Chapter 114 - Epilogue - Part 1

Seven Months Later.

Lacey's POV

“You know brother, I know a really good lawyer who can get you a quick divorce if you want me to hook you up”

“And why would I wanna divorce my beautiful wife, Justin?" Logan asks amused

“"Well..just look at what I'm looking at, she's not exactly the most ladylike of women when she's eating, is she?"

Iheard my brother ask my husband who laughed as I looked at him annoyed

“Justin, can I ask you a question?”

“Sure kid, what's up?"

“You're Emily and baby James biological father, right?" I ask my brother who looks at me like what the f**k?

"Of course I am, Lace”

“And you were present during the entire nine months that Sabrina was pregnant with both of your children, am I right?"

This is my second steak today which is probably not good for me considering I'm pregnant but it's not my fault, it's my mother-in-law's fault

Today is Logan's thirtieth birthday and we were hoping to throw a huge party for him but Logan refused and said he just wanted something

intimate, so instead, we've thrown a barbeque/pool party at his parent's

Isay as I look at my big brother with a smirk which got bigger and brighter when I saw him gulp

I'm a natural foodie at heart and I could literally eat you out of house and home, that's how much I love food and it seems my natural love

of food has increased during my pregnancy which isn't really surprising considering this happened with my first pregnancy as well

pick you up some pickled peppers and gherkins from the shops on my way home from work"

“Ooh, rookie mistake, Logan, when your woman tells you she's craving something while she's carrying your baby, you don't forget it"

“I remember when I was pregnant with my son, I was craving these spicy noodles, onion rings and mustard and there was this one particular

day where my cravings were really strong, so I begged and pleaded with Justin to bring me some home and I got so angry with him when

he said he'd forgotten them, I think I even cried as well”

“Aww, I did as well"

Isaid whilst looking at my sister-in-law with sympathy

There's nothing worse than having a craving and not being able to feed that craving

“I'm sorry but what has all of this got to do with you eating like Marlon Wayans in White Chicks, kid?"

Liam asks me and I narrow my eyes at him

“I don't know whether or not I should take that as a compliment or an insult, brother”

“Why would you take it as a compliment, Lace? you've seen that movie a million times and that date scene is one of your favourite scenes in

I'say with a smile and my brothers looked at me with a disgusted/horrified expression which made me burst out laughing

“And I'l happily give you one once I've given birth and I've got my body back"

“Bluddy hell, if I knew all it took was to mention my s* life with Logan to get rid of those two then I would've done it months ago”

I'say with a chuckle as I watch my brothers walk over to one of the bars

I smiled while watching them as my mind drifted back to the past seven months and what a crazy and peaceful time it's been for all of us

After Christmas, the kids started their new school which I was super nervous about for some strange reason but it turns out that I had

nothing to be worried about because they took to their new school like a duck to water

Twas also put at ease when I found out my nieces and nephews were attending the same school and I felt even better when they came

home on their first day and told me they've made a whole bunch of new friends

They're not in the same classes as one another because they're all of different ages but they hang out with each other during break times

which has helped them grow closer and form a tight bond with one another

The kids also see each other every weekend when Logan, myself, my brothers, Sabrina, Rachel, my parents and Michael and Grace all get

together and do something different like swimming or going to the beach or an amusement park so that the kids can have fun and spend

some time together

We've tried to include Dylan in our activities but he's not interested, not because he's being an asshole but because he wants his kids to

have fun with their family without his mood bringing them down

Dylan has kept his head down ever since Luca was sent to rehab and from what I've heard from my brothers, he spends all of his time either

working, sleeping, working out, getting therapy or being a dad and not

At first, my parents weren't keen on leaving the kids with their dad

because of Dylan's actions on Christmas Day and also because he's been suffering from really bad depression since then which is reasonable

if you ask me but they quickly changed their minds when Dylan broke down and begged them not to take his babies away from him saying

that he's already lost his husband and he wouldn't survive if he lost his kids as well

