“Mia!” I heard dad’s voice. I opened my eyes to see I was in a forest surrounded by mom, dad, uncle Liam, Aunt Nat, Summer, Adam and a big blue wolf. Tyler?

“Where am I?” I questioned sitting up just to be influged in a hug by mom.

“Next time you’re sleeping with someone in the room.” Mom said letting me go

“Okay” I muttered as the wolf walked away.

“Where are you going Tyler?” I asked and he froze

“He’ll be back” mom said and Tyler ran away.

“We’ll all talk later. Mia come on” dad helped me up as everyone walked away, leaving only mom and dad.

“Daniel rejected me” I smiled, walking with them through the forest.

“Mia!” I heard Tyler shout behind me. I turned around to be influged into another hug.

“Mia” he whispered hugging me tightly

“Let her go” dad pulled me away from him.

“Alec I j-”

“No! Come on Mia. I don’t trust this guy” dad held my hand tightly as we walked away.

We were close to the pack house because dad walked inside and upstairs to my room.

“Mia, you rest okay, I’ll stay inside.” Dad said helping me into bed

“Da-”

“You need to take a pill okay? I’ll get you some water okay?” He said and I nodded as he walked out of the room.

I closed my eyes and after a few seconds my door opened again.

“Da-” Tyler walked inside the room, locking the door behind him.

“Tyler you aren’t s-”

“Shush” he walked towards me and taking his shoes off and laying in bed next to me.

“Ty-”

“Shush Mia. I’m going to do all the talking” he pressed his finger on my lips.

I nodded and he removed his finger.

He wrapped his arm around me, and laid his head on my shoulder.

“What are you doing Tyler?” I asked confused as he started drawing patterns on my hand.

“I don’t want to lose you again. When I found out you were gone, I was scared” he whispered tightening his hand around mine, while tracing his thumb over my knuckles.

“But this isn’t you. You never laid next to me like this?” I questioned confused and he chuckled

“You never asked me too” he smiled at me and I nodded.

I closed my eyes just listening to Tyler’s heartbeat.

“I’m a wizard” he mumbled

I opened my eyes and looked at him.

“But you’re a vampire- wait! You also a wolf. So your a hybrid?” I asked confused

“I am. You know your grandad, Jaxon? He’s a hybrid as well, and at that time he was the only hybrid, but now- now they are many hybrids. But the only different thing is that they’re all vampire and a werewolves only. I am a wizard, werewolf and a vampire.” He explained looking up at me.

“That’s it? That’s the big secret?” I muttered

“It’s not as important as you thought it would be?” He asked

“It’s important, but I kind of realised that you were a hybrid, but not the wizard part” I said and he nodded

“But how come you don’t bow down when mom orders you to do something?” I asked and he smirked

“I’ll answer all the questions you want me too”

“Really? Why?” I asked

“Because I want our relationship to be on pause just for today, so you can find out everything about me. And if you still want to be with me, then we can play our relationship” he explained

“Like a DVD player? Relationship? I never knew we had a relationship Tyler?”

“Yeah. And We do. Now I’ll answer all the questions you asked me the other day okay?”

“Okay”

“The first question you asked me was, who did Daniel kill? Remember?” I nodded

“Daniel killed my mate”

“Why?”

“When I found my mate, she was having sex with Daniel, and I rejected her. And when I rejected her, Daniel realised that she was also his mate. It’s because we’re twins. But he didn’t want her, so he killed her”

“So daniel has two mates? Did you feel any pain?” I whispered

“I’ll answe that another day. And No, because I didn’t like her” he interwined our fingers together as he sat up properly.

“Why am I so secretive? I’ve always been like this Mia. I don’t know why” I laid my head on his chest as he ran a hand threw my hair

“How did I know that you’re a wolf and not a vampire? Because I’m a wizard. Wizards know a lot of things before anyone else. By one touch we can find out the life of the person” I froze

“So you know everything about me?” I whispered looking up at him

“Are you okay?” He looked down at me.

“Do you Tyler?”

“No. I don’t know why but your wolf is blocking your memory for anyone to read it. Why?” He asked and I shook my head, laying my head back down on his chest

“Nothing. Carry on”

“Why do I care about you so much? Because I lo-like you. A lot”

“Why am I always there when you get hurt? Because I can feel the danger before it approaches you” he ran a hand down my arm slowly

“How?”

“Maybe that question could be for another time” he looked at me and I nodded

“Am I planing to hurt you? Like I said before Mia, I will never hurt you, never in my life” he mumbled

“Why you feel different around me? Because you feel like yourself, you’re free around me. I realised when you were with Daniel, you were a little cautious, always making sure you looked okay. And I don’t want you to be like that with me” I nodded

“Who am I? What am I? I’m a hybrid Mia. The most powerful person in the world, but I don’t want to show it.”

“Why do I act this way? I don’t know” he explained

“Why am I so sweet? I never thought I was sweet.”

“Why aren’t I allowed out of my room? I am allowed Mia, it’s just that when I’m around to many people, especially mates, my wolf gets angry, and likes to go crazy, that’s why I get angry”

“And the last question, why does this feel right?” He traced over my knuckles with his thumb

“Because it’s meant to be” he smiled at me

“Is there anything else you want to know about me?” He asked and I shook my head.

“Not now. I’m tired Tyler. In the morning, maybe” I whispered closing my eyes

“I have a question for you Mia”

“Huh?” I mumbled wrapping my arm around his waist.

“Why do you take pills?” I froze

“You can tell me some other time” he whispered and I nodded

“Thank you” I mumbled

“Night Mia” he kissed my forehead

“Night” I smiled slightly
