Despite that Forest was a father I allowed him to still get into trouble and shenanigans. He had made some friends with some other wolves who were also dads and they all went out drinking together, which was fine with me, I didn't mind it at all. He was still young. Atlas was hanging out with me and the twins tonight. Only because Emerald and Lucca had come over with their boys and he didn’t want to be there to play thing for the night and I badly wanted to tell him what I thought but I didn't. He needed to learn in his own time. I didn’t need to be the one to tell him.

Atlas was watching cartoons with the boys when Forest finally came home, He had clearly had a few drinks and when he walked through the door I could smell all the booze. I knew exactly how this would go. Forest rarely drank so he could handle his booze and he became such a gentle soul who was smothering and needy. I found this Forest hopelessly adorable and when he wrapped his arms around me and held me close to him I smiled.

“I missed you, my love.”

“I missed you too, my alpha.”

He wouldn't let go of me and I found it sweet that I was always the first person he came to smother when he did drink. Atlas had the boys so I wasn't worried about not watching them for a few moments so their father could pay me some adorable attention. After he was done holding me he got on the kitchen floor and just laid there with his cheek pressed against the cold tile.

“You know I love you so much right?”

"Of course I know that my Alpha.”

“That's good, I never want you to forget that.”

“I never will, you have my promise.”

“Good.”

He looked up at me and watched me clean the counters.

“Can we get a puppy?”

“Maybe, Let me think about it.”

“Okay.”

“Okay.”

“Do you need help cleaning?”

“No, hun, i've got this.”

“Okay, I'll just keep this spot on the floor clean.”

“Alright you do that.”

I watched him just lay there for a moment before I helped him off the floor. I tried to convince him it was his bed time but all he wanted was to cuddle with me and make sure I knew how much he loved me. When I finally got him into the bedroom he asked me for a hug and I gave him one. When I tried to leave he asked for another. He kept doing this until he finally just grew too tired to ask for another hug. I kissed his lips and made sure he was asleep before I left the room. When I got downstairs all three boys were passed out on the floor. The cartoons were still on and playing but all that i could hear was soft snores. Grabbing my phone I took a few photos to show Quinn and Kane in the morning.

Sitting down on the couch I watched the tv until I knew none of the boys were going to wake up. When I was sure of this I flicked off the tv and went upstairs to join my loving husband in the bed. He was starfished in the bed when I got there. Lightly I moved him over but I still woke him up, He seemed a drop more sober but he was still being mussy. He smiled sleepily at me and tried to pull me down on the bed with him. He gave up pretty easily when I resisted him. Lowering myself into the bed he rolled over and wrapped himself around me. He had a booze burn going on and he was so much warmer than normal. Slipping away from him I went and opened one of the windows so that it would be cooler in the room because as he was I would be able to sleep beside him, he was too hot. Once the cool air filled the room I got in the bed and allowed him to hold me.
