As the chatter from the group outside reached her ears, Natalie started to feel that something 

was amiss. 

She casually tapped Gracie’s name into her phone, scrolling through the news feeds. The latest buzz about Gracle was still frozen in time, a few days old by now. 

Staring at her phone screen, Natalie furrowed her brow, and a shiver ran down her spin. 

With the Howard family’s deep roots in Streamville, It seemed like there was little Brian wasn’t capable of managing or controlling in these parts. 

He must have downplayed the incident last night to protect Gracie, right? If a fan committing murder got out, it would be the end of Gracle’s career, not to mention her life in showbiz. 

That evening. Natalle and Rosle popped Into a convenience store for some snacks. 

As luck would have it, a fellow actor from their show was inside grabbing some Greek yogurt. Natalie greeted him politely before she and Rosie headed out. 

They hadn’t gotten far when the actor caught up to them, calling out, “Natalie!” 

She stopped and turned, puzzled. 

“For you, this kind won’t add an inch to your waist,” he said with a scratch of his head and a smile, offering Natalie a cup of yogurt. 

Natalie looked at the outstretched hand, pausing for a moment before accepting politely, 

“Thanks.” 

It was just a cup of yogurt. Refusing it would make her seem too cold and standoffish. 

Rosie, on the other hand, could see the subtext clear as day. Natalie was stunning, the type of beauty that took your breath away at first glance and only grew more captivating the more you looked.

Luckily Natalie had been facing away, so her face was probably not captured. 

The yogurt–offering actor was a rising star, gaining some traction after transitioning from pop idol to dramas. Paparazzi loved to track these types, as even a whiff of a scandal could send social media into a frenzy, particularly with his substantial fan following. 

“It’s all good! You guys go ahead, I’ll take care of this,” he said, glancing at the disturbance

Some fans who hadn’t returned to their hotel yet noticed the commotion and started to gather around. 

Natalie knew that no amount of explanation would help. It would only make things worse. It was best to leave. 

As the actor walked towards the paparazzi, she didn’t linger, turning instead with Rosie to squeeze through the crowd and onto a quiet side street that led back to the hotel. They hadn’t gone far when they saw a car parked by the curb. 

Natalie glanced at the car and froze. 

What were the chances? 

A man leaned against the vehicle, his silhouette barely discernible in the dim light, but their eyes met. 

“What’s wrong?” Rosie whispered, sensing something was off. “Do you know him?” 

They were too far for Rosie to recognize Brian, but Natalie knew him instantly. 

“Rosie, you go on ahead. I need to chat with a friend for a moment,” she said in a low voice. 

Rosie hesitated, concerned. But after Natalie insisted a second time, promising to follow shortly, Rosie reluctantly walked away, looking back with every other step. 

Taking a deep breath to steady herself, Natalie approached Brian. 

His gaze was fixed on the cup of yogurt clutched in her hand.
