02 - Chapter Two - Thanatos Alexander's Point Of View.

I took a deep breath and drove onto the pack’s lands, all the wolves on the land stopped and stared, the ones in human form didn't hide their glances, some spoke, some growled not knowing who I was. The pack land had not changed much and the house itself had been remodelled. I turned the car off and stepped out of the car. It was cold outside but it didn't bother me because my skin was like ice, to begin with.

Kane was the first one out of the packhouse, He didn't growl or glare at me, he smiled. He walked up to me and did something I was not expecting from the Alpha. He hugged me.

" Thanatos, I'm glad to see your alive" Kane said

"1am glad to see you as well Alpha,” I said, showing my respect.

" Please come in, Quinn will be so happy to see you"

"1am glad, I must admit I have missed this place, it was always so much more than my home,” I said truthfully.

We walked inside and their werewolf pups everywhere, Kane told me to forgive him for the mess of their house. I took a deep breath and could sense Forest right away, Kane called for Quinn and he came out of the kitchen, there were pups following behind him, they were all covered in different colours of frosting.

" Hello Thanatos,” Quinn said he smiled and called for his pups,

"Hey Quinn, You must forgive me for staying away, I needed to protect him"

"1 know, I have seen Thanatos, but it was time you come to visit him," Quinn said smiling

A little boy came in and stole one of the cupcakes off the trays Quinn had.

" Atlas you use your manors, you are not little you are 14, not 3"

" Sorry mother”

"It is fine, go play but first where is your brother?"

"Forest went down to the pond with the rest of the boys to go hunt Rabbits and Fis....." the kid stopped talking the moment he saw me. He rushed over and just looked at Me.

" Oh My God, you're a freakin vampire, I've never seen a real vampire before"

"Hello, My name is Thanatos” the kid's mouth just dropped open farther.

"Brothers going to be upset that you are here, he said that he was angry with you and that he never wanted to see you never ever ag---" Kane covered his son's mouth and Quinn tried to apologize but I told them it was understandable that Forest was not pleased with me.

I was explaining the things that were going on within our clans when Forest came in, the only reason I knew the six-foot-four werewolf was my mate was because of his smell. Kane was about to welcome his son into the room when Forest had grabbed me right off the chair and slammed me against the wall.

Both Kane and Quinn tried to pull Forest off of me, He growled and I told them just to walk away and allow him what he needed to forgive me. His eyes were flashing between yellow and green, he was fighting within himself and there was nothing I could do but wait until he killed me or let me go, unfortunately.

"Why?"

I looked at him as he spoke.

"Why what," I said

He growled at me some more and slowly let go of my neck. I tried to move away from the wall when he stepped back from me. He growled and his eyes went pure yellow.

"Stay right there, don't move," He said using the alpha voice he had, he must know that I'm not a pack member so it won't work on me. I didn't move, I stayed in the spot he told me to. I wasn't afraid of him, but I knew he was going to look for something. He came back to the kitchen with a box in his hands, it was a first aid kit.

He walked over and grabbed me by the wrist and dragged me back to the kitchen chair. I was about to sit down on the chair. He lifted me by my hips and my shirt lifted up a bit and his hands came into contact with my skin and I felt the tingles. He growled and placed me on the top of the island. He brushed my hair away from my face without touching me. He was just confused, he didn't understand. But I could understand his struggle with this.

He eventually got annoyed with having to move the hair, he pushed me down into a lying position and pulled all my hair in a way that it would flow over the side of the island. He then crawled up onto the island and straddled me, and began to rub some kind of cream on my bruised neck.

Quinn walked in and grabbed Forest right by the hair and tugged him off of me, I almost felt bad.

" Not in my kitchen!, You have a room for that Forest, and you're too young," Quinn said yelling in his ear,

I slipped off the countertop but remained leaning against it, Kane walked in just in time for Forest to growl at his mother in a threatening way. Kane looked at Forest and let one of his growls out. Quinn came and looked at my neck.

" Holy Luna you neck is black and blue Than"

"I'm alright Quinn”

Quinn began to wrap my neck in a bandage when Forest got all territorial over me.

He began to growl out the word mine over and over. Quinn turned around and yelled at him.

"Yes, he is yours and I wouldn't have to touch him if you didn't try to kill him. Do you freaking understand me you giant growling lump!" Quinn was giving Forest an extreme glare.
