Tiara left Wave Perfume and went to the
studio.
The studio wasn’t close. Normally, Rachel and Tiara were in charge of the development of the new products, which wouldn’t be mass- produced until the quality was ensured.
However, Darren wanted instant success and quick profits. Sometimes, instead of waiting for the new product to pass the stability test, he would put it into production and launch it into the market.
According to what he said, the market was ever–changing. His brand would be replaced if he didn’t take the chance. Therefore, he needed to keep promoting new products and fulfilling the needs of the consumers.
In fact, Tiara wasn’t on board with his radical marketing strategy.

No matter how badly Darren wanted to launch the new product, the process was necessary and couldn’t be neglected.
As much as Tiara disagreed with Darren, she didn’t run the company. She offered her advice before, but Darren denied it. He said she didn’t know how to do business, and all she needed to worry about was to expedite the development of the new products.
He also said once he succeeded, she could live a rich and carefree life.
Tiara never thought about becoming rich. Being with him was enough to make her the happiest woman in the world.

Tiara patted Rachel’s shoulder to console her and asked intentionally, “Who are you?”
“Mr. Fred sent us.”
One of them answered. His tone was
extremely arrogant.

“Mr. Fred? That’s impossible! He never told me you would come here!”
“That’s your business. By the order of Mr.
Fred, we’ll assist you from today onwards to speed up the development of the new products.”
Assist? They obviously came here to oversee
it!
But how would Darren naively think she would stay and keep working for him after what happened yesterday?
Tiara curled her lip into a mocking smile and said, “If that’s the order, go to the lab and help us. Don’t just stand here!”
“They asked me to find all the research and development files and give the key to the archives room to them!” Rachel added.
“Research and development files? Those are classified. Why should I give them to you?”

Tiara cut in. “Tell Mr. Fred to say it to my face. Did Mr. Fred seriously send you here? I’d say you’re spies of the rival company!”
After their identities were being questioned, they looked at each other in dismay.
The leader of them stepped up and explained, “Ms. Fowler, we just followed the order. If you have any objection, you can talk to Mr. Fred. We’ll do whatever Mr. Fred says!”
“Great. Do you think I don’t dare to call Mr. Fred?”
Staring at the man’s face, Tiara took out her phone and called Darren.
The call got through, but no one answered it.
Tiara realized Darren was getting back at her!
Because she didn’t pick up his call earlier.
Did Darren think she would be defeated and surrender to him?

“Ms. Fowler, your assistant has been looking for the files for over an hour. Stalling is pointless. We have all the time in the world. Though the files are classified, they belong to the company. Mr. Fred meant well. We’ll keep the files safe!”
“How thoughtful of him!”
Tiara hung up the call and smiled coldly. She looked to the side and instructed. “Rachel, give them the files!”
Rachel’s drop jaw dropped when she heard this, for she had made up her mind to fight against them.
“Tiara, we spent so much effort making them. They’re very valuable! They suddenly want them all! They must be up to no good!”
Tiara knew Darren was wary of her, so he took all the files. If Tiara turned her back on him, he could still prove that Leticia was the reason for Wave Perfume’s success and the inventor of these products.

“Give them!” Tiara raised her voice and said without batting an eyelid.
“He’s right. The classified files belong to the company. Since Mr. Fred wants them, he should have them.”
Rachel was reluctant, but she couldn’t defy Tiara and went to get the key.
Seeing Tiara’s determined look, Rachel was confused. She controlled her very impulse to ask Tiara why.
There were several stacks of the files, and they moved all of them into the car outside. They also asked for the key to the archives room before they left.
“You already got all the files. Why do you want a key to an empty room?” Rachel said crossly.
“Mr. Fred said…”
“Give it to them!”

She didn’t think those files had any value because the most precious things were stored in her mind. She would never be threatened by Darren after he took all the files.
Rachel gritted her teeth and threw the key at
the man.
The man swiftly caught the key and hopped into the car.
Tiara figured they must return to the company to report, so she didn’t ask any more
questions.
Watching the car drive away, Rachel couldn’t help but inquire, “Tiara, why did you let them take all the files? Without them, how can you prove you researched and developed those products instead of Leticia?”
“Do you think I can’t prove it without the files?” Tiara chuckled calmly. “Don’t worry. I 4 have a plan.”
If Darren dared to set a trap, Tiara dared to jump into his trap!
