Chapter No 50 Piece of My heart

“My daughter survived?” asked Althea with tears in her eyes.

“Yeah, Hazel is your daughter,” Jacob said.

Althea fell on her knees on the floor with joy. Jacob walked ahead in order to mollify her.

“I thought, I thought she was dead,” she said in a whisper.

“Hazel? She is Alpha’s daughter?” Zoe was shocked.

“We have to get our princess back safely,” said Kyden angrily.

“This all happened because of some stupid charm, I don’t have enough time to tell you, we have to safe Hazel first, You have to come with me Althea, our Hazel is in danger,” Jacob said.

“Let’s go now, it’s Aria, she said they already are in River-stone” said Charlie.

Eden was about to mark Patricia. Hazel was feeling sharp pain in her mark which was spreading. She was feeling as if her skin was tearing apart.

“Stop there,” she screams.

Everyone stopped and turned towards her.

“Hazel?” said Kai and Carmen together.

“What are you doing here?” Carmen asked angrily.

“How dare you try to mark my mate?” she screams. She walked towards the place where they were standing.

“Your mate? He is my mate, why don’t you leave us alone?” screamed Patricia while pushing her.

“He is mine,” screams Hazel.

“What is happening here?” they heard a deep voice. They turned to look, it was Tyler. Julia was with him as well.

“You? You again? How dare you come here?” Julia snapped.

She turned towards them and they both gasped as if they were watching ghosts.

Tyler was jaw dropped. Hazel was confused why they all were looking at her like this. Then her gaze fell on the nearby mirror. Her wig was gone. Her father’s features were clearly dominant in her without any makeover due to shift. She felt like a criminal.

Tyler walked slowly towards her.

“Who are you?” he groaned. She was speechless.

“Speak” he said loudly with anger. She looked up inside his eyes and said.

“I am your daughter” there were tears in her eyes. He looked deeply inside her eyes. Their eyes lock, only if his wolf was there, he could scream that she is his pup. Patricia ran in between them facing Hazel.

“You slut, first she tried to steal my mate and now she is trying to steal my father,” Patricia was exploding due to anger.

“He is my father and he is my mate,” screams Hazel while pointing at Eden, today was the day when Hazel lost every control on her emotions.

Julia has walked ahead and grabs Hazel’s shoulder facing her.

“I am his mate and I am the only one who he had a daughter with” Julia snapped and slapped her. Putting her hand on her face, she looked at her father, who was standing expressionless. A tear fell from her eyes; Tyler felt a piece of his heart cut open. He opens his mouth to speak when he feels his words are not coming out.

“Dad, I am your daughter,” she said, crying.

“Shut up,” Julia raised her hand again but Tyler held her hand in the middle.

“Don’t,” he snapped. His expressions were telling how much he struggling with himself.

She turned towards Eden. She looked inside his deep blue eyes.

“Eden, have you not remembered anything? Eden it’s me, if you will mark her, you are going to kill us both and our baby, here feel it, it’s your baby, it’s our baby” Hazel said while putting his hand over her stomach.

“Stop this nonsense and take this abomination out” said Peter, Tyler’s father who was ex Alpha of the River-stone.

The guards went ahead to seize her but as they walked closer, something invisible stopped them. There was bright glowing light around Eden and Hazel. Patricia ran towards Julia and put her hand on her shoulder.

“Mom,” said Patricia, afraid. Julia was terrified.

Hazel was embracing her mate. She hugs him and after a while the bright light turns even brighter. Everyone closed their eyes.

After a while when they opened their eyes, they saw Eden was kissing Hazel.

Patricia was jaw dropped. Eden was kissing her passionately. He lets her go slowly and messes his lips with hers’ something he always does to tease her.

“You are back,” she said in a whisper.

“Back to the one I love,” he said while looking inside her eyes.

“She bewitched my mate again,” said Patricia, crying.

“Look, she is the witch, attack her” said Julia.

Althea was watching River-stone after many years. A lot of memories are now running in front of her eyes.

