Chapter 498 Bullying Him Together

Jasmine who finally realized who she had offended, turned pale. She lost her appetite for her food, for the food was made by Cedrick.

"Gwendolyn, did I just... cross Mr. Jenson again? Will I live to see tomorrow's sunrise?"

Gwendolyn held back her laughter. "Don't worry. He's a magnanimous man who won't hold you accountable for this, let alone someone as young as you."

Still, she leaned over to kiss it before turning to the babies to patiently say, "Your daddy made a mistake, and that's why he was punished. Benny, Zendy, you'll need to keep an eye on him for me in the future to whip him into shape, okay?"

Cedrick pursed his lips.

Gwendolyn nearly burst out laughing when she registered his bitter look. "All right. I'm just messing with you. You're so good all the time, so how can I bring myself to hit you?"

Despite the thought, Cedrick merely lowered his head in silence.

After the babies were asleep, Gwendolyn finally asked Zoey to come into the nursery to rest.
