I say with a gasp and a chuckle

“What? what's wrong, Lace?"

Isay and Carmella laughs

She thinks I'm playing but I'm not, I nearly had a heart attack when I

heard my then three-and-a-half-year-old children singing Carmella’s version of Cardi B's hit song

"Don't get mad, Lacey Lace, these kids need a cool, fun auntie to teach them great things"

“Enter auntie Abigail"

Abby says as she joins the conversation

She comes over and hugs Carmella before hugging me

Logan says as he wraps his arm around my waist pulling me closer to him as he kisses my temple

We stood in a comfortable silence for a few minutes before Logan asked me a question which confused me

"Did you pick the models for your book covers, Lace?"

"What?"

Tlook up at Logan with my eyes narrowed

"Why are you asking me that question?"

“I just wanna know, that's all"

He then led us back into the room and towards the front of the stage where our family and friends were standing

"We're about to ring in a brand new year but before we do, I would like to make an announcement and introduce you all to someone very

Abby says and my nerves start to build but they start to relax and calm down a little when I see all of the excited faces in the crowd

"We're all here tonight to celebrate a brand new year but we're also here to celebrate the amazing career of Miss Olivia James who recently

She says and everyone claps and cheers

was standing next to me

Last year, I made a new years resolution to be happy and I'm proud to say that I was successful because my heart is filled with so much

happiness and joy right now and I can't wait to see what not only this year but also the rest of my life is going to bring me and my little

family

Hopefully, it won't be as dramatic as this Christmas but who knows only time will tell