“It’s still same” she said in a whisper.

“Welcome back home,” said Jacob.

“River-stone is huge,” said Kyden.

“This way” said Jacob.

The guards were coming towards her to attack her but Eden came in between and punched them.

There was war inside the hall. Justin got in and stood beside Hazel and Eden in order to fight.

They were fighting, when Patricia walked towards Hazel slowly, she had a knife in her hand. She was walking carefully towards her and then she stabbed, but Caleb came in between them. He was stabbed by Patricia.

“Caleb” screamed Hazel. He fell down.

She was lying on the bed and listening to music and reading books as she did not want to attend any freaking mating ceremony. Suddenly her heart races fast. She got up, she had a panic attack.

“Caleb, no” she said and ran down to the hall. Much to her horror Caleb had fallen on floor stab, she ran towards her brother.

“Caleb, no, no, no” she said while leaning on him.

“Willow?” said Caleb.

“Brother, no, don’t you dare to leave me,” she said crying, it was the first time in life she was crying. She was showing emotions. Everyone was looking at her shocked.

“Caleb, no, no,” she said while holding him. “What have you done to my brother,” she screamed while looking at Patricia.

“Caleb, no,” Aria also ran towards him.

“We have to get out of here” said Justin while punching a guard. Eden, who was fighting, turned towards them and helped Caleb who got up on his feet, but he was bleeding and looked exhausted.

“Take him out, I will cover it” said Justin.

“Me too,” said Willow.

Eden and Hazel looked at her.

“I will fight for my brother,” she said. “Go,” she screamed.

They left with Caleb making their way.

Willow punches a guard. Justin was fighting by her side. She was about to be hit by Patricia when Justin rescued her.

“Enough,” they heard a voice behind them. They all froze. It was Althea and Jacob.

“You? What the hell are you doing here?” asked Julia.

“None of your business bitch,” said Althea while walking towards Justin and Willow.

“My brother, he is in trouble, I have to heal him fast,” Willow whispered.

“I will take you there,” said Justin.

“Why on the earth are you beating my pack warrior?” Althea asked while narrowing her eyes towards Julia.

“We are un-beatable” said Justin.

They all turned, warriors of the Floroscura pack were standing on the door and they had dangerous expressions.

“I hope Alpha, you don’t want bloodshed here” said Jacob while passing through the crowd.

“Take me to my brother as soon as possible,” Willow was pleading to Justin, he looked inside her eyes and stopped dead for a while.

“Let’s go,” he said and walked through the crowd. They were too busy watching Jacob. They have not noticed them.

“Jacob, you traitor,,” said Tyler angrily.

“Sorry bro, that’s all I am doing for us,” said Jacob.

“Enough,” said Julia.

“We are leaving peacefully, if any of you have a problem, I am going to declare a war” said Althea while looking straight at Tyler.

She walked through the crowd followed by Jacob and the warriors.

“They must have gone to the pack house,” said Justin.

“My brother. I can feel our bond is fading, My brother is in trouble” said Willow crying.

They were running from River-stone as fast as they could. Eden has looked behind any wolf chasing them. The passageway was empty.

“Eden, he is bleeding. We have to do something” said Hazel. Eden looked worried and tense too.

“My sister, she could heal me” said Caleb with pain.

“Will she come?” asked Hazel.

“She will come,” said Eden and they both exchange looks. “I have seen this in her eyes,” said Eden. Caleb was whining due to pain.

“We need to do something,” said Eden.

“Caleb?” someone calls Caleb’s name in his head.

“Not you, at this moment,” he said.

“What happened?” asked Hazel.

“The voice, it’s again” said Caleb.

Hazel looks at Eden and shrugs.

“Caleb, there is a cave nearby, I hope I can trust other people with you” said the voice.

“Where?” repeats Caleb.

“Seems like it affects his brains” said Eden.

“Guys, help me walk, we need to go to a nearby cave” said Caleb.

“What cave?” Eden asked.

“Trust me I know,” he said.

Eden has helped him walk.

