Chapter No 27 Familiar

“She already knows already, what more do you want to tell her?” asked Ryan. “I want to tell her how silly you are,” she said angrily. Ryan gives her an angry sigh.

“I am your elder brother, nice way to talk to me,” he said, annoyed.

“Okay, Okay no need to fight, I will introduce her,” said Kai.

“Hazel, As you know I and Ryan are brothers and we are twins, while Carmen is a year and a half younger than us,” he said calmly.

“Wait, you are twins?” she asked, shocked.

“Told you, brother, she will not believe,” said Ryan.

“Yeah they are twins,” said Kylian Mischievously.

“She did not believe it because you are the ugliest twin,” said Ryan laughing.

“Yeah ugliest sharing face with you,” he said while crossing his arms around his chest. Hazel looked at both boys, last time she saw Ryan in a very awkward situation with the girl so she did not notice his facial familiarity, the only difference between the boys was Ryan got blond hair while Kai had fawn hair less golden than Ryan’s.

“No she realized,” said Ryan while looking at Hazel.

“Kylian is technically our cousin but not by blood. He is the son of our pack member who happened to be the best friend of our mom, Alex. Kylian is the only child,” Carmen said.

“And you Zyair?” she asked.

“I am the son of Alpha’s younger brother Mateo, and yes I am an only child too,” he said smiling.

“Mateo?” she repeats.

“Yeah!” he said.

“So you all are cousins except Kylian,” she asked. They all nodded.

“So only you guys and your parents live here with this pack thing,” she asked.

“No we have 500 pack members who live with us,” said Kai.

“500?” she asked, shocked.

“Yeah,” said Ryan. His phone started ringing, he looked at it and smiled widely. He got up.

“Where are you going?” asked Kai.

“Of course booty call,” said Carmen.

“Seriously brother? We are twins? You should be Eden’s twin” said Kai, annoyed.

“Whatever,” he said and left.

“Amm Kai?” called out Hazel awkwardly.

“Yeah Hazel?” he asked while looking at her concern.

“Who is Eden?” she asked. He smiled.

“You will find soon,” he said.

“What?” she asked.

“He means Eden is not here, so it’s so lame to tell you about him now but the thing is you will find him just like Ryan,” said Carmen.

“Maybe more than him,” said Kai while smirking.

She was sitting in the Garden, it was a huge garden in the pack. This was the place she liked most in the pack house, especially the Roses. Grace walked slowly towards the flowers, she was holding a picture and there were tears in her eyes. Hazel was looking at her from the corner of her eyes.

“Clair, what happened? Why are you so restless?” she asked, her wolf could sense emotions.

“Her wolf, it’s so sad Hazel, I never felt this sadness before,” said her inner wolf.

“I saw her crying,” she said. “Should I ask her?”

“Yeah go on,” said Clair.

She walked slowly towards the direction where Grace was standing.

“What happened,” she asked softly. She tried to remember her name.

“Hazel!” she looked at her.

“Sorry I forgot your name,” she said sheepishly.

“It’s Grace,” she said, smiling. There were still tears in her eyes.

“Grace,” she said smiling.

“What happened, why are you crying?” she asked. Then her gaze stopped at the picture she was holding, a young boy who had blond hair was smiling at her.

“He was my son,” she said in a whisper.

“What happened to him,” she asked, she felt very sorry for her.

“He died while saving me, a guilt that made me cry, I remember him every night,” she said while crying. She came slowly towards her and hugged her while patting her over her back softly.

“Grace I know you miss him, but the thing is you should move on, he is looking at you from up above and when he gets sad he must feel very bad, he loves you so that’s why he sacrificed himself,” she said softly.

Her words affect her.

“Your baby boy is safe and sound up there Grace, one day you will see him again, but today you have to live happily,” she said.

Grace gave her a deep sigh.

“What are you looking at?” she asked.

“You must have gone through a lot, your words are bigger than your age,” she said and smiled. Grace patted her over the head and left. She smiled.

They were standing outside of the cave for an hour but there was no sign of him.

“Where is he mom?” asked Carmen.

“He will be here anytime,” said Wanda.

“Mom I have always asked you why don’t dad live with us instead of meeting us here?” she asked sadly.

“And I have always told you that he has his reasons,” said Wanda shortly. Kai gives her a sigh.

“Don’t ask, she will never tell us,” he said through a mind link.

After five minutes they heard a rustle, she looked outside, A tall man who had fawn hair and deep blue eyes came inside the cave. Wanda ran towards him and hugged him.

“You are back” she whispered.

“ I am back to my beautiful mate?” he asked in a whisper and kissed her softly. Kai and Carmen coughed.

