Chapter 39: That Night

I walked in and sat next to Dove's bed. I was looking at my phone. I looked over and saw Dove watching me with a confused look on her face.

"Hello, where am I?"

" You are at Savage's club."

" We rescued you."

" Do I know you?"

" Yes, Dove, you do."

" How do I know you?"

" We are married. I also claimed you by biker law."

He was handsome but I don't remember him.

"I don't remember you."

" You will get your memory back soon he told me."

I lay there watching him. Then the door opened and I saw Bear walk in.

"Bear is it true?"

" Is what true baby girl?"

" He said he is my husband."

" It is true."

" He is your husband."

I looked into my brother's eyes. I could tell he was telling me the truth.

"Doc said you can get up and come out for breakfast but you can't walk."

" One of us has to carry you."

" I don't know him I said."

" You carry me."

" Alright, I will send Donna in to help you get dressed."

After Donna helped me to put on sweats and a tee shirt we waited for Bear.

"This shirt smells good I said."

" It's Cherokee's."

We heard the knock on the door and said come in.

"Bear asked if I was ready."

" Yes, he walked over and lifted me bridal style."

He carried me to the kitchen with Donna following behind us. He sat me next to that man they said is my husband. My brother brought me a plate of food and coffee. I kept sniffing the tee-shirt because it smelled good. I saw that man watch me out of the side of his eyes grinning.

"After we ate I asked if I could set outside.'

" Sure we can Donna said."

" Bear was putting our plates in the dishwasher when he looked over and said Dove,"

"Cherokee will carry you out to the porch, I have something I have to do " I looked over at Donna and she said she would get us fresh coffee and meet me on the porch.

I looked over at the man they said is Cherokee.

" Are you ready he asked me?"

" I lifted my arms and put them around his neck as he lifted me up."

I laid my head against his shoulder. Why do his arms seem familiar to me I asked myself.

I buried my face in his neck and sniffed him. I grinned as she sniffed my neck. I walked out the door and onto the porch. I carried her over to the lounge chair and laid her on it.

"Are you in any pain I asked her?"

" No," I said still holding on to his neck. I can't stand up with you holding on to my neck I said looking at her grinning.

My face felt hot as I let go of his neck.

"Not that I mind it" he said grinning. I watched him stand up and then he told me and Donna that he would be over there in the garage with Bear, Beast, and Savage. I watched him walk across the compound confused.

"What's wrong Dove?"

I looked at her. "Donna, why do I feel as if I know him?"

" What do you mean?"

" When he had his arms around me and I smelled stetson why does it smell so familiar?"

" Because Cherokee always wears stetson because you like the smell on him."

We were talking and drinking our coffee when I saw a man that looks like Cherokee.

"Donna, there is Cherokee" I said pointing at the man leaning against the garage. I saw her look over at the garage and said, " That is not Cherokee, that is his brother, Wolf"

I heard her screaming "Cherokee, Bear, Wolf is leaning against the side of the garage."

I thought he would run but he didn't. I saw the club members circle around the garage. I looked from Wolf to Cherokee.

"No wonder Dove thought you were not Cherokee."

"What the hell are you doing here and with long hair?"

" Hello brother."

" How is my wife doing?"

" You know it felt good to fuck her again."

I watched from where I was sitting when that man hit Cherokee and they started fighting.

Then my brother, Beast, and Savage started kicking him. Stop I screamed. Cherokee I yelled, I saw the man turn and look over at me. But the one who said he was Cherokee punched him. He didn't even look at me. Then I had the image of Cherokee in my mind. His beautiful dark brown eyes looking at me.

Then I saw Wolf looking at me. His eyes were light brown. The man who has been with me here is my husband. I saw that they held Wolf to the ground and Grave Digger walk over to him. Tie him up and throw him in your cells. He will be leaving her as soon as my men get here.

I watched as they dragged Wolf away. Then I saw Cherokee walk toward the club and onto the porch. He walked over and kneeled next to me.

I threw my arms around his neck and smelled him.

"I missed you so much. I cried."

" Cherokee why didn't I recognize you?"

" Everything about you seemed so familiar."

" Your arms around me, your smell."

"It's alright Dove."

" You are safe now."

" We won't let them hurt you again."

I stood up and lifted her in my arms. I walked into the club and to the room, I was using while here at Savage's club. I opened the door and shut it behind me. I lay her on the bed and took my cut off and placed it on the chair. I kicked my boots off and then I lay next to her. All I wanted to do was to hold her. Make sure she was real and not a dream.
