Chapter Twenty-seven

(Alexander POV)

My little moon was crying and screaming as she grabbed her arms. I tried to get her to let me see what was wrong and when I got her to let me see I was shocked to see blood going down her arms. It looks like marks that came from someone’s claws being dug into her skin. The sight of the blood and ragged by it brought me out of the spell linking my moon with me. When I woke up, I was back in the van with King Darius, Queen Aiden, Xavier, Dani, and David. My sister decided that she wanted to stay with her new niece and nephew. I was surprised to see that her and David had already marked each other on the first night together. I thought she would want to be marked in front of the pack all royals usually do, but I guess that is her decision to make. I looked around the van to see almost everyone looking at me but David since he was driving.

“King Alexander, what happen?”

“I made connected with my moon.”

“And? How is my daughter doing?”

“How she’s doing? Well, at first everything was going alright until her arms started to bleed as if someone was grabbing her and digging their nails into her skin. I don’t know what’s happening and I’m worry that something bad is happening to her.”

“Don’t worry because we’re here to get her out.”

I looked up as we stopped to see a large home Victorian type house. The stonework mixed with the wooden panels and the house being by Lake Michigan made this place like it came from fairy tale story. I hurried to get out and ran as fast as I could to the house to get to my moon as fast as my legs. There was a large spiral staircase as I burst through the front door leading to the second story. I smelled the air to see if I could follow my little moon scent to find where she was being kept but her screams told me exactly where to find her. When I get to the door to break it down to see a man on top of my moon and I didn’t like it at all. It made me want to kill him because I can tell he was hurting her as I realize he was trying to mark her for his own.

I had to get him off her, but I also had to be careful not to hurt her as I got him off. I finally got him off that felt like a was removing a starving wild animal from its food. I threw him across the room as he bears his fangs to me showing me how unpleased he is with me, but I couldn’t give a damn. I didn’t know what to do, but I did know that I can’t take my eyes off this guy that seems to be taken over by his wolf. Not even to check on my moon, because you never turn your back on a uncontrol wolf. The guy was around my height, dark short hair, dark beard, dark blue eyes, and medium build.

“Move out of my way you damn mutt. Get away from my angel, our mate for life.”

“What are you talking about? This is my mate, Aurora.”

“No, she is my mate Aiden. She is my angel and my whole world.”

What is he talking about? Has his wolf lost it or something to think Aurora is Queen Aiden for some reason and who is he to her?

“Who are you?”

“My name little pup is Revon and you’re in my way to my mate.”

“Brother, what are you doing?”

I looked over to the door to see that King Darius was standing there looking at the wild wolf and wait did he just called him his brother. So, does that mean that he is Prince Darian and Aurora real father, but why is he trying to mark his own pup? Is he losing himself to the wolf?

“No Darius, I’m not Darian. I’m Revon and won’t let you take Bella away from me ever again.”

“What are you talking about? That girl on the bed isn’t Aiden, that is your pup, Aurora. Can’t you see that my brother. I didn’t mean to take Aiden and Bella away from you, but she is also our mate as well.”

“No, you’re lying to us again.”

“Darian, what where you doing to our daughter?” Queen Aiden walked into the room looking toward Aurora as she closed her eyes and when she reopens them, they were no longer a bright blue bit an icy blue instead. “Revon, what the hell do you think you’re doing to our pup?”

“Bella? Bella is that you my snow angel?”

“Yes, and that girl on the bed that you try marking is our pup, Kamaria.”

“No, please say it isn’t so. What have I done?”

He then dropped onto the floor looking so lost and confused that I wanted to hate him, but I just felt sorry for him because I knew that could have been me. He has been away from his mate for over twenty years, and I almost lost myself with being away from my little moon for four years. Wait, what am I doing? I should be checking on my moon. I looked over to her and seen that not only was there blood on both arms but there was also blood on the left side of her neck as well. Did he mark my moon, but as I got closer to checking on it, I discovered that the bite mark is shallow. Even though it didn’t really break the skin, she was still sweating and seemed like she was having a fever.

“King Darius, Queen Aiden please come here. Something is wrong with Aurora.”

Aiden ran over to the bed to my moon’s side. She moved her head to get a better look at her neck but looked back at Revon growling at him.

“What the hell did you think you were doing to her? You could had killed her if it weren’t for the idea that her true mate is here with us.”

“I’m so sorry my angel. I don’t understand what happened or what I was thinking. I would never want to hurt my pup. She’s all I have in this world that’s mine.”

“What are you talking about Queen Aiden? Is my little moon going to make it?”

“Yes, but only because you’re here. He tried marking someone who wasn’t his mate and the fact that she didn’t agree to the mark that now her body is trying to reject it. The fact that he is of royal blood her body isn’t strong enough to fight it off. So, you’re going to need to mark her yourself to help her fight this.”

My hand went to her face as I brushed her hair away.

“Little moon, do you hear me?”

“Alex, is that really you? Did you finally come to take me home?”

“Yes, my little moon.”

“Alex, it hurts. My neck feels like it’s on fire. Please make it stop, please stop it from hurting.”

“Don’t worry about my moon. I’ll make the pain go away by marking you myself. Do you accept my mark, Aurora?”

“Yes, Alex I do.”

I moved her hair from her neck as my mouth goes to it the mark that was force onto by her own father. I tried to lick the wound to help take the pain away from it but wasn’t sure it was working until I heard her breathing started to get faster. I worked my mouth onto it until my fangs came out and I bit down onto my moon’s neck as she wrapped her arms around me my neck and then I can feel as well as smell her arousal making me want more of her. I remove my fangs from her neck as I lick the new mark on my moon’s neck that I made making not just me pleased but also Hunter as well. I licked as I heard someone behind me clearing their throat and I realized that I wasn’t alone in this room. How could I have forgotten something like that. I slowly raised my head to them, whipping the blood off my mouth wondering how far I would have gone if no one else was in there. I then looked over to Queen Aiden who was still glaring at Darian that still seemed to be in shock.

“Queen Aiden, can you please check on Aurora?”

“Sure, King Alexander.”

She came over to Aurora to make sure she was doing alright, but I can tell for some reason she didn’t want to take her eyes off Darian. I looked over to him and could tell he was losing it in a bad way. I can see his mouth moving but I’m not catching on to what he’s saying before I knew it his eyes were on me. His eyes were no longer human, it seems as if his wolf has taken control and now, we all need to have our guard. I hurry up to put myself between him and my moon to protect her with my life. I guess that made everyone look at me wondering what was going on.

“King Alexander, what’s wrong?”

Everyone then looked to where my attention was and realized the same thing I knew to be happening, Darien was losing himself to the wild nature of his wolf Revon. He was losing the human part of him, and he didn’t snap out of it, he may never be human again. We all hear these bones starting to break, shifting into their wolf form.

“Get away from what is mine. She belongs to me and not you.”

“Darien please, don’t do this.”

“Shut up my angel, you chose my brother over me. I’m not Darien, I’m Revon now and forever. I’m leaving now but I will be back for what is mine.”

When he was finally in wolf form, he jumped through the bedroom window smashing the glass everywhere. We all decided that we needed to get Aurora out of there now. I picked her up bridal style after Queen Aiden was finished patching up the wound on her neck. We ran into some pack members named Sinan and Sinclair; they both were telling me how sorry they both were. Sinclair told me if they knew that Revon was the one to tell them to leave Aurora with him that they would never have left him alone with her. I didn’t respond to them and had David talk to them for me so I could get my moon out of them to get back to our pups.
