Gwendolyn giggled as she extended her right hand, offering Cedrick her slender and fair fingertips.

"Have you thought it through? You can't regret it afterward. If you dare to let me down in the future, I won't spare you."

Cedrick managed to make Gwendolyn laugh. Her sorrowful mood from half an hour ago dissipated completely after his gentle efforts moved her.
