Chapter No 40 Alpha of Floroscura Pack

A woman who had purple eyes and long blond hair going down to her knees was walking gracefully with proud facial expressions down the stairs. There was a tall man who had the same purple eyes. He was walking beside her while showing a lot of respect for her.

There was a woman on her left side who had long light brown hair and she had the same purple eyes. She looked so powerful that every Alpha in the hall was tense around her presence. A head member of the council walked ahead and greeted her with a smile.

“Welcome to the council castle Alpha,” he said softly.

The man who was standing behind her moved forward.

“Mr. Charlie, we are here because you have requested and need our help for your continuous conflict with rogues,” he said.

Hazel was looking at them with shocking expressions.

“Mom, that’s my mom,” she said in a whisper, and then Clair took over and her eyes turned bright purple. She moved forward towards her when Julius asked Eden to take her out.

He grabbed her from the waist. She was resisting when he turned her face towards him and held her arms softly.

“This is our Alpha Althea,” said the man while bowing in front of Althea. She was looking around expressionlessly.

“Come with me,” Eden said in a whisper. Clair felt calm and left with him.

“So Luna Althea, you are Luna of Floroscura Pack?” asked Alpha Alfred of Ash Band pack.

She looked at him without any expressions.

“Yes I am,” she said shortly.

Now everyone was looking at her, including Tyler and Julia. Patricia narrowed her eyes.

“We never heard about your pack before, who are you? And how come you show up just like this?” asked Alfred.

“We have been here since the very beginning and we did not just show up, we were invited,” said the man standing beside her.

“We were watching over every pack for ages, it’s all like we stopped showing since our ancestor Alpha lost his mate centuries ago,” said the woman who was standing beside Althea.

She was looking around as if she was looking at something very nasty.

“Evelyn Calm down,” said the man who was standing next to her.

“I am calm Rowan,” she said while rolling her eyes.

“Which clan your wolf belongs to?” asked Alpha Alfred.

The woman who was standing behind Althea rolled her eyes.

“Is it not obvious? We are Canis Lupus” she said with a bit of anger. The man gave her a sigh as if he was telling her to calm down.

“What? How can it be?.” the crowd started muttering.

“There are? How can it be?”

“What? Canis lupus? Do they exist? They are Canis lupus” the crowd started muttering even more.

“Now if you stopped gossiping and muttering I want the real reason why we have been invited here?” asked Althea who spoke for the first time... Everyone was looking at them with horror.

She was wearing a long red gown which was going down to the floor. She looked so beautiful and attractive like a goddess.

“We don’t have enough time as we have to run our pack,” she said while looking at Tyler with cold eyes who was looking at her expressionless. Julia was now looking at her like she had seen a ghost.

“Canis Lupus? What? All we know is that it has gone extinct,” said a council member.

“Breaking connection with the outer world does not mean we are extinct,” said the man air quoting his fingers.

Althea walked towards the stairs and stood a few steps up so everyone could see her.

“I am Queen of Canis Lupus and Alpha of Floroscura Pack, I did not want to come here as what’s happening in others’ pack is none of my concern as I am not Queen to entire werewolf race but just mine,” she said while looking at Tyler and then to his arm, Julia was holding his arm.

“Anything useful for this evening, we better go back. I have to run my pack?” she said confidently.

“It’s Althea, look how graceful and confident she is now,” said Grace happily.

“She is alive,” whispered Julius.

“Wanda, Mateo, and Alex will love to know,” said Grace.

“Is this Aunt Althea? Should we go and meet her?” asked Carmen happily.

“Not now honey, she is in the meeting and we have to keep everything secret,” said Fred.

“Clair Relax, I am here, I will never leave your side,” he said while kissing her forehead. Judi and Ethan also came towards the backyard.

“What happened bro?” asked Ethan.

“It’s Althea, she is alive,” he said, looking so tense.

“Alpha Tyler’s mate?” asked Judi.

“Yeah, Hazel’s wolf has recognized her as her mother and she is getting out of control,” he said.

“Clair you have to calm down, one move could destroy the plan,” said Judi.

“But she is my mum, I can’t resist her,” she said with tears in her eyes. Eden turned her towards himself and cupped her face in his strong hands.

“You know I can’t see you sad my Luna,” he said in a very deep voice.

“Guys Luna of Floroscura Pack is giving the speech,” said Noah who came in their direction.

“It’s Althea, Hazel’s mum bro,” said Judi.

“I know, Fred has told me inside,” he said sadly.

“I think we should go inside,” said Noah.

They all walked ahead. Clair held his hand strongly. “Relax,” he said in a whisper. She took a deep breath and her eyes turned blue again.

“So anything important?” asked Althea.

“We called you because we need your help. Your pack is too strong, rogues are attacking us” said the council member.

“Mr. Qin, I am sorry, but I can’t help you, we don’t want our hands to get dirty in the mess of somebody else. By the way, these are just rogues, and rogues are meant to be lower in status, aren’t they? You should fight them, capture them or even kill them” she said while looking in the direction where Tyler was standing, he was looking at her expressionlessly. Julia has put her hand on his chest.

All the council members were looking at her in shock. “So I think, everything is clear, we should leave now,” she said and turned to leave.

“Mum,” Hazel was about to call her when Julia spoke.

“Well, Well, Well, now I recognize you, she is that killer rogue who killed a girl in our pack and ran,” she said bitterly. Althea stopped, she was not facing them, so they were unable to know what her expressions were.

