Her comics sold for a high price, including the anime and film rights. To justify the price, she had to draw even better. She couldn’t let the film company that trusted her be damaged

Tahlia nervously watched Marcus, who had his eyes closed. She wanted to strike up a conversation with Marcus several times, but before she could speak, she was deterred by his cold, unwelcoming aura 

In front of Cornelia, Marcus pretended to be kind and close to her. But once out of Cornelia’s sight, he never really looked at her.

“This is Cornelia’s spot. It’s not for you” He said.
