"You want Zendy to take the Harris family name?” Gwendolyn knitted her brows slightly. Zendaya Harris? I guess we can make that happen.

However, this matter could be a bit complicated. In the past, when Cedrick transferred the Jenson Group's shares to her, she had made a promise at the ancestral hall to divide the shares equally among the children.

If she were to change Zendaya's family name to Harris, she would likely cause another uproar among the Jensons.

Zendaya had just woken up and was gazing at Gwendolyn with narrowed eyes.

Her diaper had become thick, indicating that Zendaya had wet it. Gwendolyn looked up and shouted downstairs, "Ceddy, come and change Zendy's diaper!"

In the meantime, Cedrick was in a video conference on the second floor.

After Cedrick finished speaking, there was silence in the bedroom for a while.

Gwendolyn chuckled. "Shares are insignificant compared to the safety of our children. I only agreed to that arrangement to rescue you from the Jenson family's ancestral hall. If we decide to distribute the shares now, it'll snowball into a serious matter. Our shares in Jenson Group and Harris Group are the largest holdings, and giving them to the children would be as if we're officially declaring them as heirs. This could attract ill intentions and potentially put them at risk. Ceddy, I got into a lot of trouble because of my identity as the designated heir of the family. I don't want Zendy and Benny to go through the same hardships in the future."

Cedrick understood her feelings. After changing Zendaya's diaper and placing her on the bed, he walked over and gave Gwendolyn a hug. "What other plan do you have in mind?"

Leaning her head on his shoulder, Gwendolyn looked at the two babies beside her with a somber expression. "Zendy can take my family name, but I want to return the Jenson Group shares I hold to you." She felt it would not be beneficial for the children to possess such a substantial amount of shares at such a young age. The rapid increase in their net worth could attract unwanted attention and envy, and that will put them in a precarious situation.

Cedrick cupped her face and kissed her lips. "You decide."

As he kissed her, she remained still, not giving him any response.

Cedrick ended the kiss with a puzzled look and gazed at her. "Gwenny?"

Gwendolyn hesitated for a moment before asking him a serious question. "Did you wash your hands?"

That question rendered Cedrick speechless. I finished washing Zendy's bottom! Of course, I did!

"You're getting tired of me so soon?" His dark eyes stared at her with a hint of resentment.

Gwendolyn suppressed a laugh and held his face with both hands. "I was just teasing you." After she spoke, she leaned forward and deepened the kiss from earlier. Overwhelmed by the kiss, Cedrick felt his whole body go weak. He leaned into her embrace and rested his head on her belly. "Darling, you're way too alluring..." Just one kiss and Cedrick was already feeling overcome with desire. When will I be able to enjoy more intimate moments with my Gwenny?

Gwendolyn could guess what he was thinking. She gently caressed his chin and grinned while pressing her lips into a thin line.

Allowing him to indulge for a few more minutes, she suddenly remembered the matter at hand. "Weren't you in the middle of a video meeting? Are you done with it?" Cedrick snapped back to reality in an instant. "Oh, the meeting!"

He almost forgot about it.

After picking Benedict up, he immediately returned downstairs.

While staring at his back, Gwendolyn shook her head resignedly.

As evening approached, Nico came to the house, bringing news about Gina. "Gwendolyn, we have thoroughly investigated Gina. She's indeed the real Gina. There's nothing wrong with her."

The crease on Gwendolyn's forehead deepened. "So, you're saying she is the genuine Gina? And all her background and experiences are authentic?"

Nico nodded in confirmation.
