Alexia's POV

"I..."

Emma was almost glaring at me which I have no idea why.

Amanda was softly looking at me and lastly...

Landon was almost pleading me with his eyes to say yes...

"Fine..." I whispered.

The three of them were shocked.

Even though both Amanda and Landon looked quite delighted, Emma looked upset but glared at her brother and muttered a few threats at him then left the room, Amanda on her tail leaving me with Landon all alone...

"Will you please sit?" He asked.

Landon's POV

"Will you please sit?" Was all I could say right now...

Alexia kept fidgeting and glancing at me.

*sighs*

"It's okay if you don't want to sit..."

She finally nodded and went next to the sofa but kept standing.

"Listen...I'm sorry...I know that you didn't want to be marked...I...It's just can't go this way alright!

You're my mate, in normal circumstances if we both didn't want each other then we'd have talked about it and maybe you could reject me but in this case we can't; I'm an alpha and also I don't want to reject you,I want you,I need you...I love you...

I know I have messed up badly but if you were in my place,you'd know how important it was to have you whether as a Luna or as my mate, I can't live without you...They told me that you're terrified of me right now and I can see how anxious you are...

Alexia's POV

"Please just think of what I said..."

"I can see sincerity in his eyes..." Cara suddenly said.

"I know...But no matter how many times he'd apologise...That doesn't change anything...I'm still scared..."

Cara whimpered then walked to the back of my mind again.

"Please..." his now taut voice ringed in my ears.

Slowly I nodded my head avoiding eye contact.

"Um...there's another thing...um...well there's um this party where you'll be officially announced as the new Luna of the pack in front of the entire the pack...Other alphas and betas from other packs are going to attend it..."

That made me snap my head to meet his face desperately looking for any sign of lying.

"Y-You're lying!" my voice turned out thicker than I had intended to show.

Hurt flashed in Landon's eyes, with a straight face he dismissed my little outburst saying,

"Tomorrow at 8, you can ask mom or Emma for help...be ready." He tonelessly responded then left me in shock all alone once again...

Why...why...why!

"Lexi?" Emma's voice snapped me from my thoughts.

"Emma..."

I have no idea how I had looked like at that moment but I'm sure that I looked as miserable as a sin... (A/N: don't judge me, I just found it as an idiom on the internet!)

Emma embraces me for a long time that I almost fell asleep from the exhaustion.

"Hey, come on let's get you cleaned up and eat." She calmly said.

"Ready to go shopping!" Amanda's silvery voice calls.

"One minute!" Both Emma and I said in unison.

In the last couple of hours, Emma helped me get over my crying tantrum and we kept talking non-stoppable since then; we've become great friends.

Amanda suggested we go shopping since I both need to buy new clothes and because I need to get out of Emma's "now more messy room."

Emma was the most excited one since she loves shopping.

"You've been saying that for the last 30 minutes!" Yelled.

"We're coming down now, you can go and wait for us in the car!" Emma yelled back.

"Whatever, if in 1 minute I don't find both of you in front of me, I'm going alone and leave you both here!"

After a few seconds we heard the door slam.

"Dude...we need to go down like right now!" Emma shrieked.

In 10 seconds we were running downstairs like crazy till we got into the car, Amanda in the driver's seat while I was sitting beside Emma at the back.

"What made you two this late!" Amanda growled at us.

"Not my fault that Lexi is too thin that we can't find suitable clothes! I DO NOT CARE,I WILL MAKE YOU GET FATTER NO MATTER HOW MUCH ANYONE PROTESTS!" Emma replied then growled at me.

I growled back.

"Not my fault if I was mistreated!"

This makes Amanda's eyes soften at me.

"Sorry,I didn't mean to...I'm gonna kill them!" Emma suddenly yelled.

"No! No,no no killing. I'm just glad that they couldn't catch me when I ran away,so let's just leave it like that..."

Silence filled the air but was cut when Amanda turned the radio on and some old classy music started.

"No! I'll put the music on!" Emma quickly stated changing the radio station to hip hop.

Throughout the small journey to the mall, Amanda and Emma were arguing like little kids on the music thankfully, we arrived at the mall sooner than I had thought.

"No, not the one." Amanda and Emma have been saying simultaneously for a couple of hours now and I'm tired.

"Ughhh come on, we've been at this for like 4 hours already!"

"You can't just enter any shop and pick a random dress! It's an important party not only you're gonna be a part of the pack but you will also be acknowledged to other packs as the Luna!" Emma squealed.

"Fine, but cant you just pick one already? I'm tired..."

"OMG OMG OMG! That one!!!" She suddenly started jumping.

"God Emma you've been doing that since we entered the mall this is the last one!" I deadpanned.

"Yes yes but look!!!" She pointed behind me.

"Oh my god this is definitely the one Emma!" Emma nodded, agreeing with her daughter.

"Isn't it a bit flashy guys?"

"Nope, this is the one!" They almost yelled together.
