As the month passed, Esmeralda delivered the letters to those disgusting packs making sure that the letters for the slaves was placed inside the slave quarters.

I wished I could have seen their faces as the Alphas sees the letters placed on their desk. No way could anyone get into their office without someone knowing.

The curiosity of the envelope pulls them to open it and see what’s inside.

Seeing the white note card say to you, “Your past has come to destroy you.”

With a Demon and a Rose underneath it. They will know exactly who we are if they gave a damn about each pack member.

Adam may not remember who I am, but he will when his head rolls off a cliff and decimated by the maggots crawling all over.

The other alpha, I believe is Blake, he has no choice but to remember my mate. After all Demon is the one to take his children and raised them as his own.

Star did notify me that the bastard had another child, a son in fact. It also seems that Adam’s Mate, Ashley is heavily pregnant. The Night pack last had a child born in the pack about three months ago.

The moon goddess must think she is so smart for putting young children in the pack. Does she really think that it would change anything for them?

My view of the playground down below brings a heavy feeling to my heart as the girl that Demon saved sits on the swings looking around confused as to what the thing is supposed to do. Alex seems to see that she is fragile and shows her what it means to be a child and have fun. Her curly hair flies through the air as she goes higher and higher before she falls. Alex rushes over and is able to catch her fragile 6-year-old body.

Looks like Sonja training is paying off.

Demon scent wraps around me, “Amos and Zhaire will meet us when we attack. The books that he was able to find is in the safe. We can look at that later, for now let’s enjoy tonight with the others.”

Turning I cup his cheek smiling, “Yeah let’s do that.” And without a second thought I kiss the man that I will burn the world for.

He pulls my body to his and deepens the kiss as the background of laughter fades leaving us in a beautiful bliss.

The moonless night covers me in darkness.

The sniper rifle in my hands weighs more than I wanted it to, but it can’t be helped.

Especially with me balancing on a tree branch. Nothing to save me from the 20 feet fall.

The others surrounding the Blood pack are too spread out at the moment to catch me before I was to meet the ground.

An internal clock chimes as the shadow of the new moon reaches its highest point. The stupid grandfather clock inside the pack house chimes 12 times. Finally announcing that arrival of midnight.

Not a word was said as Esmeralda emerged from the shadows followed by Nathan and Sonja. Everyone else silently killed the patrol before they could signal to their pack members.

Adam should have felt their deaths by now. Bingo

The lights in the pack house turn on as some screams shatter the silence.

Footsteps run through the pack house as they realize they have nothing protecting them now. Their security was shitty to begin with.

I line the rifle into position and take slow quiet breaths waiting on what I wanted to happen.

The entirety of the Blood pack runs outside stopping short on the porch as they see my three members standing there with bored looks on the face.

Adam makes his way through the crowd with a sneer on his disgusting face.

The yells come from him as he demands to know what’s going on.

No words are said from our side the air getting heavy as fear from the ones behind him grew. His beta tries to go through the back door of the pack house marking him as my first target.

He flattens himself to the side of the house. Through the scope he smirks as if this was a guaranteed win.

He took one step out into the open as I released a slow breath while pulling the trigger. The bullet released from the chamber to his upper calf.

The silver bullet making the pain much worse than if it was just a regular bullet.

Reloading the next shot I aim back to Adam.

Esmeralda smirks saying something snarky probably.

Adam growls and starts to charge at her.

Nathan and Sonja get into a defensive position as the next bullet flies through the air and lands in his femur.

The next bullet hits his tibia finally bringing his down on his knees.

I shot two more into his shoulders laying him on his back.

A smile made its way on my face glad that I decided to go with sniping instead of a nasty fight. No reason to waste energy is we can avoid it.

I look down at the ground and realize I may have fucked up. How the hell am I going to get down now?

Standing there I shrug my shoulder and let the wind knock me over the branch and the ground grows as I get closer to the ground.

Hopefully I don’t die from my own stupidity otherwise I won’t be able to finish hunting my prey.

A pale figure races from the distance and catches me midair, “Good Evening Chieftain”

Landing on the ground, Amos places me on my feet, “Thank you Amos. Let’s keep this little incident a secret, okay?”

A laugh sounds through the air from him as he gives a slight bow, “As you wish Chieftain, so long as Chieftain Demon does not ask of it from me.”

Rolling my eyes I hand the rifle over to Amos and we walk out into the clearing.
