Chapter No 39 Royal Meeting

She got up early in the morning. She felt a strong warm body backside and soft breaths on her neck. She tiredly recognized her surroundings, it was not her room. She looked around while lifting her head. His large photo was hanging on the wall, he was smiling in it and it was the first time she had seen him smiling and the picture was smiling at him.

She turned to face him and he was sleeping peacefully. His expressions were soft; she had never seen him this calm. She touched his silky blond hair and smiled.

“I know your mate is handsome,” he said without opening his eyes. She smiled.

“He is more than handsome,” she said softly. He opened his eyes and hugged her and pulled her closer. She touched his face and moved her hand on his chest. He was wearing a necklace. She recognized it.

“You had my necklace?” she asked, surprised. He smiled.

“During all this time, I thought I lost it,” she said.

“It was with me, I fell for you when the day I saw you, at my room’s door, I was afraid if you were not my mate,” he said.

“But you were rude to me and that day with Fred, you were jealous, weren’t you?” she asked. He chuckled in return.

“A big bad wolf does not like his red riding hood touched by any other wolf, she is all mine,” he said and kissed her.

He moved his hand in her hair and then to her arm, he noticed something. There were scars on her arms and a few parts of her body had burn marks. He felt anger rush into his body.

“Clam down, I am fine,” she said while putting her hand over his cheek.

He looked inside her eyes.

“I Promise you, Hazel, I will never let anyone hurt you, I promise no matter what, I will never let you go, I promise Hazel no one will touch you again,” he said and kissed her over her forehead. She smiled.

“I don’t know who I am as I never knew my parents, I promise you, Eden, wherever I will be I belong to you,” she said in a whisper.

“I won’t let my Red Riding hood go,” he said chuckled.

“My big bad wolf,” she said while looking inside his deep blue eyes.

She climbs up on him and took charge.

She was standing in front of the mirror observing her neck. He marked her last night. She does not know about this whole werewolf thing, living her life in foster care she does not know that she will get something so precious, something powerful, something humans called to love and the werewolf says “Mate”. She touched her mark and smiled on her reflection.

“Hazel, do you think you are someone so special who deserves this?” she whispered.

“Yes you are……you are everything I love” she heard his voice from behind, and he came out of the shower. The towel wrapped his perfect body. There were water drops over his chest. She gulped.

He walked slowly towards her and wrapped his arms around her waist. He kissed her lips softly.

“You just took bath,” she said, resisting.

“I don’t care,” he said and dragged her on the bed.

“But I tried as much as I could, it even glowed as you said but it did not work,” she said loudly.

“You are useless,” said a man angrily.

“What’s the plan?” asked the woman.

“I have received a letter from werewolf council today and every pack’s Alpha and Luna are going over there, even the new mysterious pack’s Alpha of Floroscura Pack is invited there as well, so all of them are going, I also want to know who is this Alpha, as it is becoming strongest pack, even stronger than River-stone,” she said angrily.

“That’s a good idea my Luna, go there and gather information about who they are,” he said.

“If Althea was here she would have fainted,” said Mateo.

“Yeah, I never had thought Eden’s mate would be Althea’s daughter,” said Grace.

“I am so happy for both of them,” said Alex.

Eden and Hazel got down the stairs and now they were walking towards the Kitchen where everyone was having breakfast.

He put his arm around her waist. Kai coughed and Wanda hit him softly on the head and he started laughing.

“New couple to our pack,” said Kylian.

“Not only,” said Zyair while pointing at the empty chair where Carmen used to sit.

“Carmen? Where is she?” asked Wanda.

“Go on, tell her,” said Kylian mischievously to Kai.

“Tell me what?” she asked, shocked.

“Mom actually….” Kai tried to say something.

“Mom she found her mate,” said Ryan, instantly. Kai looks at his brother in disappointment.

“Come on bro, I hates dramas,” said Ryan, exhausted.

“What? She is only 16” said Wanda, shocked.

“Who is he?” asked Mateo.

“Fred,” said Zyair.

“Well Fred is a nice guy,” said Grace.

“But she is too young,” said Wanda.

“Fred is 18 and he found her as he is Alpha,” said Julius who had just entered the kitchen.

“And where is she now?” asked Wanda while looking at Kai.

“Fred’s place,” said Kylian.

“Oh Moon Goddess these wild wolves,” she said while taking a deep breath.

“Yeah you should write moon goddess a letter and tell her that mate should be found by the age 22 or 82,” said Mateo and she rolled her eyes.

“From the letter, I have come to remember that there is a royal Ball tonight, and all the Alpha and Luna are invited,” said Julius.

“Which means Eden and Hazel could go too?” asked Kylian.

“Yeah they should go, as all current and upcoming Alphas are invited,” he said while eating bread.

Eden was drinking juice. He looked at Hazel and winked at her, she smiled as her heart beat fast.

