I walked back to the kitchen and grabbed a napkin started to clean the blood trail that led to the living room. I had most of it cleaned up, I walked into the living room and they stopped fighting and watched me, I just cleaned the blood and left, I did go back to the living room moments later though to hand Alex a box of Kleenex for Benjamin's nose.

I mind linked the betas son and asked if he wanted to go out and do something. The betas son and I have always been great friends, He's eighteen but he's so much nicer than the other pack kids, he's like an older brother to me. He said sure and I met him at the door where the alpha house meets the beta house, I waved to his parents and we walked to the car garage and I handed him the keys to my father's convertible.

it was like ten at night there wasn't a hell of a lot that we could do, but there were still enough things around to have fun. The beta’s son drove us to a roller rink, and we paid for the skates and joined the party. We were having a wonderful time, we skated around for a while and he asked about how I was handling the twins, he also said his dad heard the twins yelling about how there was something wrong with me, I apologized and told him to say sorry to his dad for me.

We drove around the town until one a.m when we pulled back into the garage neither of us saw the twins waiting in the dark of the garage. "Thank you for tonight Eric, it was really nice."

"Anytime Atlas."

It was like we were drawn together I found myself leaning in to kiss him, he was leaning in to kiss me too, I waited for our lips to meet only to realize there was hands-on ether side of my arms and I was pulled from the garage and brought to the house. The twins looked pissed. "I'm sorry I should have told you I was going out I didn“t----"

"Enough we don't want to hear the crap Atlas"

"You know what, I'm not sorry that I left, I left because of both of you, I heard you're entire conversation about how I'm your mate and apparently I have something wrong with me, I didn't want to hear anymore, I was happy with him, and I'm not sorry that I had the best time with him.”

I was going to say more but we all heard the clearing of someone's throat and turn and saw Em and Lucca standing in the doorway. Why would they just stop in?

"Have you three got anything you would like to say as to why the beta called me asking me to come to referee the fight that is going on in the alpha house," Lucca said his eyes deadly.

Em looked at my face and pulled me to the living room with him, he said he didn't want me to witness Lucca giving to twins what they deserved.

"Em, it's not all their faults, 1 did leave without telling them and I think their not happy because I almost kiss---"

"Atlas listen here, what my boys said before you left is bad enough, I'm sorry that they said such cruel things about you. But don't think I won't let Lucca talk with you because you at just as much at fault as well, but Lucca will be much nicer to you because you are his favourite of Kane and Quinn's children. You are like a son to him and me.”

“I understand."

Em lead me back out to the hall were Lucca was yelling at the boys, I watched as he smacked both the boys in the side of the head. I found myself almost laughing and as hard as I tried to stop laughing I couldn't. The glare from the twins was strong. Lucca was looking at me and he was still upset but not as much as when he first looked at me. I thanked the lords for that.

"Atlas perhaps you should stop laughing you are not getting away with anything here we have to be fair," Lucca said winking at Em.

I waited to be slapped in the head too but it never came instead what did come was a breathtaking hug, I thought he was trying to squeeze the life out of me. Em and Lucca left after a few more minutes, They also went over and apologized to the beta for the lack of respect from the spawns.

I was sitting on the couch when two shadows appeared on either side of my body. The Boys.
