I. THE DAIMONION REALM

About Demons :

- Preternatural strength, agility, speed and can teleport anywhere (even places and realms they haven’t been to before).

- When they experience intense emotions, their eyes will glow purple.

- Make use of portals to gain access to the other side.

- Have been known to grant wishes and have people indebted to them.

- They are natural enemies with werewolves, mostly acquaintances with vampires and are closely affiliated with witches.

- They do not have predestined partners for them. They choose a partner and then mate for life.

- Have specific powers. *

*POWERS OF A DEMON :

- Superhuman durability (more resistant to injury and diseases, endure pain easily).

- Superhuman stamina.

- Immortality.

- Can fly (they don’t have wings).

- Different demons can control different things eg. fire, lightning, desire etc.

- Can mind read and possess strong mental blocks.

- Quick healing.

- Mind control and compulsion.

- Pain infliction.

- Telekinesis.

- Persuasion.

THE HISTORY OF DEMONS :

Lilith is the creator and mother of demons. The various types of demons are her creations. Several wars broke out within the demons and to put a rest to that, Lilith went in search of a King and a Queen. She revived Aiden, an assassinated King from the human world and Eden, an ambitious princess murdered by her father. They were the first Demon Royals who possessed all powers. With Aiden ruling Hiaven began the King Dynasty, the first Royal family to ever exist in the underworld. Eden ruled Friella, a Kingdom of females that paralleled Hiaven. Within Diamonion exist four other Kingdoms but Hiaven and Friella remain the most powerful of them all.

THE TYPES OF DEMONS :

i. FIRE DEMONS - Demons that conjure fire and can wield it as a weapon. They are often employed as guards in the demon realm.

ii. INCUBUS - A male demon who derives power through sexual intercourse

iii. SUCCUBUS - A female demon who derives power through sexual intercourse.

iv. THUNDERBOLT/STORM DEMONS - Demons who can conjure electricity and wield it as a weapon. They can also cause lightning and cause and control storms. Many of them are soldiers in the demon realm.

v. DRUDES - Demons with magical powers that work closely with witches. They are also known as hags or elves.

HALF DEMONS (HYBRIDS)

Half demons are demons born from the union of a demon with another demon who still has to freeze into immortality.

Are mostly dormants/human unless they are fed demon blood which can trigger the change in them.

Preternatural strength, agility and speed. They cannot teleport.

When they experience intense emotions, their eyes will glow purple.

- They initially lack the ability to fly.

- Can mind read and possess strong mental blocks.

- Persuasion

- Immortality.

- Superhuman durability.

- Superhuman stamina.

II. THE LUKAN REALM

The realm of the shapeshifters under the spell of the moon, The Werewolves.

About Werewolves :

Heightened sense of touch, hearing, smell and vision.

Preternatural strength, agility and speed. Most Alpha’s can learn to teleport by carving specific runes on their bodies.

They have inner wolves. Upon the appearance of the inner wolf, their eyes will glow.

They are natural enemies with demons and vampires and acquaintances with witches.

Most are skilled in combat.

They have mates who are predestined life partners for them. They mate for life.

They shift every once a month during the full moon. Stronger wolves able to bear the pain of a rune can carve a specific one on their body to shift at will.

They move in packs, never staying at the same place for more than five years and exhibit extreme loyalty and empathy towards their kind.

Also known as Lyca, Lycae or weres.

Have specific powers. *

POWERS OF A WEREWOLF :

- Possess strong mental blocks.

- Superhuman durability.

- Superhuman stamina.

- Immortality.

- Healing.

- Can mind read.

- Can mind control to a certain extent.

- Pain transference.

- Can connect with nature to discover someone’s whereabouts.

- Lie detection.

HISTORY OF WEREWOLVES

Selene, the goddess of the moon, is the mother of werewolves. Selene visited Earth in the form a wolf, leaving her footprints on land. When there was rain for the first time in many years due to her visit, a tribe drank the rainwater out of her footprint, embracing the change from man to wolf. Those people became to known as the Tribe of the Wolf, choosing to call themselves a pack. Through them emerged the thirty packs that are known today. In the recent years, through skill, cleverness and an ambitious spirit, Vienne Charleston rose to power amongst the packs, crowning herself as unofficial Queen to the Lycae until she was overthrown by her own son, Matthew, The First Tyrant.

III. THE WICCAN REALM

The realm of those endowed with magic, The Witches.

About Witches :

- Draw their power from nature.

- Are all female. Warlocks have ceased to exist.

- Also known as the servants of nature.

- Have a vast set of powers. *

- They aren’t immortal unless they are bonded to someone immortal but live for about two centuries.