Eden was gone with Weavers and she was looking inside her cupboard when Zyair came inside the room, she threw her jacket which he dodged.

“Whoa, you look so rough, did he get hard on you last night?” he asked, mischievously.

“We are going to a ball tonight and I don’t have anything to wear,” she said, annoyed.

“Well your shopping queen is here,” she heard a voice behind her, she turned it was Carmen.

“Whoa thank God, you are here,” she said.

“Well I was with Fred and his wolf was becoming aggressive when he heard weavers calling him when he was with me so I came here late,” she said, Zyair rolled his eyes.

“Mate bond is like girl in her PMS,” he said and left the room.

“Well, what we got here?” she asked.

“Royal meeting,” she said, exhausted.

“You are going?” she asked. “Oh I remember you are Eden’s mate, all of the current and upcoming Alphas are going,” she said.

“So that means you are coming as well?” she asked and she nodded.

“Fred is upcoming Alpha too,” she said.

“I am confused about what to wear,” she said.

“There is only one way and that’s shopping,” she said.

“Carmen? But my looks” she said.

“Well don’t worry I will give you a makeover where you will look different than your father looks,” she said.

She was wearing a beautiful long backless dress, Carmen had given her new looks by beautiful makeover and hairstyle.

“Whoa you are my fairy godmother,” she said. “Yeah and you are Cinderella,” she said.

“We thought it was a red riding hood” he heard his beautiful voice behind. She turned and her jaw dropped.

Eden was wearing a black dress shirt with a red tie, his blond hair was styled in spikes.

“Bro you took your mate’s breath,” said Zyair while putting his hand on Fred’s shoulder who was standing like a sculpture.

“Hey Fred” he called his name but he was looking at Carmen like he was stone. Zyair rolled his eyes and left the room exhausted.

“You look beautiful,” said Eden and she smiled.

It was a huge hall, every Alpha around the world was there. The meeting was organized by the werewolf council. A huge limo stopped by the castle and a couple came out. Eden was introducing everyone to Hazel in whispers.

Fred and Carmen were standing with them. Hazel looked at the stair from where the couple was walking down. Her heart stopped for a few seconds, she held Eden’s arm even stronger,

He was talking to Fred and looked at her with concern. He looked in the direction where she was looking.

A tall man who had dark hair and deep blue eyes was walking expressionlessly down the stairs. There was a red-haired woman with him, whom they recognized because she had a lot of Patricia’s looks.

“Relax breath, I am here, no matter what I am here,” he said in a whisper.

“He is the infamous Alpha Tyler,” said Fred. “I hate to say that this idiotic woman who calls herself Luna of my uncle is not even worthy to be my servant,” said Carmen angrily.

“He is my father,” she said in a whisper and anger rushed into her veins.

“Relax Hazel,” he whispered trying to calm her down and then another announcement was made.

“Now for the moment we all have waited and finally we can meet the Alpha of Floroscura Pack,” said the announcer.

They all looked in the direction and at the glimpse of the Alpha, their jaw dropped like they were watching some horror movie.

“How can it be?” said Carmen, shocked.

“Holly, Molly,” said Fred.

“Finally we are heading towards another powerful pack,” said a female voice.

“First children and then our grandchild, we are gaining more power,” he said while putting his hand on her shoulder.

“I would love to say that intelligence runs in the family,” she said and chuckled.

“Do you remember when this all started?” he asked.

“Tale as old as time,” she said and chuckled.

“The boy has found our secret, thus we used this,” he said while showing her yellow glittering stone which was glowing in their presence.

“This a true gift,” she said while looking up and both laughed.

“Oh, I have changed destiny finally, I have gained what I wanted from the beginning,” she said in a whisper.

She got up and walked towards the wall, huge portraits were hanging on the wall. It looked like some royal photographs.

“Mom, dad, I know you can see me, look, what I get, what I want,” she said while looking at the photo of two girls and a woman and man smiling at her.

“You thought everything is my cheap little sister, well you three must be doing great up there,” she said and laughed.

“My Luna, it’s not enough right now, we got a new target,” he said.

“Yeah, I know, and this time, we will gain more power,” she said and they both laugh.

Her long curly hair was blowing with the air. She was standing on Top Mountain of the River-stone.

“You have to pay for what have you done,” she said angrily while looking at the castle like pack-house, River-stone’s pack.

A mark could be seen on her bare neck.

A thunder light strikes from the sky. She looks up and a smirk appeared on her face.

“Don’t worry, everything is fine, have you mind-linked Jacob?” asked Mateo.

“He has blocked me, something he rarely does and this makes me a bit anxious,” she said.

“Don’t worry, they will be alright,” said Mateo softly.

“But Mateo, Hazel and Carmen are there too, if someone recognize them,” she said and left her sentence incomplete.

“Relax, Alpha and Luna are there too and Fred and Eden, they won’t let anything happen to them,” he said.

She took a deep breath.