Evelyn walked ahead to make a move, when Althea raised her hand and kept her from moving forward. She turned around and walked towards the direction where Julia was standing. She was walking so gracefully and looked like a genuine queen, in contrast to her Julia was looking nothing like Luna.

“What is she doing?” asked Grace.

“I am curious too,” said Julius.

Julia was looking at her with nasty expressions. Althea stopped in front of her and smirked and moments later she slapped Julia on her face.

“I am not a Rogue bitch, I am a Queen to Canis Lupus, a very strong clan in the whole werewolf race, I am a storm enough to blow you into embarrassment and as for you, you are that bitch who ate my left over,” she said while looking at Tyler, who looked inside her eyes, he felt his heart race faster.

There were a few moments when they got lost in each other’s eyes and then she turned to leave. Julia was looking at her with horrible expressions.

“You bitch who the hell you think you are? Did you hit my mother? Luna of the Werewolf race” said Patricia and she ran towards Althea to beat her. Evelyn was standing too far from her.

Hazel ran towards them and came in between them.

“Don’t you dare to touch her, I will break your arm this time instead of your pretty face,” she said in a tensed and deep voice that Patricia felt her soul shattering.

She turned to face Althea, who looked inside her eyes for a while and she felt her expressions become softened.

“Which pack do you belong to?” Althea asked her expressionlessly.

“North-pole, she is my mate,” said Eden who came ahead and stood beside her. She looked at Eden for a while and then turned.

“Did you see that? She does not got surprised” said Grace, shocked.

“No honey, maybe she also wants to keep it a secret,” said Julius.

“Alpha? Are you sure? You are not going to help us?” asked Quinn.

“Anything left? I and my pack are not going to be involved in your war against rogues, you start it you gonna end it” she said while turning towards Tyler, and then she left followed by Evelyn and Rowan.

“I can’t believe mum is alive, she did not recognize me. Why did she not give a reaction when she saw me and heard about the north pole?” she said sadly.

“Hey don’t be sad, you should be happy as your mum is alive,” said Eden.

“Althea is alive?” asked Wanda and Mateo in one voice.

“Yeah she is,” said Eden.

“Then why is she not here?” asked Wanda.

“I am afraid we also don’t know,” said Julius.

“She knew we were there but she did not have any reaction over that,” said Grace.

“What’s the mystery behind this? How did she survive?” asked Alex.

“I am happy she is alive,” said Julius.

“What’s the plan now?” asked Alex.

“Althea is the Alpha of the strongest pack, we have to meet her, I know she will not refuse us,” said Julius.

“My mum is like my dad, she did not recognize me,” said Hazel sadly.

“No don’t be sad, there must be a reason for this,” said Alex.

“What reason? I am tired of hearing reasons, it seems like the moon Goddess is playing games with me” she said angrily and left, followed by Eden.

“Whoa that was rock Al, I didn’t know that you gonna slap that bitch,” said Evelyn happily.

“She slapped her?” asked Harper.

“Yeah she did, that bitch was being rude to her,” said Evelyn.

“Did you see him?” asked Harper. Althea’s expressions turned to stone. Evelyn’s smile faded and she gave Harper a warning look.

Evelyn was Delta of the pack after her parents and she was also a strong head warrior in the pack.

“He was there,” said Althea expressionless. “With that bitch who killed my child,” she said while tightening her fist. Both girls exchange sad looks.

“I am sorry Althea, you have to see those jerks again,” Harper said while putting a hand on her shoulder.

“I will avenge my child no matter what,” she said while clenching her teeth.

16 years ago

She opened her eyes; the room was full of darkness. She was chained by the wolf’s bane iron. She was feeling so weak now.

She touched her stomach to know if her baby is fine. Her wolf was trying hard to keep it safe. She heard footsteps. She looked up, it was the same scent she had always felt when she was in danger.

“Bitch, how about now?” he said in a sinister voice. She was unable to see his face. She looked at the back and a girl was standing there smirking. She narrowed her eyes to look. It was Julia.

“Bitch, you are becoming a fear for me and my love life, with this bastard child of yours,” she said angrily.

“It will be better if we end this thing once and for all,” said the man.

“No, No, not my baby,” she said, begging.

“Not like this, I want this bitch to be tortured, I have seen her getting in my way for ages, torturing her will make it fine, I want her to lose her baby and suffer,” Julia said angrily. Althea was trying hard to look at the face of the man, but due to the darkness, she was unable to see him.

They tortured her for months, she was now heavily pregnant her wolf used all of its energy in protecting the baby. There was a hole over the roof where they were keeping her. The moon was appearing full. She looked at the moon.

“Oh moon goddess I have never complained about my misery and I never will, but please save my baby from these monsters,” she said crying, and then she felt a sharp pain. She was gone in labor pain. Due to her painful pregnancy and wolf exhaustion, her labor was more painful than normal labor. After hours of deadly pain, she pushed harder and fell unconscious.

She regained her consciousness with the sounds of sparrows, it was early morning. She got up slowly trying to recognize her surroundings. She touched her stomach, something she does daily. She felt something different. She looked down, Her dress was all bloody and then she remembered what happened last night.

“My baby?” She looked hysterical.

“My baby? Where is my baby,” she screamed. She was looking around madly.

“They took my baby,” she screamed.