They walked for ten minutes and much to their surprise, they reached the cave.

“Are you sure? We should go in?” asked Hazel.

“I trust this voice, more than anything” said Caleb, he was bleeding heavily.

“We don’t have any other option,” said Eden.

“Caleb, come in” said the voice.

“See, it’s calling me again,” said Caleb.

The trio got inside the cave.

The cave was a bit lighted by candles. It was a bit eerie inside. Eden held Hazel’s hand and spread his arm around her shoulder.

“Hello,” said Caleb.

After a while they saw two figure, due to darkness they were unable to see who it was.

“Caleb, you are here my child,” said a female voice. He looked deep inside the darkness.

“That voice, that’s you, you the one who talks to me in my head since childhood,” said Caleb excitedly.

“Nice work my dear, you helped us a lot” said the woman.

“Who are you?” asked Hazel.

The woman turned towards the candle enlightening her features. They gasped with amazement.

“How can it be?” said Eden shocked.

36 Years ago

I was the only daughter of Alpha Jackson and Luna Emerald, so definitely I would be the Alpha of the River-stone. Time at that era was calm and happy, there was no war, no discrimination. Everything was perfect. I was a happy and shy girl; I used to live in my own world.

It was my first day at high school, I asked my father not to tell who I was. I wanted to hide my status as River-stone princess because I wanted to feel and be treated normal at the school.

I went as a commoner, no royalty at all. At first I did not want to leave the pack house as my mother was pregnant and I wanted to see the first glimpse of my brother.

Yes, we already know the gender. I was so happy for my brother.

The school was huge, I mean really, really huge. I was looking for girl’s dormitory. I was too exhausted after a long trip, all I wanted was deep sleep.

Finally I found the board with the dormitory written over it. I went inside in a rush. Something was odd about this place, Boys were playing with each other cheerfully,

Some of them were chasing each other, few of them smoking. I was walking through the corridor. Unconditionally, I was feeling a lot of curious eyes over me.

I took out the parchment with my room number on it, 203. I went on looking over the numbers on the doors, walking without looking ahead. My focus was only on the doors, when suddenly someone collided with me.

I was about to fall when he held me. I looked up, I have never seen this much handsome face in my entire life, he was handsome.

He had a long nose, small full lips and sharp features. There was anger in his deep grey eyes. He slowly let me go until I made my balance again.

“I am sorry,” I said, avoiding his eyes, who was still looking at me furiously. Without a word he bends down and picks his books up, looks at me nastily and leaves.

That’s when I saw him first, it was not attraction neither love, it was annoyance all I felt, I mean he was rude.

Everyone in the dormitory was secretly laughing over me, I looked up and much to my horror it was written “Boy’s dormitory”.

“Shit, I messed it up,” I said. I ran back towards the exit as fast as I could.

“Tiana, you always end up in such situations,” I scold myself.

Out of the boy’s dormitory I saw him again, he was talking to some random guy of his age. Our eyes met for a while but he turned his gaze away while talking.

There was something about him, very odd. If he isn’t doing anything still he attracts attention.

I wanted to ask about the girl’s dormitory. So I called the person standing next to him.

“Hello, can you help me with girl’s dormitory?” I asked without looking at him but I could feel his annoyance.

“Yeah, sure, it’s right there, walk straight and turn right,” said the boy next to him.

“Thank you,” I said and turned. But I could still feel two eyes over my back.

I finally found my room; I lay down and while putting my luggage in the corner. I was feeling so exhausted that I fell asleep fast. I woke up when my phone rang, I grabbed it, it was my mum. She must be worried.

“Hy mum,” I said shortly after answering the call.

“Yeah, I am in my room safely,” I said.

“Don’t worry mum, just take care of my little brother,” I said.

“Yeah, I will be there during vacations or I will ask for a leave during your due date,” I said.

“Okay mum, talk to you later I have to settle my luggage,” I said and hung up.

I was staring at the roof and wondering which dream I was in and two grey eyes came in my mind.