“Yeah, of course, my pups too,” he said and hugged both siblings.

“Where is Ryan?” he asked while looking for him. “Usual,” said Kai in sarcasm.

“This boy of mine would be my early death, we have asked him to live low profile,” he said worriedly.

“They are low profile, in high school, they have different surnames, Ryan and Kai are named as Alex’s and Nicky’s sons while Carmen as Julius and Grace’s daughter. We have covered it all, don’t worry,” Wanda said while calming him down.

“Where is he now?” he asked. Both siblings shrug.

“To his friends or clubbing may be,” said Kai.

“He reminds me of his uncle Tyler,” he said while taking a deep breath.

“How is everything there? How is Tyler?” asked Wanda.

“He is fine, you know,” he said with sad looks.

“He has been lucky that he did not mark Althea or else, he would also be dead,” she said. They were now talking through mind-link so that their children could not understand.

“Poor Althea, I miss her,” she said sadly.

“Mom, Dad, you have to tell us what this is about? Why is Dad not living with us?” asked Carmen.

“Carmen I….” Wanda tried to say something when Carmen cut her off in the middle.

“No mom, no excuses, we need to know, we are not small kids anymore,” she said angrily.

“I will tell you everything soon my muffin,” said Jacob.

“Dad at least we should know that you are not in any danger, we are worried about you,” said Kai.

“Relax son I am fine, I see the exact image of me in you, I know you will take care of your mom and siblings, you have my trust,” he said while looking inside his sons’ eyes. He was an exact copy of him.

“Jacob!” called out Wanda. He turns to look at her.

“Grace has called you at the pack house,” she said.

“But Wanda you know I can’t, if anyone in River-stone knows about it our plan would be ruined,” he said furiously.

“No one will know about it dad,” said Carmen while smiling mischievously. She opened her bag and handed him some clothes.

“What are these?” he asked. Both siblings smiled.

After five minutes he came out of the bushes, Wanda was laughing historically. “Oh my God, Oh my God! Look at you” she said.

He was wearing a long robe with a black wig and a fake mustache.

“Now Dad you are unrecognizable,” she said.

“You made me clown,” he said while crossing his arms.

“You know what, your sarcasm is similar to Althea’s,” his tongue slipped.

“Who?” asked Kai. There was dead silence in the cave.

“Let’s go, we are getting late,” said Wanda with a stony expression.

“What do you think about Althea? I mean look at our parents, they are like someone has offended them” Carmen said through a mind-link.

“I feel sadder than offended,” said Kai.

In North-pole Pack

It was snowing outside, the most common weather in the North-pole pack. She was sitting on her bed when she saw snowfall from the window. This room was cozy and beautiful too. She was so grateful for the pack that they have provided her with everything. She felt hungry suddenly. She touched her stomach and got up. Decided to go inside the kitchen to get something to eat. It was a huge house; she was passed through a lot of doors in the hall to reach the stairs to get down to the kitchen.

She reached the kitchen. After eating pizza she went back but stopped in the middle when she saw a tall figure who was standing near the stairs. He looked drunk. He had light blond hair and blue eyes which were red due to the liquor he was drinking. She was afraid of drunken men because of her abusive life.

She slowly walked beside him and crossed him to reach her room. She turned to look at him, he walked slowly towards his room, he was trying to put the key in the keyhole to open it but due to his drunken state he was unable to do it, she gulped and walked slowly towards him again, she has picked the keys from the floor and helped him to open the door, he looked at her. His eyes were deep blue and there was something in his eyes that made her heart beat fast. He was handsome and tall with his broad shoulders. He gave her a deep sigh and went inside the room.

Her heart was still beating so fast.

“Who is he?” she asked herself. She does not want to go inside her room anymore, so she decided to go to the TV launch to watch a movie.

Music was so loud, it was first time she was listening music but she liked the tone.

There was snowing outside, since when she came here, the only weather she observed was snowfall.

“Whoa, this song is so beautiful,” she said.

“Why Grace was calling me?” asked Jacob curious.

“Jacob, we have a girl here who was attacked by Paul or maybe his henchman, we took her in,” said Wanda.

“Paul? You tracked him, where is that bastard?” asked Jacob angrily. “We did not, we are still failed in catching him,” she said sadly.

“Hazel you are up?” asked Kai happily and went towards her. Jacob has looked in the direction where his son has gone. There was a tall girl with deep blue eyes and black hair which ends over her knees with bangs. Bangs those remind him of someone else’s. But her features, even blinded could tell something about her features.

“Tyler,” Jacob whispered.
