“So this is where you disappear to this morning” said the voice of none other than my beloved mate “and left me fend the monsters alone”

“Well there’s yours too” I said without looking at him and kept on doing the push ups.

“yeah” Logan say now standing in front of me “but, still I love to kiss their daddy first thing in the morning”

“oh, so you are here to get just kiss then” I said standing up to face him

“Well that’s the start” Logan said circling my waist “what more can you offer?” leaning in to claim his kiss.

“Get a room you too” said the voice from the door making us jump away from each other with the scowling Logan, “or better prepare for the war that’s brewing at your doorstep, besides there is always time to hit the sheets.”

“Iris, has anyone told you that you need a filter for that mouth of yours” I replied frustrated.

“Many has, many will” Iris replied cheekily “now time to pucker up Adam , we need to form a game plan of our own”

“Haven’t we already?” Logan asked confused

“Oh lover boy,” Iris chuckled, “you have a lot to learn but, it’s not the time, maybe next time.”

“Don’t call me that?” Logan said reefing to the name

“ok you too” I said playing the role of the mediator before the matter become heated “Logan why don’t you see the what the Alpha king and his army doing, while I practice with Iris and Andrea ..” who is standing quietly in corner of the room “and when I’m done I’ll come and find you”

“but Adam it’s not the time to think about such things, especially now, when things are blowing out proportions” Iris exclaimed “would you rather see your family getting brutally slaughtered in front of your eyes or would you rather see your mate and his pack getting split or even swiped off without any one left to tell the tale even”

“Iris is right Adam” Andrea spoke for the first time “it’s not the time to think, it’s time to take action and if our sanity is at stake, so be it. It’s better than losing it all” she gazed firmly into my eyes “take from someone who has nothing?”

Even I can comprehend what to say next; we heard shout from the outside of the pack house, without any hesitation we raced out front to see what is chaos for, and the scene is none to serene, it was clear warning either to back down and comply to their wishes or be ready for the blood bath. Before I lost control, I took a deep, pleading breath and schooled my emotions and stepped beside my mate, who had a note in his hand “what does it say?” I ask, averting my eyes from the mattered body of one of the pack members, which was beyond recognizable.

“Why don’t you read yourself” Logan handed me the note to read

“It’s time to decide, bow down to me and together we conquer the world or ready for the river of blood” by dearest mommy

The anger consumed by my veins was nothing I experienced before. I crushed the note in my hands, and barked orders towards the pack to take care of the body. Next, mind linked my family to be gathered in the Roman’s house for the quick meeting, because the shit has finally hit the ceiling.

Logan was busy with the pack members taking the report from his gamma of today’s event , quickly telling him that I have something to do. Together with Andrea and Iris, we reached the Roman house where I found all of them gathered, with the tense look on their faces.

“we heard what happened” Emma was the first one to break the silence “she came stronger than before.”

“I’m ashamed that she gave birth to us” it was Joshua who said this.

“I know what you guys are feeling, because I’m feeling exactly the same maybe, ten folds more than you” I said quietly taking seat beside Jeremy “but this time we are not letting her win, because this time we will have upper hand, and she is the one who will be bowing down to us”

“I know this ain’t gonna be easy, but we have to make it work” I continued “I don’t want to lose any of you, you guys are my family that I can’t lose and I won’t “ I said firmly “but I need you guys to focus and use best of your powers, she doesn’t know that Jeremy here also inherited the power of, shield just like Emma but, he is much more stronger, I want you two to, surround the whole pack with it, and especially the area where all the children and pack will be kept for their safety.” I paused to see their faces for any form of hesitation or fear but I found none.

“Joshua you know you can heal any wolf faster and can form the invisible cloak so, please be the invisible power that this pack needs, and please be safe and Roman you just know what to do”

“You don’t worry Jamie” Roman said sitting beside and putting his arm on my a shoulder “this time it’s her who will be destroyed for once and all”

“I hope you are right” I said “I love you guys”

“And we love you too Jamie,” said Jeremy, hugging me tightly.

Much later in the evening escorting all the pack members in the hands of safety and providing them with the necessity and we ll are gathered with the fellow pack Alphas and the Alpha king himself with his army officials we were gathered in the pack house quietly sitting taking, while some of them went sleeping, but Logan, my brothers and I with fellow Alphas were sitting talking about some strategies with the iris, Andrea and the king, when a guard stepped inside the house and hesitantly told us there is some women is here and asking to meet me.

“Alpha she is asking to meet Alpha Adam” Rem the guard said to Logan.

“What woman and at this hour of night” Logan said all defensive and possessive, but it intrigued me a woman here to meet me, but why?

“Let her in Rem” I said before Logan grilled the poor guard any more.

“Are you crazy Jamie?” Logan asked me flabbergasted “all we know she is another psycho bitch”

“Let us hear what she has to say before, jumping to any conclusions” I pointed out “she might be a helping hand we need”

“Let her” I again said to Rem, with the bow he again disappeared behind the door and after few seconds re-entered the room with the tall, black haired girl with blue green eyes and disappeared again with the quiet bow, before any of us could say anything the girl who happen to look lot like my brother and I spoke “Who is Adam Jamie Ryker amongst you?” gusty I noted and she knows my name too.

“That would be me,” I said standing up to match her height and asked “and you are…”

“I’m Delilah” she paused and eyed us carefully “Delilah Rose Ryker, apparently I’m your sister”
