Chapter 804 I Am More Handsome Than You 

The double standard exhibited by Ninette pleased Emrys greatly. 

Cameron looked at Emrys, his brow furrowed in chagrin. “And who exactly are you to interrupt?” 

“Cameron, shut up!” 

Hollie hurried over and stopped Cameron from courting death further. 

Cameron was bewildered. 

Waving a hand dismissively, Emrys said, “Don’t worry. I’m a pretty easy–going person and won’t bother taking offense with nobodies.” 

“How dare you!” 

Cameron was so furious that he almost lost his temper and unleashed a stream of curses. Just then, Sylvia said, “Cameron, watch your tongue.” 

Cameron’s expression stiffened. 

Even Sylvia is speaking up for this punk? Who exactly is he? Why had I never seen him at Cloudmist Academy before? 

Jealousy surged within Cameron. 

Seeing the change in his expression, Emrys instantly understood. 

Ah, this guy is Sylvia’s admirer. I reckon he felt there was no hope in bagging her, and so he turned to Ninette as a substitute. À substitute… 

Immediately, Emrys was displeased. 

My wife is so adorable, yet he actually wants to use her as a substitute for Sylvia. No, I can’t tolerate it. I absolutely can’t take it lying down! 

A plan formed in his mind, and he said complacently, “Cameron, yes? You must be curious about who I am. Well, I’ll tell you now. I’m Ninette’s man.”

He continued, “All it would take is a nod from me, and Sylvia would be mine. But I’m not a greedy man, so I declined.” 

I’m really not greedy. I only want seven women. 

As soon as Emrys‘ words rang out, the atmosphere instantly turned tense. 

He said Sylvia would be his with a nod from him. That was a blatant statement to Cameron that the idol unattainable to him would offer herself to Emrys willingly if he just beckoned at her. 

That was not even the worst. The most infuriating thing was that Emrys said he declined and didn’t agree to it. 

He could have had it, but he felt that there was no need for it. 

It was downright infuriating. 

Cameron was so enraged that he almost burst a blood vessel. He initially wanted to berate Emrys for his delusions, thinking the man was all talk until he saw the expression on Sylvia’s face.

Sylvia had bitterness etched across her features. 

Emrys‘ words earlier were also a form of unintentional hurt to her. 

At Cloudmist Academy, she was revered as an idol. Yet, Emrys made it sound like she desperately sought his attention, only to be met with his apparent disdain. 

Am I really that cheap to you? If word of this got out to the other students at Cloudmist Academy, what would become of my dignity? 

As such, Sylvia naturally harbored resentment. 

Her expression of quiet resentment served as the final blow, shattering Cameron’s psychological defenses. 

It’s actually true! 

If Emrys were merely boasting, Sylvia wouldn’t wear such an expression. 

She would have been angry instead since it concerned her reputation. 

But Sylvia’s reaction was akin to that of a disgruntled wife who was unfavored, enough to

prove the veracity of Emrys’s words earlier.

Cameron felt as if he’d been struck by lightning, dumbfounded for a long time. 

Immediately after, an overwhelming surge of jealousy and resentment shot to his head, turning his face an instant shade of bright red. He bellowed, “What gives?” 

What gives? 

Upon hearing Cameron’s neurotic howl, all three girls wore peculiar expressions. 

Because he’s a Golden Elixir Stage cultivator and the inheritor of Azure King’s will. What gives, you say? 

Emrys, however, disagreed with their view. He said earnestly, “Because I’m more handsome than you.” 

All three girls were struck dumb.
