Chapter 19: Dove Goes Into Labor

We have been here for two weeks now and I was tired. I had so many documents to go through in Wolf's office and I noticed he had them everywhere. I talked to Dove about them and she told me that she would help me to organize and it would be simpler if we just went through all of them and burned anything that was over seven years old.

She said it would be best to sort documents especially members by their last name and put them in files with the first letter of the last name and so forth. I was starting to sort the shit from Wolf's desk when a prospect ran into the office.

"Cherokee, Dove's water broke."

I dropped the papers on the desk and ran past him to see Dove holding her belly and the table.

I picked Dove up and carried her out to the truck. Beast was driving. We were halfway to the hospital when she screamed and doubled over.

"Hurry Beast."

We got to the emergency room and "I yelled I need a nurse."

" My wife is in labor."

I saw a nurse run out pushing a wheelchair and I lifted Dove in it.

"Go park the truck and come to the maternity floor I yelled."

I followed the nurse to the elevator and up to the maturity ward. The nurse helped Dove to change out of her clothes and lay in the bed. Another nurse walked in and said, "honey, I think the whole club is in the waiting room."

" There are men pacing everywhere. You would think they were the fathers."

I laughed and Cherokee said "she is the second in command after me."

" She is the queen of the club."

Just then Temper walked in the door and over to Dove and kissed her forehead.

"I moved my MC here and go to visit you when I was told it was time. I am glad I made it. After all, I am going to be the godfather."

Then he turned and looked at the nurse standing next to the bed.

"Well hello, love."

" What's your name?"

" Grace I said blushing."

" Well, Grace, my name is Temper. I am the president of the Tempers MC."

" Are you single Grace?"

" I am."

" So am I."

" Would you like to have a cup of coffee with me sometime?"

" I would like that. Well then give me your phone."

I watched as Grace handed her phone to Temper and he put his phone number in it.

"Give me a text so I have your phone number."

I watched as Grace text him and Temper smiled. Then I screamed. Grace checked me and said "I will get the doctor."

" It is time to have a baby."

I was holding Cherokee's hand when the doctor said "one more push."

We heard the baby crying.

"You have a very healthy, handsome son."

They cleaned the baby off and then lay him on my chest.

Cherokee leaned down and kissed me. "We have a son he said."

" What will you name him?"

" Eagle, I like Eagle."

" Then his name is Eagle White feather."

" Take him out and show him to the club members."

While they cleaned Dove up I carried Eagle out to the waiting room.

"We have a son" I said.

"His name is Eagle White Feather."

They all gathered around looking at Eagle.

"He is so cute the Valkyrie's said."

" A new beginning for our club they said."

Then I looked at Temper and he had tears flowing down his face.

I handed Eagle to Temper and he said, 'hello little man. I am your godfather. "

After a few minutes, he handed Eagle back and said.

"Best take him to his mama."

" We will see Dove later when she is rested and they all walked out of the waiting room."

I carried Eagle back to the room and sat in the chair rocking him. I saw that Dove was sleeping. She needed the rest as she had hard labor.

I heard Eagle start to cry and knew he was hungry. I saw Dove open her eyes.

"I handed Eagle to her and watched as she put him to her breast."

Fuck, this is not the time for my cock to get hard. I want her but she is not ready. I have not even kissed her since the wedding.

I leaned down and kissed her lips and she did not turn away. I felt hopeful for the first time. After she fed Eagle I changed his diaper and lay him in the crib by her bed.

"How are you feeling babe I asked her?"

" I feel good."

" I could use a cup of coffee and something to eat."

" I will call Temper and ask him to bring us coffee and food from McDonald's."

"I called Temper and asked him to bring the coffee and food and he said he was already at McDonald's."

I laughed and said. "You knew what she would want."

" Of course, I did. I will be there in five minutes."

We looked up and saw Temper walk in the door. I saw Dove reach for the coffee and she thanked Temper.

We watched as Temper walked over and looked down at Eagle. "Hello, little man," he said before sitting down in the chair next to me.

"So when do you get released, Dove?"

" I don't know yet. I have not seen the doctor."

" I hope in a day or two."

"It will be nice to visit the club instead of here."

" So, you moved back to the states?"

" I did."

" Our club is in Fort Wayne not far from yours."

" I heard you are moving your club to Van Wert."

" That's right. We are."

" That will be about 40 miles from your club Temper."

"I know Van Wert you will scare the hell out of that town."

" I know but once they find out we are not a bad club and will do things that help the community they will be fine with it."

" I am sure they will be."

" I am excited about the move. We found a nice piece of property just outside of town."

"I can't wait for the move."

" We even have a barn and we are getting some horses. That way kids with anger problems, and disabilities can come and ride the horses."

" It will be a good thing for these kids to have somewhere to go for therapy that they can't afford."
