Chapter 9 Aphrodite plan

“Apha leave it, they need it” Locan says “Anyone got any popcorn”

As we sit there and watch them go at each other every punch and every kick. The blood going everywhere I mean what a waste of blood. The skills these two have is great it was like watching a Bruce lee film. And this is a daphire and an angel, so the speed of this fight is faster than the speed of light. As they were fighting, I could feel my strength was weakling. I watched both of them get blooder as I start blacking out from the weakness.

“Aphrodite” Elijah shout running over to me “Aphrodite you need to feed” He says rolling his sleeve up “Take it from me” putting his wrist near my mouth I push it away “Aphrodite” I pull his neck to my mouth and sink my teeth into him. The sweet taste of his blood I start getting my strength back. My eyes roll back the demon part of me doesn’t want to stop. But once I get what I need I push Elijah back with a high pinch scream I’m back on my feet my wing spread full demon mode kicks in blood running down my mouth.

“Stay there Elijah” I shout “I don’t think I can hold this back” I’ve never been like this “Maybe we should leave you here with Aries and his team”

“Apha” Locan says “We’ve never been in battle without Elijah”

“I can’t risk killing him”

“You won’t” Locan looks at me “Listen to me take a breath don’t think just calm down”

“Aphrodite, I go wherever you go” Elijah says “I love you, and I trust you”

“Maybe you are trusting the wrong person” I look at him and shake my head “I can’t risk your life I could end up killing you and I can’t do that cuz I would never forgive myself”

“I don’t care I love you” I turn I know Elijah means it “I’ve always loved you I know you don’t feel the same and that’s ok” Tears coming down his eyes I dart next to him and put my arms around him.

“I love you too” I whisper “But as my friend not as anything more”

“If we are finished” Locan says “This love thing is going to make me sick” I laugh “No literally going to be sick”

“Let’s go” I say as we get to the window we turn and wave bye to the humans.

“You do know there is a door” The professor says we look at him “I know not as much fun” We smile “Go on you lot go and see what you can find out”

“You will be the first one to know if we find anything”

“Wait I’m coming with you”

“Aries this isn’t a good idea” Locan tells him

“Locan I’m coming too” He looks at me “She needs me I know she does”

“Her name is Apha”

“I know that”

“Well start to use it then”

“Let’s go then I’m not in any sort of mood to argue with any of you”

“I love you” Aries smile at me.

“I love you too” I smile back.

“I’ve told you about this I’m going to be sick” Locan shakes his head “Keep up Aries boy”

As we jump out the window three of us flying and one free runner. As daphire can’t fly but they can fucking jump and run fast. We stated scouting the area out to see if there is somewhere there would be able to hide. It would have to be dark and cold. Somewhere creepy like a graveyard or a banded falling down building. Well, I’m starting to think we may have to spread out to cover more ground and not lose any more day light. I point at the building below us as we land.

“Your insane”

“How?”

“We can’t spread out how are we going to know if one of us is in trouble”

“We’ll scream for help”

“Apha”

“Aries”

“Right Aphrodite is right we need to spread out”

“Elijah, I think you and Aries need to stop fighting for apha attention”

“Locan I’m just saying we’ve work with Aphrodite before Aries has no idea how this works, he only worked with humans in the past and we have a lot more power than humans and a lot brainier then theme”

“Elijah right we’ve done this more time than enough and Aries is a rookie” I look at Aries he knows I’ve work with Locan my brother and Elijah an ex-sort of anywhere. “Elijah, you take the east, Locan west Aries south I’ll take north meet back here in hour with or without everything” With a nod we all take off.

As I fly North looking around. I see one of those vamps in a lane. I watch from a hight, but I see he is feeding on a human. The lane is dark this lizard doesn’t even know he’s being watched. I fly down and smile at him. Then before he has a chance, I pull a bit of his brain out and I start chewing it like it’s a piece of gum. I fly back up and start bringing vamps out to the death. As soon as their hit the sun light they bust in flames. Locan saw me and saw I was chewing on a bit of brain. He smiles.

“That’s why we had to spread out?”

“Elijah and Aries would never agree to this”

“Can you get Nemesis”

“I’m through"

“Aphrodite”

“Nemesis”

“What are you doing?”

“You know what I’m doing”

“What do you want?”

“To meet up”

“And if I say no”

“I’ll kill more of your pets”

“Where?”

“Tyne bridge”

“I’ll be there when the sun goes down”

“Ok I’m hanging up now”

“Well?” Locan asks

“Tyne bridge when the sun goes down”

“Should we tell Elijah and Aries”

“No”

“Apha”

“Just me and you Locan Aries can see my thoughts”

“I’ll cover your thoughts, but we do need Elijah”

“What do you care you hate Elijah?”

“I don’t hate Elijah” Locan says “Truth is, he’s ok for an angel I always thought you and Elijah would become more than friends”

“What?”

“I thought he would be you know don’t make me spell it out”

“Locan no”

“Apha yeah you two were always close and you did love him and…”

“Shut up”

“No, I won’t”

Before I can answer Elijah back and Aries is back, I think they know we’ve been talking about them. As they see us laughing. They know something is up but their haven’t a clue. Aries looks at me a can’t see what I’m thinking. Probably best he doesn’t know as this could be a suicide mission and if I can keep Elijah and Aries alive than I’ve done my job. God will still be pissed at me, but I can’t win them all.

“What’s going on?” Elijah asks

“Apha thoughts are being block I can’t see or hear what she’s thinking no more”

“Locan will be blocking them”

“How? Why?”

“Aphrodite would have asked him to”

“Why though?”

“Cuz they are planning something and we’re not a part of it”

“You two seem friendly”

“Locan what’s going on?”

“Don’t know what you’re talking about”