Ever since then, Dylan has been doing really well, he's stepped up as a dad and he's also been attending therapy a couple of times a week as

well

I've only seen him maybe once or twice since our argument after Christmas and I've honestly seen a massive difference in him when I did

and that difference is that he's more quiet and introverted now whereas beforehand he was extroverted and loud and he could talk the back

legs of a horse

Dylan has also taken on the role of step-father to Chloe and Alex and has been spending a lot of time with them and their grandparents and

they've all grown really close to each other, Michael and Grace had even told me that they had a soft spot for Dylan and that they felt

protective of him in a way

Dylan has also helped Michael and Grace set up their own bakery shop

in the heart of Manhattan which is doing really well and they're earning quite a bit of income now, he also helped them to find a home

them and they'll also have something to remember them by via their home and the bakery

They also feel content with Luca and Dylan being fathers to their grandchildren just as long as Chloe and Alex aren't treated differently and

will always be loved just as equally as their siblings

speaking of Luca, he's also doing great as well

He's currently staying in a rehab centre in West Palm Beach in Miami Florida and it's doing him wonders being out there

We've facetimed a couple of times since he was taken there and he looks so much healthier and happier now and he's starting to look like

the old Luca but better

Justin and Liam have told me that they've both visited Luca in Miami with all of the kids and according to them, he's adopted a much

healthier lifestyle while in rehab, he's eating healthier now and he's also going to the gym every day and does yoga a couple of times a

week as well

Luca has also been attending therapy either every day or every other day and he's been writing his feelings down which has made a massive

difference in him according to my brothers who have said that he looks like a huge weight has been lifted off his shoulders and his chest

and he looks a lot lighter and not as tense or as highly strung as Liam put it

Luca isn't the only one who has been attending therapy, my family and I have also been going to therapy as well

We all attend therapy separately but have been meeting up once a week to attend a session together as a family or at least we did until it

me for my forgiveness, something which I'm not ready to give them yet and it became too much, so Logan stopped me from going until

Logan has been super overprotective of me or even more protective of me while I'm pregnant, especially when it comes to my mental and

emotional health and he's trying to protect me from anything which could not only set my own mental health back but also risk the lives of

our unborn babies

Logan and his Usain Bolt sperm have impregnated me with a set of twins and we're having a boy and a girl which the kids aren't happy

about because Logan Junior and Dayton wanted them to be boys and Teddy wanted us to have just girls

As for myself and Logan, we don't really care what their genders are as

long as they are healthy

Logan has been revelling in every single moment of my pregnancy, he's read umpteen books on not just pregnancies but also births and

after the birth which is super cute and it makes me smile when I see him looking through a book with a serious look on his face because it

looks like he's studying for a test

There was even a moment not too long ago when Logan had been reading a book which had a section in it about postpartum depression

and he sought me out so that he could make me promise to him that I wouldn't shut him out or suffer alone if this happened to me and this

made my love for this incredible man grow and became even stronger than it already

This was a really emotional moment for the both of us and for me

He said whilst placing his forehead against mine as his thumb continued to caress my cheek

“Oh, Twas just thinking about the past eight months and how amazing and magical they've been for us"

“Yeah they have and so is our future, baby"

Logan said with a smile as he leaned in and kissed me

We were broken apart however by the sound of something metal being tapped against what I'm assuming is glass

We pulled away from each other and looked over to where the noise was coming from and I couldn't help but smile brightly when I saw

Logan's parents David and Ruth standing with Logan Junior and Dayton on either side of them and Teddy being the princess that she is, is

being held by her gramps and they're all standing in front a huge birthday cake with the number thirty and Logan's name on it in huge rose

gold letters

“Oh god, we're not gonna sing Happy Birthday, are we?"

"What's a birthday party without the guest of honour being sang to"

I grab his hand and we both stand up before walking over to his parents who are giving their speech
