“What?” We all chorused at the same time and watched Josh and his newly found mate Eva like they are the best entertainment series on TV.

“Stop watching like that, it’s nothing new and it was bound to happen anyway” Joshua said to us.

“That’s why your wolf was anxious at the time of ceremony” I said when realization hit me.

“Yeah” Joshua said

Beside us Emma squealed happily making us all wince at her voice and hugged Joshua’s mate to her dear life and said “I’m so happy for you both and finally another female in this male dominated family”

We all rolled our eyes at her comment and before she could further add something we heard the cries of the kids from the other room. I got up and said “thanks Emma” and left to see the devils crying their hearts out.

I heard her mutter sorry and resumed conversing with Eva, when I entered the room and saw both were wide awake and crying I picked both of them up and cooed at them “shhhh it’s ok, I’m here” and made my way downstairs to see all of them engrossed in some kind of conversation, which instantly died the minute I entered in the room with the two of them in my arms and now they are hiccupping rather then pouring waterfalls from their eyes.

“Little help would be good” I muttered and Joshua got up and took Riley from me and sat him on his lap and saying “oh what’s happen tell your favorite uncle Josh, he will make it all go away”

“He’s too young to mark his favoritism” I sated

“Whatever, you just jealous that your son and Riley would choose me over you, is that right Riley, say uncle Josh is right” he said and started cooing to Riley.

“Drama queen” muttered Jeremy

“What you said brat?” Joshua questioned Jeremy to repeat his words.

“I am not a brat” Jeremy said

“Sure you are not brat” Joshua relented and went back to his one sided chatter with Riley.

I looked up to see Eva watching me closely so, I extended my hand to her and introduced myself and said “hi I’m Adam, but they all call me Jamie”

She took my extended hand and said “it’s nice to meet you”

“Hands off my mate” Joshua warned

I rolled my eyes and said “well you have nothing to worry, I don’t swing her way” and winked at him, he muttered whatever and went back to Riley who was pulling his hair now.

“You are gay” Eva said in surprise

“Yeah, is that a problem?” I asked and raised a brow at her.

“No no, it’s that I always wanted a gay brother,” Eva said and blushed.

I laughed at her and said “it’s not a problem; you got three brothers any way”

“Is that your way of saying that you accepted me in this family?” Eva asked hopefully.

“Yeah I think I did” I said

“Well in that case I think you forgot to introduce me to your son there” Eva pointed to Ethan, who was playing with my shirt collar.

“Oh well he’s Ethan my son” I said and patted his back, which caught his attention and he looked up and put his tiny fingers on my lips, I playfully nibbled at them and he squealed and did it again.

“Well he’s very cute” Eva said

“Thanks” I said and resumed playing with him.

Next morning or I say noon because I slept through morning and surprisingly so does Ethan, usually he’s the one who gets up more often than me during nights and early morning, but, I guess ceremony drained all our energy and right now I’m getting ready to go to the nearby mall and buy the stuff from the list I prepared.

After taking all the necessary things like; my wallet, phone and the list, I left my room and went straight to the kitchen to have late breakfast of cereals, after my late breakfast I left the house as you can guess Joshua left with Ethan to the other house so, I locked our house and went to theirs to inform him that I’m leaving and to collect Jeremy as he promised to come with me.

As I entered their house I was welcomed with loud laughter and a few grunts and giggles of the babies. When I entered the scene I saw Joshua had a choke hold on Jeremy both rolling on the floor and surprisingly Roman was nowhere to be seen and Eva was playing with the babies and Emma was shaking her head at the two goons on the floor wrestling. Yet showing no signs of stopping them.

“What’s going on here?” I asked. All of their heads snapped at my direction and Joshua muttered “knocking some senses into this brat?”

Emma looked at me and said “Please make them stop these fools, will you. I’ll be in the kitchen fixing some juice for the kids” and left in the direction of the kitchen.

I sighed and bent down a little and pulled Joshua away from Jeremy who was breathing heavily and then helped him to stand up, he fixed his clothes and thanked me and sat on the chair, huffing and puffing. I turned around and saw Joshua glaring at Jeremy and said “stop glaring at him Joshua, and mind telling me why you both were wrestling like two immature goons”

“Nothing just brat being brat” Joshua muttered and sat opposite Jeremy still glaring.

“Ok whatever” and turned to see Jeremy and said “c’mon Jeremy we have to go” and motioned to him to take his things or whatever he wanted.

“ok give me two minutes” and ran in the direction of his room and at the same time Emma entered with two Sippy cups filled with juice for the babies and asked “what’s with him?” pointing towards the direction where Jeremy ran off.

“Nothing, just went to take his stuff so we can go and get over with the shopping” I simply answered.

“Oh. Ok are you taking Ethan with you?” she asked

“No, he’s going to stay here” I said

“Ok” Emma replied and went to give the babies their cups.

“Mind if I join you, I have something’s to buy anyway” asked Eva.

“Yeah. Why not?” I said and added

“Seriously, if you don’t want me to come, you can say no” Eva proposed

I shook my head and said “no you can come and any way we want a little assistant to navigate around the area” and offered a smile, she smiled back and said “cool” and then added “when we are leaving?” and just then Jeremy entered the room in new shirt and wearing his boots and I said “now”

After a twenty minute car ride we were now inside the grocery stores and buying the items for both the houses. I was looking for vegetables and Jeremy was looking for fruits and soda, while Eva volunteered to look for cleaning supplies.

My cart was full of things already; I bought the baby food for the babies, vegetables and some noodles, spaghetti much other needed stuff, after five more minutes both Eva and Jer came and stood beside me and there carts were full too, I asked “got all the stuff”

“Yeah” they both said

“Ok, let’s get the billing done” and went to the counter and stood there waiting for our turn.

When our turn came the girl standing behind the counter ogled me up and down and asked “well are you going to feed the army with so much food” and smiled at me seductively, I snickered and thought only if she knew.

“Well you can say something like that” and I wasn’t lying because werewolves have big appetites.

“So are you new here” she said obviously trying to make a conversation, and the way she was eyeing me she was totally interested in me.

I shrugged “something like that”

“Well then if you want the tour of the place, I’m happy to volunteer” she said further and I read her name tag reading Maggie.

Before I could say any other thing to her Eva cut me off and said “I would appreciate if you work your hands faster like your mouth and stop flirting with customers, so we can be out of here”

Maggie turned red with embarrassment and worked faster and handed our bill and muttered a thank you and left the counter.

We exited the store with the shopping bags and placed them in the car and entered the car on our seats and fastened our seat belts and Jeremy asked “where to now?”, I said “mall”, and then we were off the mall.
