not a rogue!” No matter how much she begged, the wolf refused to let her go. 

The scene changed and she saw herself in the abandoned school building. 

Clinton was beating her up while Kayla and her friends stood a few feet away from her laughin 

“What a useless wolf!” 

“How did you get this kind of sister?” 

“I would have already killed myself by now if I am like. Of what use is a wolf who can’t even shift? She’s just as useless as any ordinary human can be!” 

Alexia heard their mocking remarks clearly and it hurt more than getting beaten up by Clinton. 

“Kayla, Kayla, please save me. I’m your sister. Are you going to watch me die? I promise I won’t annoy you anymore. I will stay out of your way. Please tell your friends to leave me alone!” Kayla begged. 

“Stop talking to me you bitch! I’m not your sister! You will never be my sistert I’d rather kill you myself than admit that a useless person like you is my sister! You are such a waste in the pack! Your kind should be killed and thrown to the rogues! Even your disgusting dead body doesn’t deserve a place in this pack at all!” Kayla said. 

“I’m really sorry. I’m sorry. Please let me go! Please stop hitting me. I’ll do whatever you guys say from now on so please, please let me go!” Alexia was still crying. 

“Shut up you bitch! You should be happy that we’ve taken an interest in your body. Otherwise, who else will want to touch a disgusting thing like you? You had better stay put if you know what’s good for you!” Clinton said. 

He grinned wickedly at her then he removed his belt and tied her hands with it. After that, he tore off the clothes on her body and….and…… 

The scene changed again and this time, Alexia found herself trapped in a room. 

But everywhere was dark and she could not even see a single thing at all. 

She broke down dobbing loudly. “I didn’t do anything…I didn’t do anything wrong… please don’t touch me… please let go of 

me….. 

Just then, 

“Alexial Alexia! Are you awake? Alexia!” Someone called out. 

Alexia opened her eyes at once. She looked at the two handsome faces in front of her. She recognized them as the alphas and as Kayla’s mates…no her former mates.. 

But….what are the alphas doing here with her? 

She looked around her and immediately realized that she’s in a hospital. 

So 

everything she experienced just now was a dream. 

The events that happened the last time she was awake came back to her. 

Kayla’s friends had been bullying her again. But this time, they decided to take the bullying a little bit further. 

They hit her until her entire body started to hurt. And then they tried to rape her. 

Alexia remembered that just before Clinton was able to do that, the both of them showed up and so she was saved by them. 

She bit her lips as she felt her heart hurting badly. 

Besides not being able to shift, she really didn’t do anything bad to Kayla or her friends. Why do they have to treat her the way they do? 

What did she do to receive this kind of treatment from them? It’s just not fair at all! 

“What….what are you doing here?” Alexia asked. She felt really grateful that they saved her, but they don’t need to be here right 

Micheal smiled at Alexia. He and Miles had come to visit Alexia again the way they’ve been doing for the past five days when they heard her calling for help in her sleep. 

He felt bad for her. 

Just how much had she suffered that she’s even having nightmares now? 

Miles is right. They have to do everything that they can to make sure that Kayla and her friends suffer for all that they’ve done to Alexia 

“Do you not remember? We are the one who brought you to the hospital!” Micheal said.