- Their eyes bleed black when they don’t control the amount of power and energy they channel.

- Have alliances with all species except the vampires with whom they are natural enemies.

- Known to have easy going personalities which is why they fit into the human world so easily.

- To those whom powers are passed on hereditarily are also known as Wiccans.

- They have magic infused blood running through them. This is why they can use their blood for spells and also why they are hunted by vampires as vampires gain power by drinking from them.

- They do not have mates but following Wiccan traditions, they are bound to the person they marry for life.

POWERS OF A WITCH :

- Necromancy (can conjure the dead).

- Elemental Control (can control the elements of air, fire, earth and water).

- Scrying (can see what’s happening in places through mirrors or any other reflective surface).

- Can also control the weather.

- Precognition (Can foresee future events).

- Can render people unconscious.

- Can read minds (but only after years of practice).

- Spell Casting

- Telekinesis (can control movements of people and objects).

- Memory transference.

- Potion Brewing

- Can feel spiritual activity.

- Healing

- Superhuman durability (more resistant to injury and diseases, endure pain easily).

- Can create illusions.

- Pain transference.

HISTORY OF WITCHES :

Witches are the children of goddess Hekate. Hekate’s daughter Haxa was the first witch to ever be born. Together, they searched for children to bless with the power that is magic. And from then began the realm of the witches. When witches are born into a family, they are blessed with magic and the aptitude for witchcraft by Hekate and elemental control and a belongingness with nature by Haxa. Through them rose the twelve covens there are today. Hekate and Haxa no longer visit the witches now, they’ve resigned themselves to a life of peace while those they chose, continue the legacy.

IV. THE UNDEAD REALM

The realm of the nocturnal hunters, the Vampires.

About Vampires :

- Also known as the undead and leeches.

- Heightened sense of touch, hearing, smell and vision.

- Preternatural strength, agility, speed and can teleport/trace anywhere.

- Are natural enemies with werewolves and witches and acquaintances with demons.

- Have elongated fangs and eyes that turn red when they consume blood.

- Excessive amount of blood sends them into a high.

- Are known to be cunning and evil.

- Most prefer to live alone as they aren’t fond of following the rules set by a coterie but a few known coteries do exist around the world.

- Have predestined partners. They are known as brides (females) and beloveds (male). They bond/mate for life.

- Female Vampires are lesser in comparison to male Vampires. This is because female transitions into a vampire almost always fail due to an unknown factor.

- Can release a toxin into their prey through their fangs to partially paralyze the prey.

- Have specific powers. *

* POWERS OF A VAMPIRE :

- Compulsion

- Superhuman durability

- Superhuman stamina.

- Manipulation.

- Hypnosis.

- Can mind read and mind control.

- Possess strong mental blocks.

- Immortality.

- Some are Mistwalkers who can transform themselves into mist form.

- Lie detection.

- Pain infliction.

- Different Vampires can control different things (wind, animals and dreams)

HISTORY OF VAMPIRES :

Lamia is the goddess and mother of vampires. Many, many centuries ago, Lamia visited a barren realm where only the dead remained. She resurrected them and the strongest, who could resist the change, emerged as the first coterie of Vampires. Vlad was the first to make it through the change and after many fights, was made the Count of the coterie. The Vlad Clan eventually was assassinated and the Vampires broke apart, many choosing to live in freedom while other formed coteries of their own. Nowadays Vampires live recklessly. They hunt, murder and drink without limit. Vlad’s Vampires have lost control and there is nothing that can be done about it.

THE OTHERS

These are the species with no realms of their own and exist as ‘others’ in different realms including the human wold.

i. THE ETERNAL FALLEN - Fallen Angels cast out of Heaven. They protect Earth and monitor the coming and going of species within it.

ii. VALKYRIES - Odin’s battle-maidens. Valhalla is their safe place and within it, lay the books containing all prophecies. Daughters of royalty, they carry magic in their fingertips and ride their horses into war. Brave, carefree and powerful, they reside in the human world in disguise, hidden from the sight of immortals.

iii. WENDIGO - Eternal beings with constant cravings for raw flesh.

iv. MERFOLK - Aquatic beings with the upper body of a human and tail of a fish. They are immortal and travel in pods. Known for their kindness and beauty, they love collecting items from the shore to add to their collections.

v. SIRENS - Mermaids with ‘killer’ beauty, fangs and melodious voices known to lure sailors into sea to their death. Also known as ‘the wendigo’s of water.’

vi. FAIRIES - Magical women with wings. Most live in human world and so prefer to stay in human form. Also known as Feys.

vii. HUNTERS - Humans gifted with powers to monitor the underworld. They are close with the Fallen and have a longer life span along with superhuman abilities.
